Priscilla sat behind her computer, her glasses sitted perfectly at the bridge of her nose, a cup of coffee right next to her computer which she occasionally pick up and drink out of. However she realized that her coffee had gone cold as she tried to drink out of it and she winced at the taste.
She set it back down, reminding herself that she would make another one later, currently she was busy doing research on something, when her phone made a beep, notifying her that she has a message.
She picked up her phone and looked through the text, at first she didn't know what she was looking at till she looked again the second time. 'Anna Maple is dead'. That was all what the message read, Priscilla removed her glasses and gently placed it on top the table, she rubbed the bridge of her nose and took in a very necessary deep breath.
She dropped her phone and put her glasses back on her face, she removed the tab that she was on in her computer and opened her notes app, she then began typing away. She was about to publish the death of Anna Maple on her small time blog that average about a thousand readers for each blog she posts, when she stopped. Her hands hovering over the keyboard, the stillness of everywhere sent a chill up her spine.
There was this cold in the air that made goosebumps erupt on her skin, she exhaled and saw mist come out of her lips.
She could have sworn that it was a bit warmer minutes ago. She then decided that it wasn't anything important, she went back to typing.
By the time she was done typing, she proofread it to make sure there was no grammatical errors and then click send.
Within the first few minutes she gathered up over 300 viewers, a smile spread across her face. Comments came in a frenzy. Ah yes, this was what she lived for.

Maria stepped inside her police division and was greeted by her fellow coworkers, which she greeted back as well.
She headed to the coffee maker and made her usual sweet coffee that had sugar and cream in it. She took a sip and let out a satisfactory smack of her lips, there was a lining of cream on the top part of her mouth that she used her tongue to wipe off.
She managed to finish her coffee within minutes, the coffee managed to open her eyes, last night while she was at Micael and Adrianne place she woke up in the middle of the night, and found it very difficult to shut her eyes.
As soon as she stood from the bed, she drove down to her apartment, she didn't even bother to tell the residents of the house goodbye. Got inside her apartment, took a shower, dressed in her work clothes, and headed straight down to her work.
Did she forget to mention that she tied her hair into a very, very, messy bun. She can't for the life of her do her own hair by herself, it was always Jeffery that do her hair for her, and now he is gone and she left with no choice but to do messy buns and ponytails that would get rough the next minute.
As she made a walk towards the direction of where her office is, she stopped at Anna's office. The door was opened ajar and inside was filled to the brim with flowers, messages. A portrait of her smiling was situated on the table, Maria made a mental note to also write a message and place a flower in her office as well.
As she went ahead to her office to work till she was fatigued. She was suddenly stopped by Chief Sanders, a tall imposing woman that was of African Heritage.
"Maria! You are just the woman I was looking for." She said which caused Maria face to contort into one of confusion.
"What seems to be the problem ma'am?"
"Its nothing serious, just need to talk to you about something, that's all. Would mind following me my office."

They entered the her office which was just like every other office at the police department. She pointed at the visitor seat for her to settle down in.
She did as she was told. Maria couldn't help but wonder what could have been the problem and why did the chief suddenly called her.
"Relax Maria, you don't need to panic. Its not like I am going to devour you or something," she said with a small chuckle. "Like I said earlier, I just want to have a conversation with you."
"First off before I begin, I want to share my deep condolences to you about Maria. I know that the both of you had a very nice connection with each other and it's sad that she suddenly died so soon." After saying this she cleared her throat, lean into her chair a bit, and the said, "Do you remember about a month ago you came to show me some findings you made, about the existence of werewolves?"
Maria slowly nodded her head, wondering where this conversation was heading too.
"And then suddenly Anna died a month later. Do you think that there is some sort of connection?"
Maria blinked, opening her mouth to speak and then close it back. Considering all the things she had discovered over the past one month, she felt like she probably shouldn't even tell her about the things she have discovered.
She shook her head, afraid that if she speaks she would babble the whole thing to her without restraint.
"I see, well you may go on about your day now." Chief Sanders said dismissing her.
Maria stood up and walked out of the office, closing the door behind her. She straightened her clothes a little bit, and then decided to once again head on to her office. Which was like a safe haven to her.
As she walked towards the her office, she couldn't help but think that her being quiet was one of the best idea she had ever had.
