Regan had no idea what time it was or how long she had been looking at the window. She knew it was night, but nothing made sense to her. She had been crying and blaming herself for falling in such an evil trap. She could have stayed like she always did, but doing this wouldn't earn her anything. There was a thing for sure, this place didn't look like earth at all. The thought itself made her shiver. But what if it was just an illusion? Maybe Sirius lied and cast some spells on her. Whatever it was, Regan couldn't think of something logical. She wondered if there were any other beings in there, of course if it wasn't earth. Or was she all alone? How would she even get back to her home?It sounded ironic to her that she hated the home she had. What about her aunt? What about Vesper? Was she going to see them again? No, she couldn't stay like that. She had to find a way to escape and go back where she was.A door knock made her flinch. Scared of who was coming, she rushed to the other side of the chamber. The double door opened and it revealed...a short woman? Regan's eyebrows furrowed."Sorry for the disturbing, miss. His highness ordered to bring you food," she spoke in the weirdest accent that Regan had ever heard. The woman looked young, had dark hair and a bronze skin color. She kept her head low, so Regan couldn't see any other details apart from her maiden dress. It was green, long, and with a white apron over it.She was holding a tray with food and Regan just remembered how hungry she was. But hold on! As Regan approached the weird woman, she saw her bronze skin had several reptilian scales. In complete weirdness, Regan stumbled back, startled. As the young woman looked at Regan, Regan saw her big gold eyes, which she had never seen before. The unknown's face was clear of scales but her neck had some that matched her skin's color and looked like small bronze mirrors. After that, it was confirmed for Regan, she was abducted by alien species; in another planet.Shocked by the supernatural revelation, Regan ran her hands through her hair and started to pace around anxiously."Oh my God! Oh my God!" she said to herself pacing back and forth, not believing what web had she caught herself in.The young woman did the same, she was confused, raising an eyebrow. Then, after a while she decided to speak."I've brought you food."Regan immediately looked at her, wide eyed. The food was unknown, the place unknown. She was inside a place with aliens and creatures, she had no idea what was going on. She thought as if she was going to faint but still, she managed to get closer to the maiden."Please, tell me where I am and help me to get out of here! Please," Regan pleaded, her voice trembling with fear and uncertainty as she got nearer the other girl; fearing her outcome."I am sorry miss, but I'm not allowed to reveal much. This realm is called Silvertide." With those words, she placed the tray of food on a nearby table. Realm? What realm?"Can you help me escape? Please..." Regan said with a pleading look again. The maid opened the doors quickly and left without any other explanation.Regan was left again puzzled and decided that if anyone would come again, she'd find a way to force herself out of that dark chamber. She looked at the side, at the tray of food to see a bowl with a weird soup or whatever it was and a drink. No, there was no way she was going to eat, she thought that they were probably the sinister sorcerer's doings and she wasn't going to risk anymore. They weren't even human, she didn't know what to think. Yes, they didn't have animal shapes but whatever they were, they weren't human. She'd rather starve then eat something poisoned or spell casted. The young woman's words wandered Regan's mind and she was terrified of where she got herself in. As weak as she saw herself, how could there be some way to get away?Regan couldn't stay like that; shehad to do something and she decided to search around to find any clue or something she could help herself with. The room was dimly lit, but was enlightened by the lamps that the sorcerers lightened earlier. A tall single door led to the bathroom, which Regan had looked at it before. It was luxurious just like the chamber itself.A beautiful wardrobe with carved roses was on the end of the chamber. Regan looked quickly inside but didn't find anything worth. She entered the bathroom to wash her face and noticed how lost she looked. Her hair was mostly red."Unbelievable!" she thought of what Sirius said earlier but there was no way she had powers. He's either crazy or...Regan washed her face but noticed that water had a weird light blue color and she immediately backed away. Where did this water come from? She remembered the crazy thing that this wasn't earth and maybe water wasn't water. She wiped her face with a towel, only because it smelled good. However, she was scared that they were all poisoned, awaiting for her to fall in the traps.Out of the bathroom, she searched the chamber again for anything to help like a phone, some passage or something to open the window but then again, she found nothing. Her hunger was palpable, but she wasn't going to eat what was in front of her when she didn't even know what that dish was made of.She lay in the bed and tears formed in her eyes. She wiped them away and wondered if she would ever get away.Although she was worrying about her fate, she wondered what would happen if she got back on earth. Her body trembled when she thought that the sorcerer would haunt her again, as before.***"What time did she call you?" Monica asked more panicked than ever."I already told you, aunt Monica, the same time she called you but my damn phone wasn't on battery." Vesper replied, trying to calm her down."I can't believe it, it makes no sense, she said she wasn't feeling well and I was coming home very fast. Where the hell did she go in such a short time?" Monica said as she sat stressed on the couch, "are you sure she didn't say anything weird to you? When did you say Regan for the last time?""I don't know, the last time I saw her was at school. Then, she skipped the class because she wasn't feeling well and later on, I didn't talk or saw her at all. Trust me aunt Monica, I'm worried as well." Vesper replied with a sympathetic look."Wait, what about cameras? They serve a purpose!" Monica came with a realization."Yes! How we didn't think about it earlier? Let's go and check." Vesper responded and they both went to where the laptop was. Vesper managed to have access to the footages but they couldn't see anything.Apparently cameras weren't working that day."Impossible! What kind of coincidence is this?" Monica said in frustation, rubbing her temples."Yeah, I know that's some sort of weird coincidence, but what if she just went somewhere? Perhaps she ran away?" Vesper suggested."Ran away? Why would Regan run away?" Monica's eyebrows furrowed."Aunt Monica, we both knew she was mentally unwell, she had told me how tired she was from home and from you too. Maybe Regan just needed some time alone or to try escape from her reality." Vesper said with a persuasive voice."No, Regan would never do this. I know her very well. Her phone is also here." Monica replied being sure that a runaway wasn't the case."But it makes sense, she probably didn't want any of us to contact her.""That's not possible Vesper! She isn't like that. I'm so done, I'm going to call the cops." Monica said.Vesper sighed, this woman was very stubborn.