''DAMN IT ALL!'' Anna screamed, unable to get up from the ground. ''DAMN IT!''
''Stop screaming, child. We don't want any attention right now.'' Abaddon said. ''Shut up! Just shut up!'' Anna screamed at Abbadon. ''You don't know how much it hurts!''
''It's your second time losing an arm, don't act like a baby.'' Abbadon said, ordering Anna to be quiet. ''It's not about the arm. It's about Marie.'' Anna said, her voice barely a whisper.
''Do you feel guilty for not saving her?'' Abbadon asked. ''Of course I feel guilty!''
''You're aware of the fact that it wasn't your fault, no? Abbadon asked. ''I know that. I know I was incapable of saving her.'' Anna admitted. ''But I still feel like I could have done something to stop that angel from taking Marie.''
''You were on the verge of death, the most you could have done was to die in front of your sister.'' Abbadon said, his voice colder than usual. ''Do you think dying like an idiot and traumatizing your sister would have been the better choice?''
Anna didn't answer. She rolled to a more comfortable spot on the ground and closed her eyes.
''I'm going to sleep.'' She said. ''Wake me up if something happens.''
''Avoid the question all you want, both of us know you couldn't have done a thing.'' Abbadon said, watching Anna as she drifted off to sleep. He remembered the time he was alive and the things he used to see. The thoughts of war and violence made him sigh internally, but then he remembered something else- the sunrise.
The sunrise was the only good thing after every battle and tragedy. It was a sign that he was still alive and lucky enough to live another day. Abbadon sat back on the stone throne in Anna's mind and watched the memories of the girl.
He saw many things- memories of laughter and joy, moments of love and friendship, but also the darker moments of pain and loss, the death of Anna's parents being the clearest memory she had. Abbadon looked at memories of Anna's mother and father, seeing just how blurry they were in Anna's head, almost as if she was trying to forget them. He saw memories of Marie, which were clearer than most of what he had previously seen. He saw the first day of Anna taking care of Marie after the death of their parents. The memory was a grey picture, just clear enough to make out Anna and Marie's faces but nothing other than that. Abbadon had seen many battles, witnessed countless tragedies, and experienced his fair share of loss. But there was something about Anna's pain that struck a chord within him.
''I see.'' Was the only thing Abbadon could say. He never had a family to care for, his angelic brethren were nothing to him. He never cared about their devotion to Chaos, nor their factions and ''families.'' He only care about himself, and that was what helped him survive hundreds of thousands of years of war and anarchy. After fifteen thousand years of angelic war, Abbadon was victorious. The angels decided that they should make peace with one another and avoid starting another war. Abbadon knew that the others were monsters just like him, but they were hiding it well. He knew that they were going to betray and overthrow him one day, but he didn't care back then. He thought of it as an excuse to fight more.
That was what he thought during his last moments too. The other angels had defeated him with their combined armies and tried to sacrifice him to bring Chaos back to life.
Abbadon's eyes narrowed as he recalled the bitter taste of defeat, the sting of betrayal lingering like a phantom pain. He stopped thinking about his past he couldn't help but feel a pang of empathy for Anna and her struggles. Despite their differences, he saw a kindred spirit in her—a survivor. As Abbadon was thinking about that, he felt danger close to Anna. He stopped healing her and took control of her left arm and right eye.
As he opened his eye, Abbadon saw the face of a man staring right back at him. The man was disheveled, his beard was wild and unkempt, and his wide eyes held a glint of madness. When he realised that the girl had seemingly woken up, he grinned, showing his crooked yellow teeth.
''When did he come here? Why did I sense him just now?'' Abbadon's thoughts raced through his mind.
Abbadon could feel the stench coming from this bastard, a foul odor that seemed to permeate the very air around them. Abbadon tried to wake Anna up, but to no avail. She was sleeping like a log.
''Damn it! She won't wake up.'' Abbadon cursed. He tried to take control of Anna's entire body, but he was too weak to do so. Abbadon could only watch as the disgusting bastard got closer and closer, his face being the stuff of nightmares.
Abbadon lost conrol of Anna's arm, but he still remained in her eye. He could see the bastard doing things that could make an angel of destruction like him feel afraid. When the bastard tried to remove Anna's clothes, Abbadon felt a rage he hadn't felt in more than two hundred thousand years. He grabbed the bastard's hand and threw him several feet away.
