I had a small smile on my face as I left Gringotts. Some of the items to be sold in the auction had been sold in the past days. Not all of them, especially the collectible coins; if they all appeared at once, it would cause the price to drop. Therefore, they would be sold piece by piece. Normally I wouldn't have to come to Gringotts for this. The problem could have been solved easily with a letter. However, I wanted to come in person because I wanted to invest in the shares of some companies both in the muggle world and in the magical world. For now, only nimbus and stark holding maybe other companies will be added in the future. It is a great chance that Gringotts can invest in companies in the muggle world. The main reasons are school shopping and of course escaping from the mansion. The past two weeks have been the hardest of my life. Me, Emily, Veronica and Nagini were living in the same house. It wasn't Veronica or Emily. Of course, Emily was being Emily, as usual. She was trying to provoke me at every opportunity. But it was nothing I couldn't handle.

It was Nagini. Maybe living as a python for so long had done something to her brain, but her lust was uncontrollable.

The first night she woke up earlier than we expected, so she watched us secretly until morning. I noticed him through our bond, though she thinks I didn't notice him. The problem was that his lust had not decreased since that day, and since she was not very skilled in occlumency, I could constantly feel her lust through the bond between us. Adding my adolescence to this, it became a complete torture. She also had the habit of walking around the house naked. When Dumbledore found her, she had completely lost her ability to turn into a human and had been a snake for at least the last year. So she's not very good with clothes.

Anyway, it's shopping time.

Firstly, I wandered around Diagon Alley to buy my classic school supplies.

25 August 1943

I woke up to a strange screaming and rattling sound coming from the bedside table. It was as if something was hitting a stone surface. When I opened my eyes with difficulty, I realised that the sound was coming from the egg. My eyes widened and I sat up. At the same moment, another scream came from the egg and the first egg shell fell. Then another and another and another until a little head reached out of the egg. As much as I wanted to help it hatch, I stopped myself. I knew that dragons had to hatch alone, and this was at least a third of a dragon. Eventually he managed to hatch, albeit with great difficulty. At first it even had difficulty standing up. Then it shook itself and straightened up and started to watch the surroundings with careful eyes. I was watching it too. In general, it looked like a dragon, its scales alternated between black and brown, and there were blue parts that looked like lightning. Its bright purple eyes were watching its surroundings with interest. On the top of its head were two protrusions that I think will turn into horns in the future. Its wings were more like eagle wings than the bat-like wings of dragons, and its tail ended in a pointed bone tip. After watching it for a while, I slowly reached out my hand towards it. When my hand came close to it, at first it flinched and backed away. When I realised that it was scared, I immediately stopped moving. After watching my hand for a while, it slowly sniffed it and when it realised that I was not dangerous, it slowly rubbed its head against my hand. As soon as its head touched my hand, I started to feel the bond between us. It was similar to the bond between Veronica and Nagini, but at the same time it was quite different. I took a deep breath and started to caress it. I played with the little puppy until the morning. The three of them would be dumbfounded to see me with a dragon on my lap in the morning.

Nagini 'I still haven't decided what I should be more surprised about, the acromantula hatchling or the dragon hatchling.'

Rubeus 'Firstly, they have names. Aragog and Ancalagon.'

Yeah, I named the dragon Ancalagon. I'm very creative, aren't I?

Meanwhile, the dragon and the acromantula in question were hugging my different legs and glaring at each other. Not to mention Faye, who knew that truly magical creatures could be so jealous.

I hope they get used to each other soon.

Veronica 'Don't bother being surprised, Rubeus sets the bar higher every time.'

Emily was just staring at me. So we had our normal breakfast.

Nagini said, 'By the way, when does Hogwarts start?'

Rubeus 'September 1st, as usual.'

Nagini 'There's very little time left.'

Rubeus 'Time certainly flies. I haven't even had a proper rest yet.'

Veronica said sarcastically, 'Whose fault is that?'

'I know, I know. I'll spend more time resting from now on.'

We continued talking and eating breakfast for a while.

20 June 1944

Emily and I were standing in the ritual room of the mansion, looking at each other. It was torture to convince her to do the ritual. Again, thanks to our determined persuasion efforts throughout the year and the fact that we often hung out together at the mansion even during Hogwarts, she was convinced. Nevertheless, I promised him that I would try to find a solution to the maledictus curse and that I would release her as soon as I found the solution.

A few minutes later everything was over and the bond was formed. Just then I heard a voice in my head.

Ancalagon 'Boss, you got another new mummy?'

I sighed in distress and mentally replied.

Rubeus said, 'How many times do I have to tell you? They're not your mums.'

Thanks to his mental link with me, Ancalagon was able to communicate with me mentally and at the same time sense other links in my mind. The problem is that he insists on calling them mum for obvious reasons.

Veronica and Nagini were waiting for us at the exit of the ritual room. Both Ancalagon and Aragog were no longer able to move around the mansion because they were bigger than a horse.

Veronica said, 'Is everything all right?'

Rubeus said, 'No, it's fine. Everything's fine.'

I knew she was worried about a repeat of her own ritual.

Nagini 'Then it's time to celebrate.'

I felt a chill run down my spine at the cold, emotionless voice behind me.

Emily 'I don't see anything to celebrate, just a lifetime of slavery, I'm going to go to my room and rest.'

Then she walked past us with the same callous demeanour.

Rubeus said, 'Looks like it's just the three of us.'

Ancalagon 'Boss, can I come with you?'

Rubeus, 'How many times do I have to tell you? You're too old to come in the house.'

Ancalagon had grown from the little dragon that was barely up to my knees to being bigger than a horse.

Besides, considering the end of such meetings, it might be better for him not to come.

