Chapter 5 - Beginnings and Ends collide

As Anna cooked, she heard an explosion not too far away. She turned around and saw the silhouette of Becca carrying a bed.

''You're late.'' Anna said and pointed towards the plates of veggies meat, which were already cold.

''Then why are you still cooking?'' Becca asked and put the bed on the ground. Anna sighed and turned back to the meat she was cooking. ''I eat a lot, I need the energy.'' She muttered.

''Won't you get fat if you eat that much?'' Becca asked and poked Anna's stomach.

''No, I burn calories really fast.'' Anna said. ''Now stop poking me.''

Becca smirked but withdrew her hand. "Lucky you." she muttered, grabbing a plate of the cold veggies and meat. "Guess I'll just have to warm this up myself."

Anna rolled her eyes.  "I've got some more meat cooking if you want it hot. Just be patient for a few more minutes."

"Fine." Becca grumbled, sitting on the bed she had brought. She looked around the room, noting its sparse furnishings. "We still need to find a better place to sleep. This bed's not gonna cut it for both of us."

"We can take turns or share." Anna suggested, keeping her focus on the cooking.  "We'll figure it out. Right now, we need to focus on getting stronger and means eating all of this.''

''I'm not sleeping with you again.'' Becca grumbled and got up from the bed. She grabbed a plate of cold veggies and meat and started eating. ''Your ass will get in the way of my sleeping.''

Anna rolled her eyes. "Fine, we can take turns then. I'm just saying we need rest as much as we need food and training."

Becca took a bite of her food, glaring at Anna. "I'm serious, Anna. We're finding another bed tomorrow. Or maybe a couch. I don't care, just something."

"Sure." Anna agreed, flipping the meat. "But if we don't find anything better, you're stuck with what we have."

"Whatever." Becca muttered, focusing on her meal. She watched Anna cook for a moment, a hint of curiosity in her eyes. "So, what's the plan for tomorrow's training?"

''I was thinking about durability training. We have to test out how much we can take without regenerating.'' Anna said, turning the meat one last time before plating it. ''But we might have to improve our coordination first. The maze showed us that we're stronger when we work together, but we're still rough around the edges.''

Becca nodded reluctantly. "Alright, I guess that makes sense. We need to be ready for whatever the shadows throw at us."

"Exactly." Anna said, handing Becca a plate of freshly cooked meat. "Eat up. We need all the energy we can get."

Becca nodded and took the plate, before filling her mouth with the freshly cooked meat. Anna took a few plates for herself and sat on the floor, before she started eating. Just as Becca had eaten half her meat, Anna had finished three of her plates and was eating her fourth one.

Becca stared at Anna, a mix of surprise and mild disgust on her face. "Do you ever slow down?" she asked, chewing thoughtfully.

Anna shrugged, swallowing another bite. "Like I said, I burn calories fast. Besides, we need to be at our peak if we're going to handle this place."

Becca rolled her eyes, but there was a hint of admiration in her gaze. "Yeah, yeah. Just try not to eat everything before I get a chance."

Anna chuckled, finishing her plate. "No promises. But seriously, we need to be smart about our training. It's not just about getting stronger; it's about getting smarter too."

"Alright. Durability and coordination tomorrow. But after that, we're finding more supplies. This bed situation can't continue." Becca said and finished her food.

"Deal." Anna agreed. "Now, get some rest. We have a big day ahead."

Becca grumbled something under her breath but lay down on the bed, pulling a makeshift blanket over her. Anna stretched out on the floor and a few moments later fell asleep.

The next morning, Anna woke first, her internal clock honed from years of having to wake up before Marie. She stood, stretching out her stiff muscles, and looked at Becca still sleeping on the bed. A small smile tugged at the corner of her mouth. Anna decided that she sshould mess with Becca and crawled into the bed.

''How do you even sleep like that?'' Anna muttered, surprised by Becca's weird position. Becca was sprawled out, one arm dangling off the side of the bed and one leg bent awkwardly.

Anna carefully crawled into the bed, trying not to disturb Becca too much. She lay beside her, taking up as little space as possible. Just as she settled in, Becca stirred, mumbling something incoherent. Anna stifled a laugh, amused by Becca's sleepy state.

Becca's eyes fluttered open, and she blinked in confusion. "Anna? What the hell are you doing?"

"Just testing a theory." Anna replied with a mischievous grin. "You know, about sharing the bed."

Becca groaned and rolled her eyes. "You're such a pain. Move over."

Anna scooted a bit closer to the edge, giving Becca more space. "Seriously though, we need to figure out how to make the most of what we have. If we can't find another bed today, we have to make this work."

Becca sighed but didn't argue. "Fine, but I'm still getting first dibs on any new bed we find."

"Deal." Anna said, smirking. "Now, let's get up and get started. We've got a lot to do."