''JUST WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING, YOU FILTHY BASTARD?!'' Abbadon screamed, his rage summoning his dagger.
''The spell wore off? Well that's a shame, I wanted to keep your body intact.'' The bastard said, his voice dripping with malice as he scrambled to his feet, a sinister grin spreading across his face.
''You will leave this realm in pieces, wizard.'' Abbadon said and spread his flaming wings.
''Don't threaten me with that voice of yours. It only makes me want to attack you more. The wizard said and grinned.
(OST- Madness Envenom- Brandon Yates)
The wizard quickly ran towards Abbadon with a grin on his face. The angel of destruction swung his dagger at the wizard in an attempt to decapitate him, but the wizard dodged the attack and threw a kick at Abbadon. Abbadon prepared to block the attack, but he felt the aura of the attack and dodged instead. Abbadon felt the traces of the wizard's aura disappear when his attack missed, they felt like hundreds of snakes trying to bite at him.
''This guy has a nasty aura. I should avoid physical contact as much as I can.'' Abbadon muttered. He took his eyes off the wizard for a single moment, and when he looked up, the man was in front of him again. The wizard threw another one of his nasty magic kicks, forcing Abbadon to dodge backwards. Abbadon realised that he couldn't engage in close combat with the wizard anymore so he flew high into the sky. The wizard grinned at the sight of the flying angel and threw another kick, sending a green fireball at Abbadon.
''Ranged magic? I should be able to dodge it.'' Abbadon muttered and flew out of the way. Suddenly the fireball curved to the left and started chasing him. Abbadon slashed the fireball with his dagger and destroyed it. When he looked back at the wizard, he was gone. Abbadon used his right eye to scan the area and found the wizard right behind him.
The wizard threw another kick at Abbadon, only for him to swing the dagger and slice the wizard's leg off. The wizard's entire body burst into green flames and the real one jumped out from behind Abbadon, kicking a few fireballs his way. Abbadon blocked the kick with his left arm and swatted the fireballs away with his wings. The wizard grinned and suddenly disappeared, his fireballs being in front of Abbadon again.
Abbadon preapred to destroy the flames, but he felt the wizard's nasty aura behind him and turned around to stop his attack. The fireballs hit Abbadon in the back and damaged his wings and the wizard impaled him with his hand, causing Abbadon adn the wizard to fall to the ground. The wizard's hand was poking out of Abbadon's back, the angel's heart still beating in it.
''It's a shame I had to kill you. You were a pretty girl.'' The wizard said with his awful voice before smashing Abbadon's heart. The wizard felt the blood of Abbadon stick to his hand. The blood felt gooey and warm, too warm even. Suddenly, the wizard found himself burning alive. Abbadon ripped through the sphere of flames and revealed his second blade- a curved black dagger.
''I must thank you, wizard. Your tricks reminded me of my own weapon of illusions and I decided to summon it. I didn't think I could pull it off in this body but it turns out I can do it, even though it's for a second. Not that it matters, you can't hear me over the illusion of flames burning your brain to bits.'' Abbadon said as the black dagger vanished from sight.
''You're just as weak as all the other angels that came for me.'' The wizard laughed. He dispelled the illusion. The wizard tried to gouge out Abbadon's eyes, but the angel caught his hand. The wizard grinned and shot a blot of lightning at Abbadon, paralyzing him for long enough to cast another spell.
The wizard shot a spiral of magic at Abbadon, who barely managed to break out of the electric spell, and dodged out of the way. The spinning spiral spell turned into a vortex of snakes and attacked Abbadon from behind. Abbadon sensed the attack and dislocated his left arm to swing it behind him and used his right arm to fight the wizard in close combat.
The wizard's combos were hard to block and parry with one hand, considering that he was just as strong as Abbadon but had two hands to attack with. The wizard threw a punch at Abbadon's chest, but the angel blocked it with his leg and threw a punch at the wizard's throat. The wizard weaved out of the way and tried to poke Abbadon's eyes out again. When the attack failed, the wizard threw another kick, this time it was imbued with magic. Abbadon jumped backwards to avoid the kick, but now he was too close the snake vortex.
Abbadon fixed his bendy left arm and sliced the snakes with his flaming dagger. The wizard used that as a distraction to chop Abbadon's neck, but he sensed it and dodged. The wizard, however, used his magic on the air that his hand traveled through to make an explosion. The explosion hit Abbadon and sent him flying. Abbadon scanned the area around him and landed on a big rock.
