In the past few weeks I have received a few warnings from several readers that I have been going through various events too fast. from now on things will slow down a bit and I will talk more about Rubeus' daily life.
I apologise for the delay in the episode. The only thing I can say about it is that everyday life caught up with me and refused to let go. I'll try to fix it from now on.
I would be happy if you support me on my pa(tre)on account.

Rubeus Hagrid's point of view
I was wandering aimlessly around Hogwarts after my last NEWT exam. At the same time, I couldn't help feeling emotional. I had spent five years at this school since the day I was reborn. It had almost become like a home. I had spent more time at this school than I had spent at the Manor or Hagrid's old house, and it wasn't just a matter of time. There was an aura about Hogwarts that didn't exist elsewhere. It is hard to explain, thousands of students who had lived in the ancient castle for a thousand years had left their mark here. Ancient armours and golems that have been on guard for hundreds of years are watching the students. Countless paintings and portraits roam the school to share the latest gossip of the day.
I turned back with a familiar voice I heard behind me.
'Hey Rubeus.'
I couldn't help but smile when I saw John approaching me. I had made a few friends in the last five years, different from the old Hagrid and Alex, and John Fawley was one of them.
'What's up John, are you done with your exam?'
A tired smile formed on his face.
'Just finished and it was hard as hell.'
I couldn't help but agree with him. Our final exam was a practical charm test. We were expected to be able to permanently charm objects as well as some difficult charms. The most difficult part was adding more than one charm to an object with the magic wheel method. The problem was that one misstep could ruin everything and result in zero points for that part of the test.
'How are the others, I honestly expected this test to be easy for you.'
The Fawley family had a long tradition in charms and John's father and his father's brothers were all charm masters as far as I know, even his grandfather had been one.
'When I left the exam, none of them had taken it yet. The problem was not whether the exam was easy or difficult. I had a friend of my father's on my committee and my father's standards are tougher than those of the ministry or the guild.'
I don't know if this was the case in the original story, but not only was there more than one commission for the exam, but it consisted not only of ministry personnel, but also more than one representative from the relevant guilds.
'Good luck mate, if you fail, Mr Fawley will probably skin you.'
This prospect must have really frightened John as he turned white for a moment. But it was only for a moment. Then his face was again graced with that familiar mischievous smile.
'Enough about me or the exams. The exams are over and we can finally relax.'
Rubeus, 'Obviously, I'm gonna miss this school. Is the plan still on?'
'Of course, we're having a wild party at the Hogsmeade Three Broomsticks at the weekend. Rosmerta's spoken to her parents and we've raised the money so there won't be any problems. We've got the whole place to ourselves.'
And by 'plan' I mean a graduation party in Hogsmeade at the weekend. Even the most racist and arsehole purebloods would be there.
We walked around Hogwarts for a while, talking about exams and the party tomorrow.
Rubeus said, 'The others are probably done with their exams. Shall we go to the Great Hall?'
John 'Sure. I really wonder what they're doing.'
..............................…
When we entered the great hall, we saw the others sitting at the Ravenclaw table and joined them.
John said, 'How are things? Did everyone do well in their exams?'
Just then a Ravenclaw sitting a few metres away from us couldn't take it anymore and started crying.
John 'opps'
Unknown Ravenclaw 'At this rate, I'll only get an E.'
Anna Bones 'I'm gonna kill him.'
We could barely keep Anna in her seat. The Bones family had a talent for transfiguration. Another thing I've learnt recently is that the pureblood nonsense isn't a complete fabrication. A family that's been wizards for at least three generations is developing something called family magic. They are simply born with a stronger ability in the area of magic they are interested in. The problem is that their abilities in other areas of magic diminish. The Bones family specialised in transfiguration and various defence spells. This made it difficult for Anna to acquire amulets. The highest grade she could possibly dream of getting was an E.
John 'Calm down Anna, he's just a nerdy Ravenclaw.
These words were not very wise considering we were now sitting at the Ravenclaw table. This was evident from the number of stern looks John was getting from our table and the way Alexandra was clutching John's ear.
Rubeus 'Calm down Alexandra, it's just John talking without thinking.'
Alexandra 'Sometimes I don't know what I see in this bloke.'
