10 July 1943

I'd left Emily and Veronica alone in the restaurant. I'm sure mother and daughter have something special to share after a long time. In the meantime, I took a stroll along Diagon Alley, and after a while my feet took me to muggle London. There was only one thing I could say about the current London. It's a pile of shit. The second world war was still going on and all hope was gone from people's hearts. On their faces there was only despair for the future and the tension and anger of the struggle for survival. Not to mention the ruins of the Blitz and everything else. No wonder Riddle didn't want to return to the muggle world during the summer holidays, the difference between magical Britain and the muggle world was so great that it was hard to believe. Magical Britain was almost unaffected by the Second World War, except for some unfortunate wizards who died during the blitz.

The war against Grindelwald in Europe was unattended except for some volunteer wizards who joined the ICW, so the effects of the war were minimal. The Muggle side was in complete ruins.

I couldn't help sighing in distress when I thought of Riddle, I hadn't heard anything about him in the past months, he had probably left the islands and Britain. Thank goodness he hadn't had a chance to stop by the Room of Requirement on his way. Unfortunately, the second thing I realised was that the books in the supply room contained information about horcruxes. So he was probably going to make a horcrux again, and this time he was probably going to make completely different horcruxes than the last time. This was going to be quite annoying. One misstep had ruined so many things.

As I was walking around London, I noticed something with my magical senses that I hadn't noticed before. I felt a different energy that I had never felt before. Thanks to Veronica, I was able to feel not only my own magical energy but also other energies from the spells cast around me. The training was hell though.

Although the energy I felt resembled the energy of nature, there were differences. I had never felt such an energy before, so I walked towards the place where I felt the energy in curiosity. What I came across was a large building made of white marble that looked immaculate in contrast to its surroundings. From the reaction of the surrounding muggles, I understood that the energy was some kind of magic that hid that building from the muggles. I got a little closer in curiosity and just as I was about to touch the energy shield, I jumped in my seat with a voice coming from behind me.

'I wouldn't do that if I were you, wizard mate.'

When I turned around, I was greeted by a man who looked to be in his thirties. At first glance, I couldn't sense any magical energy in his body, but then I noticed the energy that formed the shield in him.

Rubeus said, 'May I know where this place is? I've never felt this kind of energy before.'

The man replied with a small smile. 'Of course you can find out. This is the London sanctuary of Kamar-taj.'

Rubeus said, 'Kamar-taj? I've never heard of it.'

Of course I had heard of it. Everyone who was interested in magic and fantastic literature in my previous life had heard of it, but I couldn't tell him that, could I?

'You can see us as people who use a different kind of magic than the ones used by magicians. Oh, by the way, how rude of me not to introduce myself. I am Edward Cliff, master of the London temple of Kamar-taj.'

I nodded my head as if to indicate that I understood and then replied, "I'm Rubeus Hagrid, is there any chance of me learning this different form of magic?"

The man gave me a sad smile and then continued. 'Unfortunately, my young friend. Until you graduate from Hogwarts, you will not be able to join the Kamar-taj. If you wish to join us after that, we will consider it then. Farewell, young druid.'

Then he passed by me and entered the London sanctuary. Then, as if my movements were automated, I went to the cracked cauldron and used the fireplace there to get home. I only came to my senses when I sat down on one of the kitchen chairs.

I'm at bloody Marvel. This realisation came as a shock. I didn't know what to do now. Harry Potter and Marvel were on very different levels. Voldemort, the biggest danger I would face in Harry Potter, would probably be one of the lesser villains in Marvel. I thought for a moment about my knowledge of Marvel, which was pathetic, I knew almost nothing about comics except for the MCU and some of the x-men films, though if we stuck to the original plot I wouldn't have to deal with the Marvel side of things for many years to come.

After I finished thinking about the events, I thought about Marvel's magic system. It would unlock so many new possibilities. I've been a bit of a nerd about magic since I came to this world, maybe I should talk to Radagian about it, I'm sure he'd have some information about it.

I immediately went to the library of the mansion and confronted Radagian. The old man did not like his portrait to stay in the same place for a long time. That's why we were constantly moving it around. The last time I left it in the library. When I came in, he must have noticed my excited state and asked curiously.