''This guy still has the upperhand on me. I have to destroy something big to overpower him.'' Abbadon muttered, his right eye scanning the area around him. Suddenly, a dragon of purple flames burst through the ground. Abbadon could see the strings of magic controlling the dragon's body and he could feel the wizard's nasty aura all over the place. The dragon attacked Abbadon, breathing purple fire towards the angel.
Abbadon sent a wave of fire to stop the dragon's fire breath. The purple flames clashed with the angel's fire and started oushing them back. Abbadon shot a few fireballs to feed his flame and push the dragon's flame back. The dragon's fire was starting to get consumed by Abbadon's fire until the dragon spat a giant purple fireball through the clashing flames, consuming them. The giant fireball flew directly towards Abbadon, it's flames destroying the ground underneath it.
''BRING IT ON!'' Abbadon screamed and threw his dagger at the fireball. The dagger clashed against the fireball and started slowing it down. ''Spin, Crimson!'' Abbadon commanded and dagger started spinning like a buzzsaw. With its spinning, the dagger started pushing the fireball back towards the dragon.
The wizard saw that and pulled the strings on the dragon, forcing it to shoot another giant fireball at Abbadon. The new fireball colided with the old one, making a giant 60 meter tall fireball. Abbadon's eyes widened in shock at the sight of this giant fireball, which dwarfed the one he was barely pushing back.
"Return, Crimson!'' Abbadon comanded and the dagger flew back to his hand. Abbadon spread his damaged wings and tried to fly, but they hadn't healed enough to lift him. ''Damn it! The only time I have to run away, and my damn wings can't even fly!'' Abbadon complained. He saw the giant fireball fly directly towards him, destroying everything in its path. He sighed and plucked out a few feathers from his wings and wrapped them around Anna's face and arms. Abbadon covered covered himself in his wings and waited for the fireball to hit.
''Sorry Anna, I wasn't strong enough to win this one.'' Abbadon said and faded back into Anna's mind. Abbadon sat back on his throne and closed his eyes. His body disappeared and the throne fell to the ground.

Anna opened her eyes, only to see darkness. She heard a loud bang and her body felt a wave of heat pass by her. When everything calmed down, Anna removed the feathers on her face. She looked around, seeing the charred crater she stood in. There were no fields, no trees, nothing to recognize. Anna didn't recognize the place she was standing in was previously the forest she fought Rosalie in. Even the hills were destroyed. She walked around the charred ground , trying to find where the crater ended.
''My feet are burning, I should run faster to get out of here.'' Anna said and started running. She prepared to fly away and jumped into the air. Anna tried to spread her wings and fly, but she fell to the ground and hit her face into the ground. Anna got up and touche her back. She looked and her hand, which was now covered in charcoal. Her eyes widened in shock when she realised that her wings were destroyed. ''What happened while I was asleep?'' Anna muttered. She looked around and saw that the charred path was getting smaller. She climbed out of the crater and followed along the path of destruction. She walked on the grass, which was now dry and brown, but it still better than walking on hot charcoal. After two minutes, Anna found the source of all that destruction, the purple dragon. The dragon was sleeping on the ground, it's flaming body was wrapped up in green strings of magic. The strings lead to a sleeping wizard who looked familiar to Anna.
''I should stay away from these guys, they're dangerous.'' Anna muttered and hid behind a tree. She snuck around, getting farther bit by bit. Anna spent ten minutes moving stealthily until she was far away from the dragon and wizard. She let out a sigh of relief and slumped against a tree.

''Phew, I did it. Now it's time for training.'' Anna said and grabbed a small rock. She carved through the rock with her dagger until it was turned into dust. She grabbed the next rock and craved it to dust. ''Just a few hundred more and I'll be a bit stronger.'' Anna muttered and grabbed the next rock. She carved it to little pieces and grabbed the next one. ''Abbadon? Are you awake?'' Anna asked as she carved the rock. After she turned it into little pieves she asked again. ''Are you there?'' No answer. She grabbed the next rock and turned it into pieces. ''Are you asleep? I didn't know angels could sleep.'' She said and walked around to find another rock. After a few minutes of searching she found a few rocks and sat under another tree. ''Are you upset because I slept for too long? Because if that's your reason for ignoring me, I'd be...'' Anna didn't finish her thought and focused on the rocks instead. She carved them to bits and got up to find some more.