They both got out of the bed and began their morning routine. After a quick breakfast, they headed out to the training area they had set up. "Alright, let's move on to durability." Anna said after an hour of coordination training. "We need to push our limits and see what we can handle."

Becca nodded, a determined look on her face. "Ready when you are."

Anna nodded and Becca punched her, sending her flying. Anna crashed into the ground and destroyed the floor. She got up and walked towards Becca. ''I felt that but I'm not injured.'' She said and punched Becca.

Becca braced herself, but Anna's punch still sent her skidding back a few feet. She rubbed her arm where Anna had struck, wincing slightly. "Okay, I felt that too, but I'm still standing." She rolled her shoulders, trying to shake off the impact.

Anna smiled, a mix of satisfaction and relief on her face. "Good. That means our durability training is paying off. We're getting tougher."

Becca nodded, though her expression was more serious. "Yeah, but we still have a long way to go. If we're going to survive out here, we need to be able to take hits from the shadows and keep going. I'll use my powers in my next attack.''

''Bring it on, I can take it.'' Anna said and braced herself for the attack. Becca's eyes narrowed, and she nodded, focusing her energy. Her fists began to glow with a faint, pulsating light, signaling the activation of her powers.

''TAKE THIS!'' Becca screamed and punched Anna with her nuke punch. Anna spat out blood and flew a few miles across the room. The room started changing and formed walls to stop Anna, but she broke through all of them. Finally, a giant black wall the size of a city, stopped Anna, although just barely. Anna fell out of the wall and hit the ground, laying in a pool of her own blood. She got up and cracked her neck. ''Ouch, that one rearranged my guts.'' She said and started regenerating her stomach. Becca reached Anna and the giant wall after a few seconds of flying. She landed on the ground in front of Anna and looked at all the damage.

''That one was a fail. I'll go easy on you next time.'' Becca said. Anna laughed, wincing as she held her regenerating stomach. "No need to hold back. If we're going to face the shadows, we need to know our limits and push past them." She took a deep breath, her body slowly healing from the massive impact. "Besides, it takes more than that to keep me down."

''Are you sure? I punched you 10 miles away.'' Becca said. ''I can take a hit, Becca, don't worry. Besides, it's my turn.'' Anna said and prepared to attack Becca. ''You better go all out.'' Becca said and braced herself.

Anna set her arm on fire and punched Becca in the stomach. Becca was tried to resist the attack, but Anna's fist exploded and shot a fireball right into Becca, sending her under the floor. Becca crawled out of the ground and coughed a bit before smiling and giving Anna a thumbs up.

''I tanked it. It hurt like hell but I'm not injured.'' She said and sat on the floor to catch her breath. ''Fuck I lied, my insides are burining like I ate too much Taco Bell.'' Becca said.

Anna laughed, extending a hand to help Becca up. "That's the spirit. We're getting stronger every day."

Becca took Anna's hand and stood, still wincing from the pain. "Yeah, but next time, maybe aim for somewhere other than my stomach. I don't think I can handle another fireball taco."

Anna grinned. "Noted. But seriously, we're making good progress. We need to keep pushing each other like this. It's the only way we'll be ready for whatever the shadows throw at us."

Becca nodded, her expression softening as she appreciated Anna's determination. "You're right. We need to be ready for anything. But let's take a break before we kill each other."

Anna laughed, nodding in agreement. "Agreed. Let's rest for a bit and then maybe work on some strategy. We've been focusing a lot on brute force, but we need to be smart about our attacks too."

They found a spot to sit down, leaning against the remnants of the giant black wall that Anna had crashed into. Becca winced slightly as she adjusted her position. "I guess we should figure out how to use our strengths together more effectively."

''We can try coating your weapons in my fire.'' Anna suggested. ''No, that would just blow up in my face. We need a better strategy.'' Becca said. Anna frowned, thinking hard. ''Your lightning powers might be useful if we combine them with my chains. I grab something and you zap it until it's dead.''

Becca sighed. ''I can't use those on command. They just go off at random.'' Anna's eyes narrowed thoughtfully. "Maybe we can work on controlling them, then. If we can harness your lightning, it could be a game-changer."

Becca looked skeptical. "It doesn't work like that. My lightning shows up at random, meaning I can't summon it. I can't contol it without being able to make it show up.'' Becca said.

Anna got up and walked a few meters away from the black wall. ''Let's test it out.'' She said. Becca rolled her eyes and got up. She followed Anna anf the two prepared for combat.

Becca threw a punch at Anna, but she dodged it. Becca then threw another punch, which was also dodged. Becca continued throwing punches and kicks, but Anna kept dodging and blocking them. Finally Becca threw a hard punch and felt the sparks coming. Anna felt the difference in the attack and blocked it, but it sent her sliding a few meters back. Becca smiled and cracked her knuckles.

