Chapter Twenty-Five:
"How long will you hide being a normal person?" I asked her out of blue after I take care of my Lady and now, we're here sitting on the green land under the moonlight.
"What are you talking about?" she answered that obviously hides the truth.
"Come on! Tell me honestly, are you a Witch?" I directly asked and it seems her reactions changes.
"So, you knew."
"Yes."
"How?"
"Is that even important?"
She looks me in the eye before she heaved a sigh. "Alright, you were right. I am. So, what now?" she asked after she confessed. "And do not ask me why I hide my true identity. It just that, I don't want the Vampires knows what I am capable of. Mostly to Manu, you knew how they obsess to gather more powerful Witches on their side. And that's what I'm trying to avoid."
"Then, why did you choose to work here instead of staying away from them?"
"I don't have a choice, because there is a reason why I am here." She answered. "And you already knew what it is."
I knew? What was she's talking about? "What do you mean I knew?"
"What?! You don't know?"
I sigh. "Sai, if I knew why should I ask?"
Sai laughs about it before she answered. "Alright, I thought you knew because you already figure out that I'm a Witch."
"That, I just knew it after seeing you three times using your ability."
"What?! Really?" I nodded. "But I only used my powers when I'm… oh, no! Don't tell me you're stalking me?" I just laugh from her accusation. "Anyway, that's not the important thing. Now that you knew who I am, you should know why I'm here and it's all because of Lady Siara." She seriously said.
"What! Why?"
"Isn't she the Maiden's Grail?"
What! She knew that! "Who are you?"
"Doesn't it matter? Because right now the most important thing is to protect Lady Siara," she said and she was right, we need to protect Siara at all cause and now because she already knew about the Maiden's Grail. I can only trust her with Siara's life since I'm just a mere human who got the chance to live along with the Vampires.
"Then, I'll believe you." I sincerely replied. "Now that you knew, whatever happens to me you will protect her no matter what, right."
"Of course, I will."
I smiled. "I'm glad to hear that."
"Not because humans have limitation it doesn't mean you cannot protect her longer because I know you can until you age."
"Well," I look up to the moon. "It just." I said and shrugged off. We never know what will happen tomorrow. I silently said to myself while I focus my eyes to the moon.
Present…
"And yet, that normal life that you both wanted was just a wishful thinking." Someone suddenly answered that made us to look at the person who came out of nowhere.
"No, this can't be!" Dealla answered. "You!"
"Yes, and as I promise to my friend, I'm here to protect Lady Siara."
"You're the one that I saw outside our shop, right?" Dealla asked.
"Yes, I am."
"Sai Morgan of Cabot Tribe." Norward said.
I look at her and she didn't age. "Sai?"
"It's been so long since we met, Lord Haimon." She said and bowed before turning to Norward to greet and bow.
"It's been so long since you showed up, so why now?" Dealla asked.
"It is because Lady Siara's reincarnation has been exposed." She said before looking at me. "And even if her scent were all covered up with flower scents, it won't last long."
"Then, what should we do now?" I seriously asked.
"Bringing back her memories will be the best thing to do before they done it first." She answered.
"She's right, Haimon." Netro answered. "We need to bring back her memories as soon as possible. That way we can at least save her." he seriously stated and I know they were right but still, I'm thinking about Siara's feelings.
Will this be right if we bring back her memories or not? I don't know what I need to do.
Del Gazini's Residence
I don't know what is going on with me but I really need some fresh air and since that Haimon wasn't here I decided to go for a walk. I went out at the park near to our place and there I silently walk around. Without any plans I just walk there and try to take some time to feel free away from our home.
"What a surprised!"
Suddenly someone noticed me and when I look back to see who was it, I'm surprised seeing him. "Mr. Reinhardt!"
"Too formal," he said and smiled. "You can call me Kanik since we're out of business. Isn't it right?"
"Well, you were right but then…"
"No buts." He spoke. "Anyway, what are you doing here alone? And shouldn't you be in the shop now?" he curiously asked.
"Oh, I decided to take a leave for a while."
"Oh, okay. Well, we all need some time to rest."
"Yeah!" I said and nodded. "Anyway, what are you doing here?" because as far as I remember, his residence wasn't near here so what was he doing here?
"I came here to visit a friend." He spoke. "Then, when I was about to go home, I suddenly wish to take a walk at this park and that when I saw you. That is why I decided to approach you." Okay, that's explained. I said to myself. "Alright, since that we've met why don't we have a snack? My treat and I insist!"
I look at him for a while before I decide. "If you insist, then, let's go."
"Good! Let's go."
Café Shop
"Wh-what are you talking about?" I'm surprised from what I've heard from Kanik.
"What? That really surprised you?"
I don't know what to answer but he was right because I already knew my husband is mysterious in many ways.