After 20 minutes, I changed my clothes and went down to the lounge. I immediately went to the part we used as a bar in the corner and poured myself a glass of cream beer. Then I joined Nagini and Veronica, who were already sitting and chatting.

Nagini immediately turned towards me.

Nagini said, 'What are your plans for this summer? Are you going to do the other rituals you have planned?'

Veronica 'I'm still worried about that. Rituals are dangerous things. Maybe we should think about it some more.'

The rituals they were talking about were two other rituals I was planning to do this summer. One of the rituals will slow down or even stop my growth. I am already close to two and a half metres tall, the original Hagrid was almost three and a half metres. Considering how racist the magical world was, it didn't make much sense to walk around saying I was half-giant. The other ritual was to use Ancalagon's blood to give me a predisposition to thunder and lightning magic.

Ancalagon had apparently developed two different abilities instead of breathing fire like normal dragons due to its thunderbird side. The first is to throw balls of lightning, like the night fury in How to Train Your Dragon, and the other is to create and launch lightning and thunder from its wings like normal thunderbirds. This ritual, using Ancalagon's blood and the feathers and scales it sheds while growing, would make it easier for me to use lightning and thunder spells. This would be a great advantage, considering that this spell makes up a large part of the druid's armoury in the first place.

The problem was that these two rituals were quite dangerous as they would cause permanent changes to the body and magical energy.

Rubeus said, 'We've discussed this before, you know what's coming, we need both magical power and political and economic power.'

I told Veronica and Nagini what I knew about the future. Of course, I used the excuse of a prophetic dream instead of telling them that I had been reborn.

Veronica said, 'Is it still worth going this far?'

Rubeus ' A half-giant is between three metres and four metres tall. If I don't do the shortening ritual, anyone with eyes and mind will realise I'm a half-giant. Besides, we've already calculated everything, the ritual will only slow down my growth, it won't affect anything else.'

In the original story, Mrs Maxime never accepted her half-giant identity, and not only was she in France, which was less racist, but she was also the headmistress of Beauxbatons. So it would probably have been political suicide to reveal my half-giant status.

The ritual would only make me a tall man, which might be a problem if someone dug deep enough, but I'd worry about that then.

Rubeus said, 'Enough about that. This is a celebration and we're going to have fun, even if one of the heroes of the celebration isn't here.'

--------- Also elsewhere--------

Two men were walking along a narrow steep path. Both of their robes were patched and tattered.

Both of them had created a magic shield with their wands to resist the pouring rain. The larger figure walking in front spoke without turning round. 'Are you sure there is a treasure here?'

The younger and handsome figure behind him replied. 'I am sure. I discovered this place a few days ago, but I couldn't break through the barracks around it. With the two of us together, breaking through the barracks and guards will be a piece of cake.'

'I hope so, Marvalo, otherwise you don't want to know what I'm going to do to you.'

Marvalo 'I know, Vladimir.'

The two men continued climbing up the slope and eventually entered a cave. After walking inside the cave for a while, they entered a large hollow dome-shaped area. As they reached the centre of the dome, flames of an ominous blue colour suddenly burst into flame, illuminating the entire area and revealing five figures lined up along the sides of the wall.

Before Vladimir, who was leading the way, realised what had happened, he was struck from behind by a spell and fell to the ground, stunned.

With practised ease, the youth Marvalo took out a giant bronze cauldron and various ingredients from his moseskin pouch and began to prepare a potion. All the while, not a sound was heard from the figures waiting at the edges of the room. Their faces were covered. However, if Rubeus Hagrid were here. He would have discovered that the robes the mysterious figures wore and the staffs they carried were the same as the necromancer who had attacked them in the forest.

After the potion had been prepared, the young wizard Marvalo lifted Vladimir, who was still lying unconscious, with a flick of his wand and threw him into the potion cauldron.

As soon as Vladimir's skin touched the unknown potion in the cauldron, he woke up and started screaming. At the same time, Marvalo began to cast his spell, chanting unknown magic words.

Vladimir continued screaming and struggling to free himself from the cauldron, but the potion in the cauldron was sucking him in like a bottomless swamp.

Finally, after Vladimir was completely submerged, a few more bubbles appeared and Marvalo finished his spell.

For a tense moment of silence nothing happened, then Vladimir's body rose from the cauldron and revealed itself. There was no life in his eyes. Just empty eyes, like a dead fish.

The figures on the sides of the room approached the potion cauldron at this moment and began to scrutinise the being that had once been Vladimir. Finally one of the figures spoke.

'Tom Marvalo Riddle has earned the right to join this ancient brotherhood by creating his first inferi today. Now kneel.'

Riddle immediately did as he was asked and knelt. One of the mysterious figures spoke as he placed a robe he had magically summoned on Riddle's shoulder.

'You will now wear the robes of death.'

Another figure handed Riddle a staff similar to the one in his own hands, but less ornate.

'You will now carry the staff of death.'

Another handed him a jet black pouch.

'You will now march with the army of death.'

The last figure advanced and pressed a red-hot poker against Riddle's right hand. For a moment Riddle felt like screaming in pain, but at the last moment he stopped himself. When the iron was withdrawn, a scythe-shaped symbol was left behind.

'You will now bear the mark of death.'

It was the turn of the first speaking figure.

'Stand up apprentice Tom Marvalo Riddle, you are now a member of this ancient brotherhood that walks the path of death like us.'

As Riddle stood up, the mysterious figures opened their heads.

'Follow me apprentice Riddle, you will learn the craft of necromancy from me in the years to come.'

Riddle bowed. 'As you wish, Master Clayton.'

With a flick of his wrist, Riddle placed his newly created inferi in a pouch made especially to carry immortal beings, then followed his new master out of the cave.