''That was close!'' Becca said. ''I felt the lightning for a second.'' Anna smiled and walked back towards Becca. ''We just have to repeat that until you can land it.''

''Right, I'll just have to hit you 1000 more times.'' Becca said and threw another punch at Anna.

''That's the spirit!'' Anna said and dodged the punch. Becca followed up with a kick, but Anna blocked it and threw a punch. Becca blocked the punch and grabbed Anna, attempting to throw her.

''Yeah that's right!'' Becca said and threw Anna to the ground. Anna quickly got up and threw a kick at Becca's head. ''I'm not going down until you land another one!'' Anna said. Becca dodged the kick and threw a punch at Anna, trying to land a second lightning strike.

Anna parried the hit and landed a couple of punches on Becca's body. Becca swung a few times at Anna, but she dodged all her attacks. Anna then tried to kick Becca, but she missed and Becca grabbed her again.

Anna barely had time to react as Becca's grip tightened around her. She was lifted off the ground and thrown several feet away, hitting the ground with a thud. Quickly rolling to her feet, Anna shook off the impact, a grin spreading across her face.

"Not bad, Becca. Keep it up!" Anna encouraged, her eyes gleaming with determination. Becca panted slightly, the exertion starting to show. "You know, you make a pretty good punching bag."

''Thanks." Anna replied with a chuckle. "Now, let's see if you can do it again."

They squared off once more, and Becca lunged forward with a flurry of punches and kicks. Anna dodged and blocked each one, her movements fluid and precise. Becca's frustration grew, but she continued attacking. Becca threw jabs, hooks and kicks, but Anna avoided all of them by ducking and jumping back. Finally, Becca threw a kick at Anna's stomach and felt the sparks of lightning flow through her.

''LIGHTNING!'' Becca screamed as her foot connected with Anna's stomach, creating an explosion of electricity. Anna flew into the black wall again and cracked it again. She got up and dashed at Becca, throwing flurry of punches and kicks at her.

Becca tried to block and dodge the attacks, but she could only manage a few of them. Anna's punches connected with Becca's face and body, making her fly up from the floor. Before Becca could fly into the sky, Anna's kicks sent her flying forward. Becca put her hands in the air and made an explosion, sending herself into the ground.

''That hurt like hell!'' Becca said and jumped up from the hole she made. She then ran towards Anna and kicked her in the chest. Anna flew back, but Becca grabbed her by the haid and pulled her towards her. Before Becca could land a punch, Anna kneed her in the ribs. Becca felt her ribs crack and dropped Anna.

''Fuck, my ribs!'' Becca exclaimed. ''I didn't expect that.''

''Are you alright?'' Anna asked and rushed over to Becca. Just as she got close, Becca hit her with an uppercut. ''Sike!'' Becca said and punched Anna again. Anna got back to her feet and she started throwing punches at Becca, who retaliated with a flurry of blows. The two continued punching each other until a fire punch from Anna dropped Becca.

''We're done for now.'' Anna said and sat on the ground. Becca got up from the groud and rolled next to Anna.

''Yeah, I'm all out of juice. Turns out that trying to hit lightning intentionally drains me a bunch.'' Becca said.

Anna sat back, breathing heavily, her body aching from the intense training session. "Yeah, I can see that. But you did great, Becca. You're getting better at using it, even if it takes a lot out of you."

Becca nodded, wincing as she gingerly touched her ribs. "Thanks. I just need to keep practicing. Eventually, I'll be able to use it without feeling like I sprinted a marathon."

Anna chuckled, still catching her breath. "Exactly. And the more we push ourselves, the stronger we'll get. We'll figure out how to make the most of our abilities."

Becca lay on the ground, staring up at the sky. "I just hope it's enough. Those shadows are no joke. We need to be ready for anything."

"We will be." Anna said confidently. "We're getting stronger every day. And we have each other to rely on. We'll face whatever comes our way together."

In the Realm of Magic, the high council of magic were discussing the attack on the Divine Realm. The room was adorned with glowing symbols and intricate tapestries that told the stories of great battles and magical feats. The council members, each representing different elements and schools of magic, sat in a circle, their expressions grave and contemplative. High Elder Diamond, the leader and the most powerful wizard of all time, raised his hand, causing the room to go completely silent.

"We have received troubling reports,"  the Archmage began, his voice echoing through the chamber. "The shadows are growing stronger, and their influence is spreading. Our scouts have confirmed increased activity in the magic, mortal and undead realms."

A murmur of concern rippled through the council "What do we know about the mortals who are training to fight these shadows? Are they truly capable of standing against such darkness?'' One of the members, a witch in red, asked.

Diamond shook his head and then pointed towards a crystal mirror, showing the ongoing battle between the shadows and the angels. ''They don't stand a chance against this but the angels will use those two as meat shields.''