''I haven't slept like that in so long, I don't think Marie was born yet.'' Anna said and picked up the last small rock. She gripped it tightly and tried to crush it in her hand but failed. She destroyed the rock with her dagger and kept walking around to find her next target. ''I hope you're not just ignoring me, Abbadon. I don't want to be left alone with my thoughts.'' Anna said. She walked over to a big rock and decided that was going to be her next target. ''I figured you had a fight with someone while I was asleep, I woke up in a mile long crater after all.'' Anna said and slashed the rock. Her dagger bounced off the rock but Anna just continued slashing it. "I hope you're alright and not dead. I don't think I can save Marie without your help.'' Anna said and slashed the rock again.
''Wait, how would you be dead if I'm still here?'' Anna asked and contined slashing the rock. ''Unless you gave up that piece of your soul to revive me.'' Anna mittered. ''That would be both very sad and really sweet.'' Anna contined. ''Mostly sad though, I don't really have friends or anything like that. After mom died I had no other choice but to raise Marie.'' Anna contunued. ''I don't think I had a moment to live for myself for the last six years.'' Anna said and started slashing harder. ''I love Marie but the last six years of my life were just me taking care of her and that took a lot of me.'' Anna said.
''To be honest, I'm glad I'm alone right now. No one is here to bother me, no one is here to waste my time with stupid things. 'Anna, Anna, please make me food!' Damn it, girl! You're eight, you've seen me cook so you should know how to!'' Anna kept rambling and slashing the rock. The rock was startting to crack and crumble, each attack was taking a small piece of it.
''Stupid little brat! I hate her! I should've left her in the house when Zadkiel attacked!'' Anna screamed and sliced the rock in half. She continued attacking it, taking off larger pieces with every attack.
''I should've killed her myself! Then I wouldn't have had to share my food with her!'' Anna screamed and slashed the rock with so much anger that she made a flame. The rock fell apart, but Anna continued attacking the rock until it turned to dust. Afterwards, Anna stopped and took a few deep breaths to calm down.
''What am I even talking about? I don't hate Marie, right?'' Anna asked. She looked around to find another rock but she couldn't find one. She walked around for a few minutes until she found another big rock. ''I shouldn't say things like that, I love Marie. I love her and I would do anything for her, right? Yes I would! I would do anything! No I wouldn't! I won't even go save her because she doesn't deserve it! She's useless! I hate her! I hate her I hate her I hate her I hate her! I hate her so much!'' Anna screamed and attacked the rock. Her blade bounced off on the first strike but she continued attacking anyway. After a few attacks, the blade fell out of Anna's hand.
''See? She's responsible for this!'' Anna screamed and punched the rock. Her fingers broke on impact but Anna punched the rock again. ''I will kill you! YOU DESERVE TO DIE!'' Anna punched the rock again and broke her other hnad's fingers. She punched the rock over and over until it started to crack. ''I should've done that a lot sooner! I should have done that back when you were a toddler!'' Anna screamed and punched a hole into the rock. She kept punching until it was destroyed.
''Phew, I really should've done that when mom died.'' Anna said and sat under the rock. She took a few deep breaths and started to calm down. Anna started crying and slammed her head in the ground.
''STOP MAKING ME SAY THINGS LIKE THAT! PLEASE! PLEASE JUST LET ME REST! PLEASE...'' Anna kept screaming. Her head started to bleed but she didn't stop hitting her head against the ground.
Abbadon sat sealed in his throne, watching helplessly as Anna lost her sanity. He couldn't move or even speak, only watch. He tried to break the seal but his body was refusing to move. He tried to scream but his mouth was sewn shut. He wanted to break the spell that the wizard put on Anna but he was unable to help himslef, let alone help Anna. Abbadon felt his consciousness fade away with each attempt to break free, his vision blurred and then darkened. The last thing he did before he faded away was to beg. His thoughts begged Apollyon to help Anna, but he knew Apollyon was dead. Abbadon begged his dead knight to save the dying Anna, almost as if he was trying to deny that he was helpless.

''You there! Stop whatever you're doing!'' Said the voice of some girl unfamiliar to Anna. She didn't look up to see the girl but she did stop banfing her head against the ground. The girl approached Anna and stopped right in front of her.
