"Aghhk!" A vicious groan escaped Meron's lips as she stared at the short, platinum-haired man who had made her like this.
She could no longer feel her left arm, and her movements now looked sluggish to her. Nonetheless, she wasn't one to give up easily.
Darting over to her right, she had a thought like never before: 'I wish Tito were here. He would be able to burn down this heavy chunk of ice trapping my arm.'
She quickly shook her head to clear away that thought. Meron strictly doesn't want another man in her mind.
Pew, pew, pew—!
Bullets came flying at her, and Meron swiftly used the ice block on her left arm to block the attack. Her eyes shook slightly as the bullets bounced back to the ground.
"Just what is this staff..?" she muttered in a confused tone.
Her words reached Captain Arnold's ears, and his emerald eyes looked at her in a mocking way.
'Just what low-tech planet did she hail from? Well, that is none of my business.'
Taking his aiming position, he pointed his shotgun at the alien, but he couldn't shoot at her. Meron was using one of his dead inmates to shield herself.
"So she has figured out that there is a GPS function in the bullets," the pale man murmured to himself as he lowered his gun.
It wasn't a secret that the electric guns had GPS bullets, but thanks to their high speed, the bullets can't make a ninety-degree turn.
"Let's fight her in close range, let's not stop attacking."
At Arnold's orders, everyone, including him, triple-tapped the bases of their guns, and they shrank to the size of a pinky finger.
After putting them in the breast pockets of their silver tights, they took out small swords glowing in different colors, but after a long press, the swords returned to normal size.
Looking at the sharpness of the swords, Meron couldn't help but swallow her saliva, as she was sure even a slight swing would slice through her.
However, this made a plan form in her mind. Taking advantage of the moment of their transformations, Meron rushed at the alien green-skinned prison guard.
Well, she tried to run, but thanks to the block of ice that covered her left arm and the dead man she was carrying, Meron was just walking fast.
Bang—!
Fourteen of the low-ranking prison officers charged at the inmate at bullet speed. Taking advantage of the weight on her hand, she fell to the bloodied ground.
Splash—!
The block of ice fell on top of her and acted like a shield against the incoming attacks. Thanks to the momentum they already had, the low-ranking prison officers couldn't stop their attacks.
Crack—!
The block of ice broke apart and Meron's arm had several cuts on them, but the yellow-skinned woman swiftly acted as she spun and knocked out all fourteen correction officers.
Seeing this, Arnold was quick to act as he fired his electric shotgun again, but three times this time. However, Meron had somehow anticipated this and used one of the prison guards' bodies to protect herself.
Thack... Thack... Thack...
The moment the bullets connected with the prison guard's slick silver battle suit, they all stopped shimmering blue and fell to the ground, making Meron's green eyes greatly shake in the dimly lit hallway.
Vroom—!
Like a car engine, the rockets inserted in the shoes of the prison guards started up, lifting all of them in the air.
Thud-!
Meron fell to the ground as she had to let go of the girl she had taken as a shield. Amazed by this out-of-this-world technology, the black-haired woman couldn't help but wildly shake her eyes.
However, that wasn't the end of it. All fourteen people hovering in the air started attacking her, taking advantage of the speed buff they were given.
Bang—!
Arnold Muchena fired a bullet. He was just doing his job to make sure that all the inmates from Block F are killed, just like any corrections captain would do.
Seeing that there was no way out of this, Meron decided to sacrifice the left side of her already wounded chest.
Chuck—!
A pink glowing sword pierced through her non-functional heart, but for some reason, it shot out a stream of blood.
Meron didn't have time to ponder about it as she used her raw physical strength to push the prison guard towards the path of the coming blue bullet.
Tap—!
Just like last time, the bullet lost its color the moment it touched the battle suit. Meron didn't waste time and threw a deadly jab at the one piercing her heart.
Bam—!
The puny human fell unconscious from the impact of the attack and lost grip of his pink-colored sword as he started to hover in the air, crashing over the cell bars before falling to the ground.
Thud—!
Meron removed the sword from her chest and waited to attack the remaining correction officers, but all of them, including Arnold, were just touching their earbuds as if they were listening to someone.
Their eyes had become dilated and seemed to have lost control of their bodies.
Meron found herself smiling as she had seen something familiar in the past, and all she was waiting for now was the ringing of gunshots to confirm her thought.
Pew... Pew... Pew...
Bullets were fired in rapid succession, piercing through all the foreheads of the prison guards, leaving them to add another pile of corpses to the ground.
"Hein!"
Meron suddenly exclaimed as she looked towards the entrance of the hallway where a red-eyed man wearing a suit was standing with a silver revolver gun in his hands.
Why was he here? Why does his face look indifferent despite seeing his lover?
Meron didn't care about such things as the person she wanted to see the most had appeared before her.
Just like a high school girl, she rushed over to hug him in her gentle loving embrace. However, the black-haired man wasn't returning the favor as usual.
He slowly bent his left hand and directed his colt revolver to her remaining left heart.
Bang—!