Another member, a shadowy figure in orange robes, changed the view of the mirror back to Anna and Becca fighting before cracking a smile. ''I believe that those two might be useful for us if they make it out of the big fight.''

A younger member of the council, a wizard with dark grey hair and grey robes, got up from the round table, frustration visible on his face. ''Can we adress the fact that Aleksei is responsible for all of this?'' High Elder Diamond's eyes narrowed as he regarded the wizard in grey. The tension in the room was palpable, and every council member seemed to hold their breath, awaiting Diamond's response.

"Aleksei's betrayal is a grave matter." Diamond began, his voice resonating with authority. "He was once a trusted member of this council, and his defection to the shadows has wrought untold chaos. However, assigning blame alone will not solve our predicament. We must focus on our strategy moving forward."

The wizard in grey, still standing, clenched his fists. "But we cannot ignore his actions. He has intimate knowledge of our defenses, our strategies. We need to find him and bring him to justice."

Diamond nodded. "We will. But first, we need to bolster our defenses and support those who are fighting on our behalf."

The shadowy figure in orange robes, spoke up again. "These mortals show potential. If they can survive the initial onslaught, they could be valuable allies. We should monitor their progress closely.''

The witch in red leaned forward, her eyes glinting with curiosity. "But how do we ensure they trust us? Mortals are often wary of our interference."

Diamond stroked his beard thoughtfully. "We will send an emissary. Someone who can gain their trust and help them harness their powers. They need to understand the gravity of the situation and the role they must play."

The council members exchanged glances, nodding in agreement. The wizard in grey, though still visibly frustrated, sat down, acknowledging the necessity of a united front. Diamond turned to a young sorceress with emerald-green robes, who had been quietly observing the proceedings. "Liora, you will be our emissary. You have a way with mortals and a deep understanding of their world. Guide Anna and Becca, teach them what they need to know, and ensure they are prepared for the battles to come."

Liora stood and bowed. "I will do my best, High Elder Diamond."

"Go now." Diamond commanded. "Time is of the essence. May the light of magic guide you."

As Liora left the chamber, the high council turned their attention back to their preparations. The shadow in orange grinned and looked at the crystal mirror. ''Do you believe that someone like Liora can enter the angel's room of time?'' He asked and leaned on his chair. High Elder Diamond regarded the shadowy figure in orange robes with a thoughtful expression.

''Liora possesses unique abilities, ones that may grant her access to places others cannot reach.'' he replied, his voice carrying a note of caution. ''I believe that she's capable of entering the room of time.''

''But do you think she'll survive in there?'' The shadow asked, his grin widening. ''The angel's rule specifically said that only the two mortals, Anna and Becca, will not age inside it. And I assume that you're aware of how time works in there.''

High Elder Diamond's expression remained composed, though a hint of concern flickered in his eyes.  ''Yes yes, I am aware that every second in there is stretched to an entire day. But I know that Liora is capable of countering time magic, she's on our council for a reason.''  he replied evenly.

The shadow in orange robes leaned forward, his grin widening. ''But that's only if she's capable of entering. And if she's not, then our plan fails. Ah, but that is what makes it all the more intriguing, isn't it? The uncertainty, the danger. It's like a game of chance, with the highest stakes imaginable."

The other council members exchanged uneasy glances, clearly unsettled by the prospect of Liora venturing into such treacherous territory. The witch in red spoke up, her voice tinged with apprehension. "We cannot underestimate the dangers of the Room of Time. Its power is beyond comprehension, and those who dare to enter do so at great risk."

High Elder Diamond nodded in agreement. "Indeed. Liora may possess remarkable abilities, but even she is not immune to the perils of the divine realms. We must proceed with caution, and consider the consequences of our actions carefully."

The shadowy figure chuckled softly, leaning back in his chair. "Of course, of course. But imagine the knowledge we could gain if she succeeds. The secrets of time itself, laid bare before us."

The wizard in grey looked at the shadow and then at the other wizards of council before getting up from his chair. ''I don't think any of you understand what the room is about. It was simply a deserate move pulled by a desperate angel to give himself two strong warriors to help against the shadows. The room will exist for only 24 hours. Even if Liora enters it, she'll have a few hours to find the two mortals and gain their trust. And if she somehow got in instantly, she still wouldn't have a way to reverse engineer the room and learn its secrets.''

''Even if she does, all she'll find out simple time magic in the core. It's just stretching a second to as long as possible, nothing special. Now if you'll excuse me, I'll go do something useful like finding Aleksei. Have fun talking about the shadows and your future while I guarantee its existence.'' The grey wizard said and left.

"Silva speaks with wisdom." Diamond said, his voice carrying a solemn tone. "We must not lose sight of our true purpose. Our focus should be on confronting the shadows and protecting our realm, rather than chasing after elusive secrets."