''Look at me.'' She said, her voice firm but not unkind. Anna looked up and saw the face and body that this voice belonged to. She was a petite young woman with light pink hair and brown eyes.
''Finally! I thought I would have to make you look at me!'' The girl said. Anna's eyes were glowing bright green, which disturbed the girl. ''I have bad news for you. Very very very bad news.'' She said and put her hand on Anna's shoulder.
''What is it?'' Anna asked. ''You're under some kind of spell. I don't know what exactly but I know that it is very strong.'' The girl said with worry. ''I think I can supress it for now but I can't promise that it will hold for long.'' She said. ''Thank you.'' Anna mumbled.
''Don't thank me yet, suicide girl, I haven't done anything. I'm Becca by the way.'' Becca said and bowed.
''How did you find me?'' Anna asked. ''Well It wasn't hard. You were screaming about killing someone and then you started crying so I decided to deal with you and whatever mental case you've got in your head.'' Becca said and put her hand on Anna's forehead to supress the magic.
''I don't think I'm a mental case.'' Anna said. ''You are, you just don't know it. Anyway the spell makes you doubt the things you say and it also makes you want to hurt yourself and others. Basically a spell that makes you insane.'' Becca said and took her hand off Anna's forehead. ''So I'm not insane and it's just the spell?'' Anna asked.
''Yes it's mostly the spell. The anger issues are all yours though.'' Becca said and got up. ''Where are you going?'' Anna asked. ''I'm going home, I don't want to run into a pack of crazy chucklefucks like you. I can deal with one person but a whole group is something else. The sun is setting so you should find somewhere to hide too. I don't want you to run into whatever made you crazy or other crazy people or people in general.'' Becca said and continued walking. ''I will to stay with you.'' Anna said.
''Is that a request?'' Becca asked. ''No I will stay with you for the night.'' Anna said. ''I will leave tomorrow morning.''
''No, not happening. I'm not letting you inside my house.'' Becca said and started walking faster. Anna started following her. Becca started running. Anna ran after her. Becca got to her house in time. Anna jumped through the open window.
''FUCK! I should've closed that before I went out!'' Becca cursed. Anna sniffed around and a small smile appeared on her face. ''Meat.'' She said. ''Wat?'' Becca replied. ''You have meat in here, don't you?'' Anna asked. ''Of course I have meat.'' Becca said.
''Give it to me. I'm hungry.'' Anna said. ''No, it's raw.'' Becca answered. ''Then let me cook it.'' Anna said. ''Fine, if it will get you to leave sooner.''
Becca gave the big piece of meat to Anna and the blue-haired girl started cooking. Becca sat down on her chair and started thinking about how she screwed up.
''Well I fucked up. I got too carried away with being a good person and it came back to bite me. Next time I won't help any crazy cute girls trying to kill themselves. I should've just stayed home today but noooooooooo I didn't! After she leaves I'll go live somewhere else! Yes I should do that.'' Becca muttered.
''Hey Becca, the food is ready.'' Anna said and gave Becca a piece of meat. Becca took the meat and took a bite of it. ''This is pretty good. You can cook.'' Becca said.
''I can cook, my mom taught me how to.'' Anna said. ''You have a mom? I expected you be an orphan.''Becca said and took another bite of her steak.
''She died a long time ago. I do have a sister though.'' Anna said and ate her entire steak in one bite.
''Where is your sister now?'' Becca asked, interested in Anna's story. ''She was taken away by angels.'' Anna said and ate her second steak. ''Angels as in the ones from stories or are we talking about your relatives who took her away?'' Becca asked and took another bite of her steak. ''The flying ones with the flaming wings.'' Anna answered and ate her thrid steak.
''So you're the bitch responsible for yesterday's weird event?'' Becca asked and finished her steak. ''Yeah I fought an angel and beat her but she took my sister and ran away.'' Anna said and started eating her fourth steak.
''So the sky turns dark every time an angel loses a fight?'' Becca asked. ''No. The sky turned dark because Chaos was revived. I'm stuck here and I have no idea how to get to my sister.'' Anna explained.
''So the end of the world will start soon?'' Becca asked. ''Yeah, when Chaos wakes up.'' Anna said and finished her fourth steak. ''And you want to save your sister before that starts?'' Becca asked.
