At this moment, Andrew felt immense relief.
After all the frustration that he endured for dozens of minutes, stalking the enemy Sniper Mech all the way from the battlefield where the 2 gangs clashed to the Gazzel's compound, and all the way here, he would have been devastated if he ended up with nothing.
Seeing that his efforts were not for naught, he felt immense joy and security in his heart, he also felt a sense of validation.
At some point in his plan, Andrew already had second thoughts.
Who was he to compare himself with the great Sherlock Holmes?
All his life in both worlds, Andrew was never the smartest in the room. During his planning to become a detective, at times, he already doubted himself, wanting to take the easy way out and let the Sergeant do it like he said he would.
One thing kept him going though…, the excitement.
