A strong breeze brushed against L's skin.
Making her eyes open at last. The scene in front of her was tall buildings from certain distance. A few raindrops began to attack her as dark clouds swallowed the sunlight. The rain soon fell. "Where am I?" L looked down at her hands beneath a perplexed scowl.
She was still in her body. This felt too real to be a dream. Then, when did she come up to the rooftop? Which building was this? Wasn't she with Caleb in library just now? Where was she exactly? As the confusion wandered, L realized her sight was getting blurry. "Tears?"
She wiped the tears away in realization. Why? Why was she crying? A rush of sadness rose up within. It was as though her heart were being scratched by a knife. This type of sorrow was on another level. "Don't get caught" A man's voice attracted her attention.