''That's the plan, but I don't know how to get there. I'd love to ask Abbadon but he's gone so the only thing I can do now I destroy small things to get stronger.'' Anna said and grabbed a fifth steak. Becca grabbed her hand and looked into her eyes. ''You're not eating my last steak, it's mine.''
''Let's share it then.'' Anna suggested. ''No! You ate four steaks and I ate one! I will have it for myself.'' Becca said and took a bite off the steak. ''You can't have it, I already took a bite.'' Becca said and took another bite.
''What does that have to do with stopping me? I can just eat it.'' Anna said.
''You're not eating my steak, bitch.'' Becca said and took another bite of her steak.
''Okay, I'm not eating it.'' Anna said and made a sad face. ''Where am I going to sleep?'' Anna asked.
''On the floor.'' Becca cut her off and finished her steak. ''Why?'' Anna asked. ''Because I don't like you and I don't have another bed.'' Becca explained.
''We can share.'' Anna suggested. ''I'm not sharing a bed with you. You're too tall and you probably smell bad.'' Becca said. ''But I'm 5'9-'' ''AND I'M 5'3! I'm not sharing my bed with your big ass!'' Becca yelled. ''You will sleep on the floor.'' Becca said and calmed down.
''I'm sleeping with you whether you like it or not.'' Anna said. Becca sighed and pointed to a room. ''Wash yourself in there and we'll go to bed.'' Becca said. Anna nodded and got up from the table. She went to the bathroom and washed her hands and face. She came back and looked at Becca. ''Where is your bed?'' Anna asked, confused. ''Upstairs, there's one room, you can't miss it.'' Becca said and went to the bathroom. Anna went upstairs and opened the door. She looked around Becca's bedroom, which was completely empty, with the only thing inside being her bed. Anna sat down on the bed and waited for Becca to come.
''You're waiting for me?'' Becca asked. ''I expected you to just sleep without waiting.''
''It's your bed, I have to thank you and say goodnight first.'' Anna said. ''What in the child abuse does that mean?'' Becca asked. ''You don't have to wait for permission to sleep in my damn bed.'' Becca said. She then sighed and tucked herself under the blanket. ''Just sleep.''
Anna crawled under the blanket and lay down next to Becca, feeling the warmth of the bed enveloping her tired body. She closed her eyes, trying to push away the troubling thoughts that had been plaguing her mind. Despite Becca's brusque demeanor, Anna felt a sense of gratitude towards her for providing shelter and food. As she drifted into sleep, Anna couldn't help but wonder about the strange circumstances she found herself in. From battling angels to being ensnared in spells, her life had taken a surreal turn. And now, with the looming threat of Chaos and the uncertainty of her sister's fate, she knew that she was in for a journey worse than anything in the world.
But for now, in this fleeting moment of peace, Anna allowed herself to rest, hoping that tomorrow would bring clarity and perhaps, a glimmer of hope. With that thought in mind, she finally succumbed to sleep, her mind drifting away into dreams, however troubled they may be.

''Your knee is touching my ass. Move.'' Becca said. Anna sighed and turned to the other side. ''No wait, that feels weirder. Turn back.''
Anna complied, turning back to her original position, albeit with a slight grumble. "Better?" she asked, trying to adjust herself without making things more uncomfortable.
"Yeah, that's fine." Becca replied, her tone slightly softer than before. Anna settled back down, trying to ignore the proximity between them as she closed her eyes once more, willing herself to drift off into a deeper slumber.
''Anna! You're alive! I did it! I broke out of the seal!'' Abbadon said. ''Wait what the hell? Abbadon?!'' Anna squealed.
''Don't scream in my ear, you schizo fuck!'' Becca snapped, clearly annoyed at the intrusion.
"Sorry, sorry!" Anna whispered hastily, hoping Becca hadn't noticed her sudden reaction. "Just had a weird thought. Go back to sleep." She said and turned around.
''Ah fuck! You kicked me in the ribs!'' Becca screamed. "Oh gosh, I'm so sorry!" she exclaimed quietly, feeling embarrassed by her clumsiness. "I didn't mean to, are you okay?"
''I'm fine.'' Becca said. ''Just don't kick me again.''
''I'll try.'' Anna said. ''You're doing it again.'' Becca grumbled. Anna grabbed her and pushed her to the other side of the bed. ''Move a bit then, you're literally on top of me.''