The shadowy figure in orange robes nodded thoughtfully, his grin fading. "Indeed, he brings a sobering perspective to our discussions. Perhaps it is time for us to refocus our efforts on more immediate concerns."

The witch in red sighed, her expression reflecting a mixture of relief and concern. "Agreed. We must prioritize the safety of our realm and its inhabitants above all else."

With a collective nod, the council members began to shift their attention back to the pressing matters at hand, setting aside their speculation and intrigue for the time being.

Meanwhile, Silva was walking towards the Academy of Magic, his thoughts still lingering on the council's discussion. As he passed by groups of students engrossed in their studies, he couldn't shake the weight of responsibility that rested on his shoulders. Entering his private chambers, Silva took a moment to collect his thoughts before sitting down at his desk.

''Alright, let's get this plan done before it's too late.'' Taking out a parchment and quill, Silva began drafting a plan of action, outlining strategic measures to strengthen their defenses and bolster their forces. After a few hours of working, Silva was done with his plan and sent the scroll to High Elder Diamond with his magic.

Silva got up from his chair and went over to the bookshelf, grabbed a grimoire and flipped through its pages. ''Human teleportation, human teleportation, where is it?''  He muttered as he searched. He finally found the spell and smiled.

''Finally, phase one can begin.''  Silva said and put the grimoire on his desk. ''I hope you're still hiding in that hole, Aleksei, I don't want to waste time searching for you.'' Silva said, his body covered in grey aura. ''With the power of the elements, I invoke teleportation!'' Silva said and disappeared in a flash of light.

Silva appeared in front of the ruins of a black castle with a smile on his face.  ''You're still here, huh? Good for me.''  Silva muttered and began walked towards the castle. When he got closer, he noticed that the old bridge had fallen, leaving a giant pit.  ''As expected.''  Silva said and used a close range teleportation spell to cross the pit. He continued walking, until he reached the drawbridge and pulled it with magic.

''At least this one is still functional.''  Silva said and walked into the castle.

As Silva entered the decrepit castle, a sense of foreboding hung heavy in the air. The once grand halls were now shrouded in darkness, with cobwebs clinging to every corner and the echoes of past battles lingering in the shadows.

Undeterred, Silva pressed forward. He navigated the labyrinthine corridors with ease, his senses attuned to any signs of movement or danger. As he ventured deeper into the castle, he could feel the presence of dark magic pulsing within its walls, a testament to the malevolent forces that had once held sway over the land.

Eventually, Silva reached the heart of the castle, where he sensed Aleksei's presence lurking in the shadows. With a steely resolve, he called out into the darkness, his voice echoing through the chamber.

"Aleksei, I know you're here." Silva declared, his tone firm and unwavering. "There's nowhere left to hide. It's time to face the consequences of your actions."

Silence greeted his words, the air heavy with tension as Silva awaited a response. But as the moments passed, there was no sign of Aleksei emerging from the shadows. Silva continued moving through the different rooms and chambers, trying to find Aleksei.

When Silva got to the last one, he kicked the door open and summoned an orb of light, casting its glow across the chamber. There, amidst the ruins and debris, sat Aleksei, next to him a pile of dead women. Aleksei got up from the pile of rocks he was sitting in and adjusted his black robes.

''Silva, it's been a while.'' Aleksei remarked, his voice echoing through the chamber. "I must admit, I didn't expect you to find me so easily."

Silva's gaze remained steady, his expression unreadable. "Your treachery has not gone unnoticed, Aleksei. It's time to answer for your crimes and face the consequences of your actions."

Aleksei chuckled darkly, his eyes glinting with malice. "And who will deliver those consequences, I wonder? You?"

"I am but the instrument of justice, Aleksei. It is not for me to decide your fate, only to ensure that justice is served." With a flick of his wrist, Silva summoned forth a surge of magical energy, his grey aura pulsing with power. "Now, are you ready to face the consequences of your betrayal?"

Aleksei chuckled, before slicking back his dark, unkempt hair. ''Oh please, entertain me.''

With a swift motion, Silva unleashed a bolt of grey energy, aimed directly at Aleksei. The dark sorcerer deflected it effortlessly, a barrier of green flames forming around him.

"You'll have to do better than that." Aleksei taunted, his voice dripping with disdain.

Silva didn't hesitate. He conjured a storm of elemental spells, each one blending the forces of nature and arcane magic. Fire, ice, lightning, and earth erupted in a dazzling display of power, converging on Aleksei with relentless fury.

Aleksei's barrier broke when the combined force of the elements hit it, but he managed to dodge the beam of fire, ice, lightning, and earth. ''Not bad, but you'll need something stronger to beat me'' Aleksei said and shot a few green fireballs at Silva.

