A few minutes passed.
"Oh! I see now, when you agreed to this world having gods, you were talking about Matka Alles." I paused to smile at the idiot rolling on the ground in pain.
"Here I thought you were calling yourself a god."
"How could I, when I can't kill someone as strong as the Warden!" He rolled over to look at the ceiling, his eyes filled with extreme hatred for me.
I kicked his side, and it made a pleasant thud that echoed in my eyes. This small action made him roar at me.
"Why did you hit me?! You promised, never to raise your hand at me again until I open the prison cells!"
I grabbed his work suit by the collar and lifted his face a few inches off the ground, before blessing him with a slap that echoed throughout the entire second floor.
I put my index finger on his lips and whispered, "What if I told you I just felt like it? Is there something you're going to do about it?"
Hyde couldn't stand my smiling face and spat saliva at me in scorn. "What am I going to do about it?! Here's what I'm going to do! I will let all the other inmates you're trying to save rot in their cells until they die! You should treat me with respect, like the prison guards do when they need my help!"
I couldn't help but scoff at the stupid galactic prison system, which thought it had me trapped. But he was just a dog lost in the jungle without a sense of smell.
It was bound to die one way or another.
I wiped the foreign liquid off my cheek and smiled at the arrogant brat with my eyes closed. "Well, you should have opened those cells when I was still being kind; now I'm going to force you to open them."
Before I could hear his nonsensical rambling, I closed his mouth with my left hand. I wasn't stupid enough to try to suffocate a cyborg to death, so I took a nail I had made for Layla earlier.
Its pointed silver edge reflected in Hyde's eyes, which were darting around like ping pong balls. When I brought it closer to his left chest, he released muffled sounds, desperately trying to escape my grip.
[Please stop! I beg you!]
My brows knitted into a frown as I stared at the hologram that had appeared in front of me. Paying it no mind, I stabbed Hyde's left chest.
Pfaaa–!
Surprisingly hot blood rushed over my face, and the pain was evident on the cyborg's face as he twisted his body in various directions to escape my grip. But I knelt on his legs, breaking them in the process.
[I will open the cell bars! Just make it stop! I will even let myself be your slave!]
Too late for that now!
Hyde didn't want to abandon his human appearance, so most of him was still human; the only artificial parts were what was inside him.
'Hehehe... I wonder if his intestines are made of another substance.'
Out of curiosity, I found the silver sharp nail in my hand descending, tearing apart Hyde's chest.
Countless holographic screens appeared in front of my eyes, but I ignored them as I was greeted by what appeared to be the system's lungs.
The shape was rectangular and the size of an open palm. The color was azure, with many tubes connected. From afar, I could hear the sound of air exchanging, along with blood flowing.
Tap... Tap... Tap...
I gently tapped the cuboid, and Hyde let out tears of blood, as the small action proved to be a little disturbing for him. Nevertheless, I continued to repeat the same action, giggling at how helpless he was.
It felt like I was poking him with a needle, and all he could do was stare helplessly as he embraced the pain like a masochist.
After some time of enjoying messing around with Hyde's lungs, I found a holographic panel in front of my eyes containing amusing characters.
[Tito Roux Z... I have opened all the cells and blocks. Please find it in your heart to stop this torture. I beg you, Tito, please stop.]
I removed my hand from his mouth and asked with a flustered voice, "Is that true?"
The prison system adopted a pitiful expression as oily tears streamed down its face. "Yes... It's true. If you don't believe me, let me show you."
A holographic screen displaying live feeds of the inmates rushing out of their cells into the prison hall popped up in front of me, and I patted Hyde's bushy hair in satisfaction.
"Good boy..." The smile on my face turned a hundred and eighty degrees into a cold stare. "You have earned yourself an early death."
Swish–!
Before Hyde could say anything, I used the nail in my hand to slice through his thin neck, leaving a mixture of blood and hydrochloric acid spilling onto the ground.
I stood up, and my ears were met with an overwhelming silence. This place was no illusion, but the true second floor of the galactic prison, with a narrow pathway and towering walls adorned with a few doors.
I walked over to Layla, who was sleeping on the ground, making grunting sounds like a pig. I brought my face close to hers, leaving only a millimeter between our lips.
Taking a deep breath, I whispered, "Hey darling, you should wake up now. I'm ready for the next round."
Layla's eyes shot wide open as she looked to the side, avoiding contact with my lips. "You demon! Why are you trying to take advantage of a sleeping beauty?!"
That would be true if you were actually sleeping...
I kissed her cheek and said, "I can't help it. I won't call myself a man if I don't make a move on you when you're wide open, like shooting a penalty kick without a goalkeeper."
"Tsk! Get the hell away from me! You really sound like someone who's going to make a move on me!"
Hehehe... That bought me some time.
