Fifty-Three:
Into the Deep
I'm not sure what just happened, but I am now falling and before I knew it, I submerge down to the water. The impact was unexpected I couldn't even swim up resulting for me to go down deeper and deeper. I'm losing my breath as I continue to drown, my vision getting blurry I can no longer see the surface until…
A hand holds on to me, because my vision already failing even my breath I don't know who it was. I just suddenly felt that I can breathe, but still my eyes aren't clear enough to see who save me. I just felt that 'whoever' that was, it saves me out of my misery.
…
"Jeanne!"
As I cough, I heard 'his' voice. I catch up my breath before my eyes finally clearer and see the man that I'm waiting.
"Almos!" I said as soon as I finally recover. "Wh-what are you doing here?" I asked and we're at the surface of the water, and we are just floating into nothingness. "And where are we?"
"In your deepest desire." He answered.
"What?" my eyes shrink with confusion.
"You can't understand it right now, and we don't have much time to explain it because right now, we need to escape out of this place."
"I don't know… I don't even know where I am. I just…" 'Wait? Am I… dreaming?'
"No, you are not dreaming."
I intently stare at him. "Then what? Where am I?"
"I said earlier. This is your deepest desire. This isn't a dream rather this is something beyond and right now, your body is in danger. You were put into coma because your spirit is nowhere to find."
"Nowhere to find, yet you found me."
He got speechless for a while. "I'll tell you everything once we escape and right now, we have to find the portal that connects to your consciousness. And we need to hurry."
As he ended his words, the water suddenly shakes and waves begin to show. We were almost swept away due to the gradual strengthening of the water, causing me to cling tightly to Almos.
"What's going on?" I asked as I cling to him and he holds me tightly.
"It was the doing of the Dark Spirit."
"Dark Spirit?"
"Yes. If there's a Light Spirit then, there's also a Dark Spirit. They are the guardians of the Deep. The souls that escape from the Limbo they go into the Deep where Dark Spirit are the ones that guards them and will forever be punish without even vanish."
Too much information and it takes time for me to absorb and right now I don't think I'll be able to understand it clearer. Yet the word 'Deep' is something I have to ask.
"If you were telling me that those Dark Spirits came from the Deep then, what was that one doing here?"
"You were also into the deep, but this is your deepest desire. The darkest part of your soul, the one that has all the sin you commit and will commit. The hidden emotions and feelings that you just know what are right and wrong. Trying to correct and do the right things that God said from his commandments. Not to try to do the seven sins that was released on Earth when God given a task not to open the box of knowledge. This is your darkness as everyone on Earth had. The close door that only the Evil can open if you let the Demon open it."
The explanation was clear and I fully understand it, however, how could I open this place and let a Dark Spirit enter my depths of my darkness?
"We need to go now, can you swim?" he seriously asked that cuts my thoughts.
"Ye-yes."
"Then, let's go."
We swim from nowhere. I can't see because the darkness blinds our path but because Almos is here by my side, I knew we're going to somewhere save, an unseen place from within me.

Earth; Gyles Residence
"What have you done?" Ilmatar asked as soon as she came.
"As what you heard, Almos already went inside Jeanne's mind."
"Without waiting for me?"
"Well, as I see to it, God of Time already gave you the right to stop the time." Dione answered and she was right about it. The time finally stops and it will only be move if Ilmatar let it flow once again.
"Asim, why did you let them do this?"
"They'd both agreed with it even though I disagree, they won't even listen to me."
"It is for Jeanne's safety and that is our top priority, am I right Goddess Ilmatar?"
Ilmatar couldn't speak right away since what Dione just told is the truth. She can no longer argue with it.
"Alright, now that the time stops how long we are going to wait?"
"That depends on them." She answered. "Because right now. They are facing a tough fight that will be difficult to escape."
"Her deepest desire…" Ilmatar answered until the whole house suddenly trembles. "What was that?"
"It came from the room where Jeanne occupied." Asim answered and they all went to that room only to find Jeanne already floating from the bed. "What is going on?"
"We still don't know," it was Dione. "We need--" she was frozen when suddenly wings came out from Jeanne's back.
"That's…"
"Almos' wings," Ilmatar continued what Asim was about to say. "He was protecting her right at this moment."
"Indeed. And I'm glad he found her after thirty minutes of lurking around Jeanne's mind."
"But still, they are facing danger. Shall we not help them? Or what help can we do for them?"
"Nothing. Right now, we need to trust them Ilmatar because that is the only thing that we can do to help them. If we try to invade her mind, we don't know how many portals we can open and it might put Jeanne in much danger. So, we have to fully trust Almos."
