Chapter 36 -  Deal with the Hima Clan

Ashina Uzumaki, the patriarch of the Uzumaki clan, sat in his chamber, surrounded by the ancient scrolls and artifacts that symbolized the long history and unmatched mastery of the sealing arts his clan possessed. The room was dimly lit, the flickering candles casting shadows that danced across the walls, creating an atmosphere that mirrored the complex thoughts swirling in his mind.

A soft knock on the door disrupted the silence. Ashina's sharp gaze shifted towards it, and with a nod, he signaled for the visitor to enter. The door creaked open, revealing a tall, elderly man draped in the traditional robes of the Uzumaki clan. His Red hair flowed down to his shoulders, and his eyes, though clouded with age, still held the sharpness of a seasoned warrior. It was Kaito Uzumaki, one of the Youngest and most respected elders of the clan, who had just returned from a long and arduous mission.

"Welcome back, Kaito," Ashina greeted, his voice carrying the weight of authority and the warmth of an old friend.

"Thank you, Ashina," Kaito replied, closing the door behind him and walking forward with a slight limp, a reminder of the many battles he had fought. "It's good to be back home."

Ashina gestured for Kaito to sit across from him. "I trust your mission was successful?"

Kaito nodded slowly as he settled into the chair. "It was... but there were some unexpected developments. On my way back, I made a stop at the Hima clan's base. I sought an audience with their Leadet."

Ashina raised an eyebrow. "The Hima clan? Is it the new clan which has been rising in popularity lately . What was their leader like?"

"He was a powerful man, his chakra reserves were just as big as you which already enough as you are currently the person with the largest chakra reserves in the whole clan, as for his personality... I didn't stay long enough to properly gauge it but with what I have seen so far he is serious when needed to be serious and playful and welcoming when it is time to be" Kaito Says recalling everything he had picked up with the short meeting with Akio

Kaito hesitated for a moment before continuing. "He proposed a deal. The Hima clan is in possession of several ancient scrolls, each containing Powerful and elite jutsu that have been Personally made by their clan head. However, their sealing techniques are... insufficient. They fear that the knowledge contained within these scrolls might be lost or, worse, stolen. They need our expertise to seal them properly."

Ashina leaned forward, his interest piqued. "And what do they offer in return?"

"A fair trade," Kaito said, his voice dropping to a whisper. "Five S-class sealing jutsu, each one more powerful than the last. And trust me when I say they can do it I was able to see one of their s class jutsu and it was revolutionary stuff."

Ashina's eyes narrowed as he considered the implications. "That is indeed a generous offer. But is that all I feel that something is missing from your story and judging from your face it must be something?"

"There is more," Kaito continued, his expression darkening. "After our discussion, As me and my daughter were heading home I could feel a part of my memory was sealed so I checked it out and it turns out it was my sealing technique that was there but this sealing was... different. I can feel it in my mind, a fire imprint embedded within the seal. If I attempt to unseal it, it will detonate, destroying my mind completely."

Ashina's face hardened as he processed this information. The Uzumaki clan a clan known for their sealing expertise could normally deal with the type of seal on Kaito's Mind but this was something else entirely, if even an expert at sealing like Kaito couldn't undo the seal then the fire imprint in his mind isn't something to be trifled with at all . A silence settled over the room as both men contemplated the gravity of the situation.

Finally, Ashina spoke, his voice calm but decisive. "The deal is too valuable to pass up. We need to strengthen our relationship with the Hima clan, but we must do so with caution. If they are willing to share such powerful jutsu with us, there may be more they are hiding. We will send a delegation to their base to assist with the sealing of their scrolls."

Kaito nodded in agreement. "And what of the fire imprint? Should we attempt to remove it?"

"No," Ashina replied, shaking his head. "We cannot risk your life, Kaito. For now, the seal stays. But we will monitor it closely. If it becomes unstable, we will find a way to deal with it. In the meantime, we must ensure that the Hima clan knows we are their allies, not their enemies."

A thoughtful silence fell over the room as Ashina pondered their next move. After a moment, a plan began to form in his mind. "I will send my youngest daughter with the delegation. She will observe the Hima clan closely and assess the potential for a deeper alliance. If there is a possibility of a marriage alliance, it could solidify our bond and give us greater insight into their true intentions."

Kaito looked at Ashina with a mixture of surprise and admiration. "You would send your own daughter? That is a bold move."

Ashina's expression softened as he thought of his daughter, her fiery spirit and sharp mind. "She is more than capable, and this will be a good test for her. If she proves herself, she will be one step closer to taking on more responsibilities within the clan."

Kaito smiled, the pride of a father shining in his eyes. "Very well. I will prepare the delegation. We will leave at first light."

As Kaito stood to leave, Ashina remained seated, lost in thought. The path ahead was uncertain, but the potential rewards were too great to ignore. The Uzumaki clan had always thrived on their strength and cunning, and this deal with the Hima clan could elevate them to new heights. But it was also fraught with danger, and Ashina knew that they would need to tread carefully.

The room grew quiet once more as the door closed behind Kaito Ashina stared into the flickering candlelight, his mind already strategizing the steps they would need to take. The future of the Uzumaki clan hung in the balance, and he was determined to ensure that they emerged stronger than ever.
