The first thing he noted when he woke up was the tattoo on his chest which lit brightly before disappearing into his skin. He felt as though he had been born again with sharper senses as he could see clearly in the dark depths of the forest that surrounded him. Levi brought his hands close to his face and he made fists with them closely examining for anything unnatural trying to shake off the memories from earlier, dismissing all of it as a bad dream. He noted that he was in the forest that covered south of the Labs taking from the conifers that towered his being, so he supposed that the Labs were north and he would head there after garnering up some more energy but now all he needed to do was rest a little. He also wondered how he had gotten in the forest at the first place, maybe some silly beast had stored him for dinner meal.
'Come on beasty, lest this daddy knock a little sense into those silly brains' But he shook off the thoughts because if it had been a beast he would at least have some wounds.
He was still in the midst of his ponderings when he heard someone approaching from a distance. He turned to look and it was a man in about his mid-twenties with white overflowing hair and an athletic physique and a porcelain complexion. Though he was shirtless with some dirt he still had the aura of a higher being. He carried with him a friendly expression as he walked back carrying deer.
The stranger skinned the deer and from his palms came out flames which roasted the meat. He then turned to Levi and friendly asked,
"Want a piece?" He offered.
Levi was left speechless by the gestures made by the stranger, here yet again he was with some other higher being. He was forced to pinch himself and knock his head a little to check if his brain was still functioning. These last moments were most confusing and in the next few moments were about to go next level.
Instead of replying he decided to make a run for it but before he had even covered the distance three trees away from the fire, he found himself surrounded by exact replicas of the stranger. He looked and they were just above 500 strangers with one still offering him some meat.
"Want a piece?" The stranger friendly gestured.
Levi felt his head spinning before he lost consciousness.
******************************
He found himself in the dark abyss again, in the distance as usual was the large churning ball of energy but it now had been consumed by the purple and it now looked like a mixture of yellow, purple and a small red.
Curious though, he thought about the memories and almost instantly he found himself surrounded by the small orbs of light. He was quick to notice the one that Dread was clutching too earlier since it glowed a little more brighter. He held and clutched it his hands not forgetting to close his eyes.
As though responding to his antiques, the orb emitted a golden radiance and immediately the scenery around him started changing. He was now in a gigantic cave of some sorts with gold, rubies, emeralds stored in the other side of the room. And two dragon eggs on a large rock. He realised that he lacked mobility not because of anything but because he was sharing a body with a wyrmling. It looked like Dread although it was still young and inexperienced.
A tremor coursed through the cave followed by a bone-chilling roar. The wyrmling ran to the entrance of the cave to see for himself and what it saw caused Lain's mouth to gape.
It was a slaughter, a female purple dragon that was about the size of a small hill was terrorizing humans, hurling lightning breaths and striking them dead, the unlucky ones finding themselves in her maw. Although it looked like a losing game for the humans, they still poured like ants to take down their aggressor. There were also mages which baffled Levi's head on how all history on them was which led him to think and ask himself if there were still some live ones.
Outstanding from the rest was a brigade that were putting on blue for the mages and red for the knights. There arrival seemed to turn the tide of the battle as the mother dragon was slowly losing out. Her eyes turned purple and she turned her eyes to the wyrmling whose head was protruding from the entrance. She turned to her aggressors and her body started emitting sparks, it then roared to the skies and as though they were listening the skies darkened.
And with one last desperate angry roar, sparks of lightning flew off her body and others raining from the skies finished off every life around, the event lasted about 5 seconds. As the smoke receded, the ground was covered with charred bones, all the trees had fallen with the mighty heroes. The other wyrmlings which had hatched now came to watch the sight with Dread as it was truly one to behold. This memory though insignificant was to shape the future of the greatest dragon to ever live.