***Regan was feeling devastated and hopeless. She didn't cry anymore, even letting the tears, felt heavy. The hungry state had passed. All she wanted was to find a way to go back to her place. She still had hope in her heart even that when collecting all the facts considered true, made it nearly impossible. She sat on the comfortable bed with her knees on her face. If the girl hadn't been in this situation, she would have seen the chamber with another eye. She would have loved its subtle architecture and classy furnitures. But now, there was no time for that.A knock on the door was heard again and this time Regan didn't shift from her place. The same girl from earlier appeared and closed the door. She looked at the filled tray from earlier."Miss, how you haven't eaten already? If his lordship learns that, I'm going to get punished." The girl said with a scared voice."What kind of beings are you?" How do you speak English?" Regan asked, completely dodging the woman's words. As Regan saw her features more calculatedly, she thought that maybe she had exaggerated. Apart from the girl's scales, her other features were human-like."Miss, I will bring you other food to eat and this time eat or I'm going to be in big trouble." She said in her accent ignoring Regan's questions."Who cares? Bring whatever you want, I'm not going to eat something poisoned by Sirius." Regan said rolling her eyes boringly. The girl looked offended, "I cooked that myself. His lordship doesn't have anything to do with it.""Whose lordship?" Regan questioned herself. Firstly, she didn't care when the girl said "lord" because she thought it wasn't important, but which lord was she referring to?"Who is that lord you're ranting about? Sirius is your lord?" Regan asked confused. That man didn't have to be more than a sorcerer, right?"Yes, he is our lord and he won't be happy if he hears you talking like that." The girl replied looking at the ground."Do I look like I care?" Regan snapped angry. That girl really hit a nerve, "he is your lord, what it has to do with me? That's ridiculous! Now take that tray, throw it somewhere, and either tell your dear lord that I ate or not, it doesn't really matter to me." She stood up and handled the tray to the girl. The servant was displeased but took the tray and left, quickly closing the door
The girl took the tray and left, to her own dislike, she quickly closed the door.
"Lord? Really? He's a lord?" Regan said, smacking her forehead, "that's why he dresses like that?"She lay again in the bed, contemplating to find a plan or way out. Being hungry wasn't a problem, it wasn't a priority for her right now, but she was thirsty, her mouth dry, her throat sore.He was the reason of it after all. He had kidnapped her here without any purpose. She had nothing to do with these creatures."I can't stay here anymore," she said to herself, her eyes becoming teary. "I have to find a way out of here, no matter what the cost."The anger she had was turning unbearable. She had done nothing to deserve being held here. She had to face that guy again. But while thinking about it, was he wrong at all? He said that she was going to hate him more and more, and she really did.Regan wanted to leave and escape but why should he get away with all he was doing? Because of him, she was thought to be delusional, schizophrenic. He vividly tormented her mind and made her afraid of her own self without any reason.Yes, he has to pay for it, she thought. She wasn't some sort of foolish girl who was afraid of him. Even if it was hard, it was the opportunity to stand up for herself. He was mysterious and unreadable. He claimed to have strong powers, which Regan believed. She saw it with her own eyes. Having experienced so many paranormal things, it didn't look surreal anymore to witness witches and wizards.Although she didn't want to be afraid, she was. She was afraid of his powers, that they could be deadly and wipe off her existence. There was no one on her side. No one could help her and as always she had to help her own self alone.A knock on the door was heard and the same servant from earlier entered in with a tray."Why are you here again?" Regan asked frustrated."I brought you foods you eat on earth," she answered with her weird accent."Understandable. Now leave.""You are so rude," the servant stated with an annoying accent, as she left the tray on a near table.Regan wanted to snap back but she was tried of arguing. It wouldn't do her any good to argue with someone she had no idea who or what was."Is there day on that planet?" she suddenly asked when realizing the woman was still in the room."Yes. When the sun rises," the other replied.Regan didn't say anything, because all she would say was a dry sentence. The servant left on her own.She looked at the tray and saw spaghetti and a glass of water. Really? Food from earth? Where did they find that from? But again, even if she was thirsty and hungry, she didn't know if it was really water and really spaghetti. She didn't want to die if it was poisonous. She brought the glass of water to her nose, her hands shaking. She smelled it but surprisingly, it didn't smell bad or oddly. She did the same with the plate and they didn't smell oddly. They were just like on earth. But Regan thought that maybe it was a trap to fall on, the same way she fell for drinking that potion. Even though the spaghetti looked delicious, she backed away and made her mind that she wasn't going to eat. In fact, it shouldn't even be something to think about. She was kidnapped and it wasn't the right time to think for food. At the same time she was tired and wanted to sleep. But thinking about it, she thought it made her lazy and indifferent. She wasn't indifferent. She thought about her aunt, what would Monica be doing? Was she searching about her? How could she even find her?Regan cursed herself all over again for getting lied by a witch and falling for a wicked trap.Unknowingly, the girl reluctantly gave in to her exhaustion drifted into a deep slumber, despite her determination to stay awake.