Alexandra and John had been dating for a while and I heard that even their parents had heard about it and were in talks for an engagement.
Frankly, it was a bit of a surprise. John was a joker, who could never stay serious for long, while Alexandra was serious and disciplined. Although if anyone in this world could control John, it was Alexandra.
John 'My extraordinary good looks and charisma.'
Alexandra looked at John for a moment as if examining him and then said, 'No, I don't think so.' and struck the killing blow.
John grabbed his chest as if it hurt and collapsed on the table.
This scene caused more than one laughter from the table.
Rubeus 'How did you three do on the test?'
Arthur Carrow 'At best exceeded expectations, but probably acceptable.'
Alexandra 'Outstanding, anything less is unacceptable.'
Anna 'Same as Arthur.'
These results were not surprising considering their family magic.
The Crouch family was skilled in charms and wards. The Carrow family was skilled in the dark arts and alchemy.
John puffed out his chest and said, 'Kneel before this master, perhaps then I can enlighten you with my wisdom.'
Anna said, 'So you are a wise master, then you won't mind if I ask you a few questions about transfiguration.'
This seemed to take all the air out of John. He himself would probably be a high grade even Acceptable when it came to Transfiguration. It was all about his mindset. John was far from the rigid and stable state of mind necessary for transfiguration.
Arthur 'How's yours, Rubeus?'
John 'I don't think you even have to ask. It's probably outstanding.
Rubeus 'Good guess.'
Anna 'You bloody freak, that way you'll probably get outstanding in every field you've ever bothered to study.'
Alexandra 'So what are you gonna do after you graduate?'
Rubeus 'First I'm going to take as many apprenticeship exams as I can this summer, I'm planning to take apprenticeships with the Hunter's Guild and the Care of Magical Beasts Guild, then I'm planning to go on a world tour.'
Wizards were usually divided into several levels.
Learner, OWL, NEWT, apprentice, master and archmage. Among these, the apprentice level was quite vague. You did not necessarily have to apprentice with someone to get to this level. A certificate from the relevant guild was enough. Normally, by law, a master could not hire anyone as a student before passing the apprenticeship exam. Again, many masters prefer to hire students earlier and then train them themselves. Of course, it takes some connections to become an apprentice with this method.
John said, 'Travelling the world. You want to fulfil my old tradition.'
The tradition John was talking about used to be a very popular practice. It was a process in which Hogwarts students left magical Britain for at least a year or two after graduation to travel the world and experience various magical cultures. This tradition started to lose its popularity in the 1900s for various reasons.
Rubeus said, 'It can take more than a year or two. I want to go to every magical creature reserve and wildlife sanctuary in the world.'
This is why the apprenticeship from the Hunter's Guild and the apprenticeship from the Guild for the Study of Magical Creatures were necessary. Without these two documents, entry to many magical areas was forbidden.
Magical creature reserves and magical danger zones are different. In magical creature reserves, the area is controlled to a certain extent. They are usually run by specialists and are largely responsible for the magical supply of the magical world.
Magical danger zones are basically wilderness. Hunters roam the area, hunting magical creatures and focusing on other tasks in the magical world. They can also be hired by various governments to assist Aurors if necessary. The inner and central regions of the forbidden forest are examples of this group.
Alexandra ' From what I've heard from my family, this will be difficult. Even though the war is over, the world is still feeling the effects. International travel has become very difficult.'
Rubeus 'I realise that, so I'm going to ask some professors to write letters of reference for me. If Dumbledore decides to write one, it will make my job much easier.'
Although Dumbledore was not yet the head of the LCW, his prestige had skyrocketed after defeating Grindelwald. A letter of reference from him would solve many problems. Even if Dumbledore didn't write a reference letter, a reference letter from Hogwarts professors would be very useful. After all, Hogwarts was one of the eleven best magic schools in the world. Its professors were very prestigious.
Arthur ' Dumbledore's letter solved many problems, but it could also create new ones. At least the ministries of magic that supported Grindelwald at the time could create a lot of problems for you.'
I replied with a nonchalant shrug.
Rubeus 'I can't make everyone happy.'
We talked about our future plans for a while longer.