Silva deftly dodged the incoming fireballs, his movements precise and calculated. He countered with a flurry of ice shards, aiming to freeze Aleksei in place. The shards whistled through the air, but Aleksei twisted his body, evading most of them while deflecting the rest with a wave of his hand.

"You've improved, Silva." Aleksei admitted, his voice tinged with mock admiration. "But so have I."

With a flick of his wrist, Aleksei summoned a vortex of green flames, sending it spiraling toward Silva. The flames roared and crackled, their heat intense enough to scorch the stone floor.

Silva raised his hands, summoning a barrier of water that collided with the flames, creating a hissing cloud of steam. Through the mist, Silva's eyes glowed with determination. "I won't let you win, Aleksei. Not this time."

Drawing upon the energy of the elements, Silva launched a combined assault of wind and lightning. The wind howled through the chamber, carrying bolts of electricity that crackled and danced with lethal precision. Aleksei grunted as the lightning struck him, causing his body to convulse.

"You're persistent, I'll give you that."  Aleksei growled, his green flames flickering as he struggled to maintain his defense. "But persistence won't save you."

Silva didn't respond, his focus unwavering. He needed to find a way to break through Aleksei's defenses once and for all. Silva created blades of ice and launched them at Aleksei, forcing him to stop firing and reinforce his fire barrier.

''I win.''  Silva said. He had been waiting for this moment, biding his time until Aleksei was forced to divert his attention. With Aleksei's fire barrier up, Silva channeled his energy into a powerful, concentrated spell.

Silva's grey aura spiked up and covered the entire room. He started channeling the elements through it, covering the room in ice. Aleksei's flames froze around him, trapping him in a prison of ice.

''What the-'' Aleksei exclaimed.

Silva then channeled lightning through his aura and covered the room in sparks. Aleksei felt his body get fried by lightning and his muscles stopped moving. Silva then summoned water, frying Aleksei's body even more.

''Now I can finish you off.'' Silva said and started manipulating the shape of his aura. When he was done, the room was no longer coated in magic and there was a single line of grey, pointed right at Aleksei's body.

''Cleave.'' Silva commanded and a jagged slash of grey magic moved through the line and sliced Aleksei in half vertically. The entire room started shaking and soon the castle began to collapse. Silva made a barrier of magic to protect himself from the falling debris and landed on the ground safely.

''It seems I've overdone it. I didn't need that move to end you.'' Silva said and dusted off his robes. He turned around and made his way out of the castle, but not before looking at the mountain behind the castle, which was now sliced in half. Silva sighed and turned around, reaching for his pipe, which was in his pocket.

(Ost- Dangerous Gaze- Brandon Yates)

''Not. So. Fast.'' Aleksei said and shot a bolt of lightning at Silva, paralyzing him for long enough to cast another spell.

Aleksei shot a spiral of magic at Silva, sending him crashing through the ruins of the castle. When Silva got up, he was very injured and the spiral spell was flying back at him at a rapid speed.

''Enough of this!''  Silva said and shot a fireball at the spiral spell to destroy it. The fire bounced off the spell and was absorbed in it, creating a drill of fire and magic. The spiral fire drill flew towards Silva, but he was able to dodge it in time.

The drill hit the pile of rock and debris and made a huge explosion, which sent Silva to the ground. Aleksei walked towards him slowly, a second magic spiral spinning in his hand.

''I told you that you need more to defeat me.'' Aleksei said and sent the spiral spell through Silva's stomach. ''Ack-'' Silva coughed up blood and Aleksei turned the spiral into a vortex of snakes. The snakes restrained Silva and Aleksei retrieved the spiral fire drill.

''Now you will die with no one to remember you.''  Aleksei said and turned the drill into a drill blade. He pointed it at Silva's neck and then cackled.

''You're even easier than that angel girl I killed!''  Aleksei laughed and stabbed Silva in the neck. Silva started coughing up blood and choking when the drill went through his neck. Aleksei laughed as he watched Silva choke on his own blood and die.

But then Aleksei was hit by another cleave, right in the back, which forced him to his knees. When he looked at Silva's corpse he saw that it was made out of ice and the real Silva was behind him.

''You bastard!''  Aleksei screamed and got up from the ground. He ran towards Silva and threw fireballs at him, forcing the wounded wizard to dodge. When Silva dodged the attacks, he sent a blade of lightning at Aleksei's legs, but the evil wizard jumped over it.

''Die!'' Aleksei screamed and the green fireballs curved back and hit Silva in the back.  ''Ack!'' Silva dropped to one knee and Aleksei summoned another spiral spell, this time black instead of white, and shot it at Silva, creating black and red lightning in the process.

Silva saw the black spiral and clapped his hands, teleporting behind Aleksei. ''Fall!'' Silva commanded and Aleksei crashed into the ground, making a hole. Silva got up and started charging up his cleave spell again.

