Hein felt some of his teeth break as he flipped over the ground until he hit the wall. Despite the pain being too intense for his frail body to handle, he still managed to stand up.
Seeing this, Tito shook his head in disappointment. "Honestly, I personally have no grudge against you. Take that kick as your payment for hurting Meron."
Tito was telling the truth; although he still hated aliens a bit, he became furious when Meron was shot in the heart by the Vice Warden.
Hein could tell that much, and it only made him feel more frustrated by Xenogenesis. He knew Black and White hated him, but why wasn't he doing anything to kill him?
Crack...
Veins started forming on Hein's cheeks as he made his hand sniper invisible to test what the inmate's special ability was.
Whoosh–! Whoosh–! Whoosh–!
He shot a barrage of silent bullets at his adversary, but Tito just sidestepped to the side, letting them hit the rubble behind him.
Hein was confident that he was the only one who could see in the darkness that shrouded both of them. However, he couldn't comprehend how Xenogenesis was dodging his bullets.
In the next second, an idea popped into his mind: 'It must be his hearing. No! It is definitely his hearing!'
Taking out the only gun he had that could make loud noises, he pointed his revolver directly at Tito's head with a smirk on his face.
"This is goodbye."
Bang–!
The great stone bullet twisted around in the air, aiming to leave a hole in Tito's forehead. Nonetheless, the man of fire didn't flinch, as he caught the bullet with his third and fourth fingers.
He smiled at the Vice Warden. "I told you before, we are all going to die together here. Even if you have a means of escape, I won't let you."
Hein was sure his hunch was correct, but he couldn't tell how Tito was able to avoid an ear bleed. Even his eyes would bleed if he were exposed to shimmering lights.
Little did he know that when Tito fought his first Correction Chief Officer, he learned to control the range of his hearing. If he focused, he might not even hear a thing.
With a proud smirk that the Vice Warden saw through his enhanced vision, Tito said, "I am glad that you didn't drink Meron's blood, because if you did, you wouldn't be getting only a few kicks in the face."
"You! You!" Hein sneered at the man of fire, but he couldn't continue with his words.
Bam–!
He might have seen it coming, but thanks to not being a fighter, his nose was crushed by Tito's knee, smashing the back of his head into the brick wall.
"Arghh!" He groaned in pain as he found his nose bleeding.
However, that wasn't all, as he felt an uppercut coming directly at his jaw. He coughed up blood as he was lifted into the air by the force of the punch.
Wham–!
On his way down, he received a kick to his gut. Hein instantly blacked out for a moment, feeling all his air pipes closing up.
Thud–!
Hearing the Vice Warden fall to the ground, Tito stepped back, making a disappointed sigh. "Let's stop this; I need to die in peace, not in pieces."
Cough–! Cough–! Cough–!
Hein coughed up a river of blood that created a stream on the ground, flowing toward where Tito was sitting. He ground his teeth in frustration, unable to stand someone taking pity on him.
'Just why? Why won't he take me seriously?!'
Tito was acting like Hein's parents, which made the Vice Warden more furious with the inmate.
He was not just a punching bag; he was a beast who would fight back. He was more than what met the eye; he could kill dragons if he put his mind to it.
"Stop fooling yourself, Hein Malvado." Tito confronted the Vice Warden with a calm voice. "We are all human; there is no need to describe ourselves as beasts, even if we feel like one."
Tito wanted Hein to sink into a pit of despair, and the corrections officer could tell that much, which was why he was becoming angrier by the second.
"Stop this bullshitting and fight me like a true man!"
Tito smirked and decided to ignore the taunt. "What does it feel like? You probably feel horrible, right? Now, I want you to think of how Meron felt when you shot through her heart."
"..."
Hein became silent for a few moments. He now understood why Tito was doing this to him, yet he couldn't shake the feeling that Xenogenesis was just bullying him for fun.
'Does he really intend to die here together with me?'
At that thought, Hein turned pale with fear. Tito was someone without a dream or goal ahead of him, so he didn't really value his life that much. He was also the same, but he wasn't planning to die here tonight.
He tried to reach for his earbud in his breast pocket, but the man of fire suddenly had a change of heart the moment he touched it.
Wham–!
Hein was suddenly kicked to the side, rolling against the wall and cracking some of his bones, which instantly restored thanks to his invisible battle suit.
The moment he looked over at Tito, his eyes shook a bit in fear as the man of fire cracked his fist.
"Now that I think about it, our youngest cried because of you. I should torture you before ending your pitiful soul."
Bam–! Wham–! Pow–!
Despite wearing a battle suit that enhanced his physical abilities, Tito's kicks always found their mark on Hein, leaving him coughing up blood.
Vroom–!
Starting up the rockets in his legs, Hein's bloodied body shot up into the air to avoid a beating. However, his back cracked as a knee landed squarely on it.
Bang–!
Hein crashed into the rubble on the ground as part of his face was torn up. However, he started laughing like a madman.
"Hahahaha! You should have killed me sooner!"
Zap–!