''Oops, sorry. Your schizo freakout made me jump.'' Becca said.
''It's alright, neither of us expected it.'' Anna said. ''Anyway, let e sleep now.''
With that said, Anna closed her eyes and drifted away into the realm of the stone throne. She found the throne, empty and missing a few pieces, but she sat down on it anyway. She looked around for a few seconds and when Abbadon didn't show up she gotupfrom the throne and sat on the ground.
''I know you're alive so just show up already.'' Anna said. The dungeon burst into flames and the throne burned. Abbadon came out of the flames tht engukfed the throne and sat down, calming the inferno.
Anna was shocked to see this form of Abbadon, he looked the same way she did but with red eyes and burnt wings. Abbadon sighed and pointed at one of the walls of the dungeon, turning it into a giant gate with a demonic face on it. Anna looked at the red, horned face and took a few steps back, afraid of the demonic head on the gate. The eyes on the demon head opened, revealing their golden color. The demon then opened its mouth and revealed its sharp black teeth. The most bizarre part of the demon's form was the glowing red eye in its mouth.
''That's what sealed my body.'' Abbadon said. ''I fought a wizard who didn't belong to this realm and I had to use every bit of my remaining power to escape, which meant breaking the promise I made to all vessels of destruction.''
''What was your promise?'' Anna asked. Abbadon looked around for a bit and then looked back at her. ''I had promised to never take over their entire bodies.'' Abbadon said.
''Did we lose power?'' Anna asked, her voice a bit shaky. Abbadon nodded and got up from the throne. ''I lost a fair bit of power but it's nothing to worry about.''
''What do you mean? How is it nothing to worry about?'' Anna asked in frustration.
''You have grown enough to compensate for my loss of power. You're strong now.'' Abbadon said.
Anna's heart pounded as she absorbed Abbadon's words. The idea of compensating for such a powerful entity's loss of power was both exhilarating and terrifying. She couldn't deny the rush of pride at the thought of her own growth, but it was quickly overshadowed by the thought of the power of the other angels.
"But what does that mean for us now?" Anna asked, her mind racing with the implications of their changed dynamic.
''We have to be more cautious. I don't think we can overpower an angel yet. Unless...'' Abbadon's voice trailed off, his gaze distant as he contemplated their options. Anna leaned in, her curiosity piqued by the uncertainty in his tone.
"Unless what?" she pressed, her own thoughts racing to fill in the blanks.
"Unless we find a way to tap into a different source of power." Abbadon replied slowly, his expression thoughtful. "There are ancient rituals, forbidden knowledge hidden in the depths of the realms. We could seek out such secrets, but it would come with its own risks. We don't have the time for half of these methods."
''What's the fastest way to get stronger?'' Anna asked , her breath caught in her throat at the mention of forbidden knowledge.
''Cannibalism.'' Abbadon said.
Anna's eyes widened in shock at Abbadon's unexpected response. Cannibalism, even in the realm of forbidden knowledge, was a notion that sent shivers down her spine.
''Cannibalism?" she echoed, her voice barely above a whisper, as if afraid to give voice to the suggestion.
"In certain dark rituals, consuming the flesh or essence of another being can grant immense power. It is a path fraught with darkness and moral ambiguity, but it is undeniably effective." Abbadon said.
''Are you suggesting...'' Anna's voice trailed off. Abbadon nodded slowly and Anna's stomach churned with a sickening mix of horror and disbelief.
"But... but that's..." nna struggled to find the words, her mind reeling at the enormity of Abbadon's suggestion. ''That's unthinkable...'' Abbadon's expression remained impassive, his gaze piercing as he met Anna's horrified stare.
"In times of desperation, we are often forced to confront the darkest aspects of ourselves." Abbadon replied, his voice low and solemn. ''If you want to be stronger, you will have to eat that woman sleeping next to you.''
''I don't want to eat Becca! She's keeping the spell at bay.'' Anna pleaded, her voice tinged with desperation. "We can't... we can't resort to something so... monstrous! There has to be another way!''
"I wish there were." Abbadon murmured, his voice heavy with resignation. ''But the angels are too strong for you and now my experience fighting angels won't help us at all. Eat the woman to get stronger. I will deal with your spell.''
''I...I can't do it," Anna whispered, her voice barely audible over the pounding of her own heart. "I won't sacrifice someone else for my own gain. ''There has to be another way."