''This time I'll hit you right between the eyes and I'll make sure you're dead.'' Silva said and focused his aura around his body. Aleksei tried to get up, but his body was still under Silva's spell. He then looked at the black spiral in the distance and screamed at it.

''TURN AROUND AND BLAST HIM!'' Aleksei commaned and the spell came flying back at hypersonic speeds. The spiral moved so fast that it ripped through the ground and left a trail of black and red lightning. Aleksei managed to change the spell's trajectory so it wouldn't hit him. The spell flew over him and right at Silva.

''Shit!'' Sliva cursed and aimed the cleave spell at the spiral spell. ''Cleave!'' He said and aa grey slash of magic ripped through the air and clashed with the black spiral. The two forces collided with a deafening roar, sending shockwaves through the air and causing the ground to tremble. Silva braced himself, his body straining against the intense power emanating from the clash.

For a moment, it seemed as though the cleave spell might hold its ground. But the sheer force of the black spiral began to overwhelm it, pushing the grey slash back inch by inch. Silva's face contorted with effort, his aura flickering as he poured every ounce of his strength into the spell.

Aleksei, still pinned by Silva's earlier command, watched the struggle with a twisted smile. "You're finished, Silva." he taunted, his voice dripping with malice. "You can't win against the power of the shadows."

Silva gritted his teeth, refusing to give in. With a final, desperate surge of energy, he channeled the essence of all the elements into his cleave spell. The grey slash blazed brighter, its edge crackling with fire, ice, lightning, and earth.

"Fall!" Silva growled, his voice filled with determination. The enhanced cleave spell surged forward, cutting through the black spiral with a thunderous crack. The black spell shattered into fragments of dark energy that dissipated into the air.

Aleksei's eyes widened in shock as the remnants of his attack dissolved. Silva, breathing heavily and covered in sweat, staggered forward. He raised his hand, the grey aura flaring up around him once more.

"This ends now!" Silva declared, his voice steady despite his exhaustion. He summoned the last of his strength, forming a concentrated sphere of pure elemental energy.

Aleksei tried to muster a defense, but he was too slow. The beam of elemental energy shot forward, striking him square in the chest. Aleksei screamed in agony as the energy coursed through him, his body convulsing violently.

''DRAGON!'' Aleksei yelled. Suddenly, the dragon made of purple fire came flying through the air and hit Silva with its tail, sending him flying back.

''Kill him!'' Aleksei said and the dragon spat a giant purple fireball at Silva. Silva tried to block the attack with the bits of magic he had left, but the fire of the purple dragon was too strong. The fireball grew bigger and the bits of ice, fire, earth and lightning in Silva's magic barrier started breaking.

''I swear I will find a way to kill you, ALEKSEI!'' Silva screamed as his magic barrier broke and he was consumed by the purple fire. The dragon then inhaled the purple fire back into its body and looked at Aleksei, who was still in the hole. Aleksei felt Silva's magic weaken and disappear and smiled.

''About damn time.'' Aleksei said and got up from the ground, then he adjusted his robes before jumping on the dragon's back.

''Let's go, I need some booze.'' He said and the dragon flew away.

In the room of time, Anna and Becca were fighting again. It had been a few weeks inside already and Becca was landing lightning strikes more consistently.

Becca threw a kick at Anna's head, but Anna managed to dodge it, although just barely. As Anna dodged Becca's kick, she countered with a swift punch aimed at Becca's abdomen. Becca managed to block the punch, but Anna followed up with a series of rapid strikes, each one testing Becca's defenses. Becca gritted her teeth, her focus sharpening as she anticipated Anna's next move. With a quick sidestep, Becca evaded Anna's punches and attempted to sweep her legs out from under her. However, Anna leaped over the sweep, flipping backward to regain her balance.

''Not bad, but you didn't land a single lightning this time.'' Anna said. Becca sighed and sat down on the ground.  ''I told you that's it's still 1 out of every 1000 punches.''

Anna nodded, understanding Becca's frustration. "I know, but you're improving. The fact that you're even able to channel lightning intentionally is a huge step forward."

Becca nodded, her expression determined. "Yeah, I just wish it would happen more often when I need it to."

Anna reached out and placed a comforting hand on Becca's shoulder. "We'll get there, Becca. It just takes time and practice. And hey, even without the lightning, you're a formidable fighter."

Becca smiled faintly, appreciating Anna's encouragement. "Thanks, Anna. I guess we'll just have to keep training until we can take on those shadows without hesitation."

Anna grinned, a spark of determination igniting in her eyes. "Exactly. We'll keep pushing ourselves until we're ready for anything they throw at us."

Meanwhile, Liora was trying to find her way inside the room of time. ''How do I even enter this place?''  Liora stood before the entrance to the room of time, her brow furrowed in concentration as she pondered her next move.

