Chereads / Alpha and His Girls / Chapter 27 - Taylor White

Chapter 27 - Taylor White

"Ugh—" Ethan Wraith was a bit frustrated. Why were all women so fragile nowadays? She had only said a few words and she started crying. Looking at her elite white-collar attire, he thought she was a strong woman. "Stop crying, it's my fault, I shouldn't have spoken so loudly—you have to understand, men also have dignity. You were so rude to me from the start, like ordering around an animal, how could I not have an opinion?"

The young woman didn't respond, instead, she turned off the car and started crying in earnest.

"Okay, okay, big sister, I was wrong, I'm guilty, hit me-bite me if you want. Except for my mouth, I don't mind where you bite."

"Hey, why are you crying without any sound? It's not good to cry like that, you'll suffocate. If you have grievances, cry out loud—"

"Damn it, how can you use my clothes to wipe your tears, isn't there—even if there are no tissues, you can't bully me like this? You're wearing clothes too—"

"Alright, alright, you cry, I'm going home to sleep. Bye." Ethan waved his hand and opened the car door, about to get out.

"Don't go. I'm sorry about earlier, I just remembered some unhappy things." The beautiful woman tugged at his arm and pleaded in a low voice. Her tearful face with its delicate features was heart-wrenching. The frostiness on her face from earlier had instantly melted away.

Women really are fickle creatures, be careful.

"Okay. But you can't cry anymore—hmm, let me sing you a song."

"You can sing?" The beautiful woman's eyes suddenly lit up, like a star suddenly appearing in the tranquil summer night.

"Of course. I'm very professional, I was even the entertainment committee member in elementary school." Ethan said proudly.

"Wow, I was actually the entertainment committee member in elementary school too. What a coincidence." The beautiful woman finally broke into a smile through her tears.

"That's a coincidence? No wonder the last time I was walking on the street, a guy pointed at me and said—yeah, I'm a guy too, what a coincidence—"

The beautiful woman giggled at Ethan's words, lightly punched his arm, and said coquettishly, "Hurry up and sing, stop joking. Whose songs do you usually sing?"

"WonKing."

"WonKing?" The beautiful woman tried hard to search for the name in her mind. She still shook her head. "I don't know them."

"I don't know them either. But I just need to know their songs."

"That's true. Okay, sing a song by that WonKing, let me see what's so good about it."

"Okay. You're lucky today, I usually don't show off easily. Dear lady, may I ask your name?" Ethan cleared his throat and asked gently.

"Taylor White." The beautiful woman hesitated for a moment but still gave her real name. Then seeing that there was no change in Ethan's expression, she felt relieved.

Ethan was singing with emotion when he was interrupted by Taylor's giggling. He looked up and saw Taylor clutching her stomach with tears streaming down her face. Ethan became anxious. "Hey, are you still listening? If you're not listening, I'll stop singing, it's too disrespectful to the fruits of my labor."

Taylor wiped the tears from her face and calmed down for a while before saying with a smile, "I'm sorry. I tried my best to control myself—but you sang too—too cutely. I really couldn't help it—hehehe."

"Seriously?" Ethan waved his hand to signal her to stop. "Alright, now that you're not crying anymore, are we going to continue chasing, or are we going home? It's almost dawn."

"Can we still catch up? She's already out of sight. And I'm not familiar with this road." Taylor sighed softly.

Ethan thought for a moment and said with a smile, "We can catch up, but I don't know what price you're willing to pay?"

"Price? What do you want to do?" Taylor suddenly realized that she was alone in a car with a stranger, and in this desolate wilderness. She couldn't help but feel a little scared and asked in a trembling voice. She thought the price Ethan was referring to was her body or something like that.

"Oh, come on, I'm not interested in you. Give me ten thousand yuan, and I'll help you catch up with her." Ethan said nonchalantly. Honestly, do I look like a pervert? Besides peeking at Sophia Mercer taking a shower and my senior sister changing clothes, what else have I done?

"No deal. It's too expensive."

"Five thousand."

"No way. You might as well just rob me."

"Three thousand. Can't go any lower."

"..."

"I'd rather buy a handbag with three thousand yuan."

"Ugh—" Ethan Wraith extended his little finger and wiggled it. "One thousand. Take it or leave it."

"Deal." Taylor White immediately opened her wallet and counted out a thousand yuan to Ethan.

Ethan contentedly pocketed the money and said to Taylor, "Come over here."

"Why?"

"Give me the driver's seat."

"You can drive?" Taylor said doubtfully, but still crawled over from the front to Ethan's lap.

The space wasn't large, but both of them were quite slim, so they didn't need to get out of the car to switch seats. Ethan bent over and moved to the driver's seat. He accidentally brushed against the skin of Taylor's thigh, which was surprisingly smooth.

"I can even fly a plane." Ethan grinned. "Alright, beautiful, now let me show you what real racing is."

Taylor just assumed he was joking and didn't reply.

"You'd better fasten your seatbelt." Ethan kindly reminded her.

"You haven't fastened yours either."

"I don't need to."

"I don't need to either."

Ethan shrugged nonchalantly, "Anyway, I've warned you, don't blame me later."

As he spoke, his hands and feet were already moving rapidly. He started the car like a seasoned pro and slammed the gas pedal to the floor.

Whoosh, the car leaped forward. Then, with a sharp turn of the steering wheel, the car executed a clean drift and sped towards the mountain road on the left.

When Cloris reached the top of Mount in one go, the familiar azure Maserati was already parked there. That hateful woman was lying on the ground retching, and Ethan was beside her with a bottle of mineral water, helping her clean up.

"Humph, a racer who gets carsick." Cloris stomped her foot and angrily got into the car. She shouted at Ethan, "Don't lose my bracelet," then sped away.

On the mountaintop, only two lonely figures remained.

The gentleman Ethan Wraith and a beautiful woman with stunning looks and a sexy figure.