"You don't have a choice, Anna. We're running out of time, and if we don't act now, we may never get another chance. You must be willing to make sacrifices if you want to survive in this world." Abbadon said, his tone growing more insistent.
Tears welled in Anna's eyes as she struggled to reconcile the weight of Abbadon's words with her own sense of morality. She knew that their situation was dire, that they faced enemies far more powerful than they could hope to overcome alone. Yet, the idea of betraying everything she believed in to gain strength filled her with a profound sense of dread.
"I can't!" Anna repeated, her voice trembling with emotion. "I won't become a monster, no matter the cost."
''YOU'RE ALREADY A DAMN MONSTER!'' Anna recoiled at Abbadon's words, each syllable striking her like a physical blow. The accusation, the reminder of her own violent actions, cut through her with searing clarity, leaving her feeling raw and exposed. Tears welled in Anna's eyes as she struggled to comprehend the truth of Abbadon's words.
"I... I didn't mean to!" Anna whispered, her voice choked with remorse.
"Survival comes at a cost, Anna!" Abbadon said, his tone laced with bitterness. ''IT'S US OR HER! CHOOSE!''
''FINE! DAMN IT! I CHOOSE MYSELF!'' Anna screamed. Abbadon smiled and the dungeon disappeared. Anna opened her eyes and saw the sun shining. She turned around and saw Becca sleeping next to her.
''Damn it...'' Anna muttered and got up from bed. She went to the kitchen and grabbed a knife. ''Damn it! I don't want to do this!'' Anna said and started walking upstairs, each step made her slow down more and more. She stopped on one of the steps and looked at the door, she could only see half of it. She wanted to turn around and leave but her body kept moving up the steps.
''No, no no no no no no no no no no no no no no! No stop! Stop moving! STOP IT!'' Anna cried, her voice choked with desperation. Her body didn't stop moving. Anna got to the door and finally stopped moving. She looked at the wooden door and thought about entering the room and killing Becca. Her thoughts became darker and darker and she realised that she was under the controlof the spell again. She tried to signal to Abbadon but her hand stabbed her in the mouth to keep her quiet.
Anna opened the door and entered the room. She loomed over the bed and the sleeping Becca. Tears welled up in Anna's eyes as she raised the blade over her head. She tried to stop herself from stabbing Becca, but her body was not under her control. She drove the knife deep into Becca stomach and twisted it. She pulled the blade out and stabbed her again. Anna stabbed Becca again and again and again until her hand couldn't hold the knife anymore. Anna felt tired and crawled under the blanket. She started drifting off to sleep, her consciousness went back to the dark dungeon and the throne. She looked at the throne, Becca was sitting on it, her pink hair was turning red.
''Well that's a shame.'' Becca said and got up from the throne. ''I really thought I could help you fix yourself.''
''I'm sorry, I didn't want to do it! Abbadon needed me to become stronger so I coul-'' ''SHUT UP!'' Becca screamed and her hair turned bright red.
Anna suddenly woke up and felt Becca's hand squeezing her throat. She tried to get Becca's hand off her throat but she couldn't.
''You really messed up, bitch!'' Becca said and squeezed on Anna's throat. She started to get up and raised Anna above her. ''I will snap your neck!''
Anna's vision blurred as Becca's grip tightened around her throat, panic coursing through her veins as she fought for breath. Desperate, she clawed at Becca's hand, her lungs burning for air as darkness threatened to engulf her.
"Please." Anna gasped, her voice hoarse and strained. "Don't do this."
"You thought you could just betray me and get away with it?" Becca snarled, her grip tightening even further. "You think you can just apologize and everything will be forgiven? You're pathetic."
Anna's strength waned as Becca lifted her higher, her vision growing dim as the edges of consciousness began to fade. In that moment of desperation, Anna's mind raced, searching for a way to escape the deadly grip of her former friend.
''How are you still this strong? I stabbed you!'' Anna asked.
"I... I don't know." Becca replied, her voice tinged with uncertainty. "I guess I got lucky."
Anna's eyes widened in disbelief as she looked down at the spot where she had stabbed Becca, expecting to see blood staining her clothes. But to her astonishment, there was no sign of injury, no evidence of the violence that had just taken place. Her eyes widened in shock and realisation.
''You motherfu-'' Anna stopped herself. ''You're an angel?!''
