Len, who had always thought of his mother as an angel, found it hard to accept the truth that his mother had actually lied about Paula in order to get her banished from the family.
It was unbelievable to Len that he had harbored such deep animosity toward her for years, to the point where he was forced to avoid the house that reminded him of their marriage.
Now that the truth was out, he detested both himself and the fact that, when Isak had asked him to look into the video, he had disregarded his advice.
He would have hated Paula forever if she had not come back.
"Sir, these are the documents you asked me for," Isak said, jolting Len out of his reverie. "And these are what I could find about Miss Paula, but I could not find some of them."
Len immediately grabbed the files containing Paula's information. He flipped through the pages and finally stopped when he found what he was looking for.