Radagian 'Is there a problem?'

Rubeus 'I don't think there's a problem, I just discovered something new in London today and I wondered if you knew anything about it.'

Radagian spoke impatiently. 'Spit it out.'

Rubeus "Kamar-taj." That one word was enough for Radagian to understand.

'A group of magic users who use a different type of magic than magicians call themselves masters of the mystical arts and claim to protect the world from attacks from other dimensions and universes.'

Rubeus 'I wonder if I can learn their style of magic.'

Radagian 'I've always liked your hunger for magic, but no you can't.'

Rubeus 'But why?'

Radagian 'As you know, magic in general is the control of various energies. Although they don't teach this at Hogwarts, these energies are divided into three. Personal energies are the energies produced from one's body and life force. The magical energy used by wizards is in this category. The second is to use the universal energies directly around us. The third is to use energies coming from other dimensions. Now, there are different reasons why you cannot use these, let's start with personal energies. Let me give an example with chi, which is another type of energy, using this type of energy will give you a stronger body, faster healing and a long life. It sounds good at first, but you can also get all of these with enough effort with magical energy. It is the same with other personal energies, so it is better to improve yourself in that field of magic than to train in a new type of energy from scratch. Remember that magical energy is one of the most versatile forms of energy, there is almost nothing you can't do with it. Elemental magic, transfiguration, amulets, alchemy, etc... is that all right?'

I nodded as if to indicate that I understood, and Radagian continued his speech.

Radagian said, 'As for universal energies, the reason why you cannot use it is related to the creation process of magical energy; unlike other types of personal energy, magical energy is not created directly from life force. Our body absorbs the universal energy coming from outside and blends it with our life force and creates it in this way. Also the leyline nodes release magical energy into the world. Anyway, in short, our body starts to transform universal energy into magical energy as soon as we inhale it. This process cannot be interrupted by force. That's why we can't use universal energy. Is there a problem?'

Rubeus 'No, go on.'

Radagian 'As for the energy coming from other dimensions or superior beings, there are several reasons for this, but the main issue is something called energy contamination.'

Rubeus 'Energy contamination?'

Radagian 'What you need to understand is that when you use this type of magic, you receive energy from other dimensions and beings. The energy of these beings and dimensions starts to contaminate and taint your own energy, and over time it transforms your magical energy. In the best case scenario, for example, if you frequently use the icy energy of the Inkhaton dimension, over time you will only be able to use ice magic even when using your own magical energy. In the worst case scenario, you will never be able to use your magical energy again.'

This raised some questions in my mind.

Rubeus said, 'So why doesn't this thing we call energy pollution happen to us druids? Shouldn't the energy of nature pollute our energy?'

Radagian said, 'This phenomenon does not happen because of the very simple voxnaturae. For thousands of years, countless magicians have tried to find a cure for energy contamination, but no one has been able to do what voxnaturae alone has done. According to some, this was the most amazing feature of voxnaturae.'

This news was incredibly demoralising. A new world of magic had officially opened in front of me, but I could not enter it.

Radagian said, 'Don't be so disappointed, druid magic and wizard magic alone are so complex and deep that even if you devote your whole life to it, you cannot discover it all. I think it is better not to distract you.'

I nodded as if I understood, but this alone was not enough to lift my spirits.

After this conversation, I spent time at the cabin until the evening. In the evening, I had another meeting with Emily and Veronica.

Emily and I were sitting on opposite sides of the kitchen table, staring at each other. I had never seen a more unbearable person in my life. How could a person's every move and sentence be so annoying.

Anyway, a magic contract was placed on the table between us. Veronica was watching us from the side. The contract was actually quite simple. Even if Emily didn't bond with me, she couldn't tell anyone else anything about Radagian's legacy or any of my other secrets. Even though she was almost certainly going to do the ritual with me, I didn't want to take any risks with the pocket size, etc. Even Veronica understood that, but Emily kept insisting on it. I had already signed the contract.

Rubeus said, 'Tell you what, do what you want, I'm going to my room.'

After a while, after I felt the magic contract had been ratified, I finally went downstairs to the kitchen and took Veronica and Emily to the pocket dimension.