''Space magic, give me a key!'' She said and scanned the entire Sanctum of Serenity. She saw a small opening in space and put her hands through it. ''Key! OPEN!'' She said and tore the the space and saw what was inside the room of time.

Liora's heart raced as the tear in space revealed the swirling vortex of the Room of Time. The energy emanating from the tear was intense, almost overwhelming, but she steeled herself, knowing this was her chance. She took a deep breath and focused her magic, ensuring the tear remained stable as she stepped through.

Inside, the Room of Time was a strange, ethereal space where time seemed to flow differently. The air was thick with the hum of angelic magic, and the atmosphere shimmered with glowing white light. Liora took a moment to orient herself, feeling the temporal currents brushing against her skin.

She moved cautiously, her senses alert for any signs of Anna and Becca. The room was vast, with no clear path or landmarks to guide her. Instead, she relied on her magical instincts, feeling out the energies within the space to guide her steps.

As she ventured deeper, she felt a strong surge of energy ahead. She quickened her pace, hoping it would lead her to the two mortals. Her surroundings seemed to distort and stretch as she moved, a constant reminder of the room's unique properties.

Finally, she saw them—Anna and Becca, locked in intense combat, their movements a blur of speed and skill. Liora could see the determination in their eyes, the unyielding resolve as they trained to face the shadows.

"Anna! Becca!" Liora called out, her voice echoing strangely in the temporal space. The two fighters paused, turning to face her with surprise and curiosity.

"Who are you?" Anna asked, her guard still up.

"I'm Liora." she replied, stepping closer. "I've been sent by the High Council of Magic. We need to talk."

Becca narrowed her eyes but lowered her fists slightly. "About what?"

"About the shadows, your training, and how we can work together to prepare for what's coming," Liora said earnestly. "I know this place is meant to help you grow stronger, but there are things you need to know—things that can help you in ways you might not realize."

Anna and Becca exchanged a glance, then nodded. ''Alright.'' Anna said. "Let's hear what you have to say."

''The High Council wants to help you against the shadows. As you know the Divine Realm is currently overrun by shadows and there is a chance they consume the body of Chaos.''  Liora said.

''Yeah, we know that.'' Becca said. ''Kinda the whole reason we're here.''

"Exactly." Liora acknowledged, her tone serious. "But there's more. The shadows' goal is not just to spread chaos—they aim to harness the power of Chaos itself. If they succeed, their influence will extend far beyond the Divine Realm, threatening all existence."

Anna frowned, crossing her arms. "So what exactly are you suggesting? We've been training hard here, but what more can we do?"

Liora took a step closer, her expression earnest. "The High Council has been monitoring your progress. You're both incredibly strong, but to face the shadows and protect the realms, you'll need more than just physical strength. You need knowledge and strategic alliances."

Becca raised an eyebrow. "Alliances? With whom?"

Liora smiled and put her hand on her chest. ''With me and the other mages of course! We want to help you stop the shadows in the Divine Realm and in exchange you will help us with the shadows in our realm.''

Anna and Becca exchanged glances, then turned back to Liora.

"That sounds like a fair deal." Anna said, her voice steady. "But how can we trust you and your council? We need to know we're not walking into a trap."

Liora's expression softened, understanding their hesitation. "I understand your concerns. Trust is earned, not given. But know this: the shadows are a threat to all realms, not just yours or mine. We share a common enemy, and by working together, we stand a better chance of defeating them."

Becca nodded slowly. "Alright, we're willing to hear you out. But what's the plan?"

Liora smiled and her green eyes sparkled with excitement. ''We train together of course! With my help you will grow even stronger, maybe even stronger than what you could have acomplished if you trained uninterrupted for the entirety of the 236 years you have in here.''

Anna and Becca exchanged surprised glances, then turned back to Liora.

"Training together sounds like a good idea," Anna said cautiously. "But what kind of training are we talking about?"

''236 years? What do you mean 236 years?!" Becca exclaimed.

Liora chuckled softly at Becca's outburst. "Yes, 236 years. Time flows differently here. The magic in here stretches every second to 24 hours. When you take all 86 400 seconds in a day and stretch them to 24 hours each, you get 236 years, 8 months, 2 weeks and 6 days!'' She exclaimed.

Becca's eyes widened in shock. "That's... insane. We could have trained for centuries without even realizing it."

Anna nodded, equally astonished but more composed. "It's an incredible advantage. But as you said, Liora, there's more to mastering our abilities than just time."

Liora smiled warmly. "Exactly. Training together will allow us to refine your techniques and push your limits further. Now, let's get started."

Becca grinned and cracked her knuckles. ''Alright! I've never kicked a wizard's ass before!'' Liora chuckled and summoned her staff. She then snapped her fingers and her long, red hair instantly braided itself. "Alright, Becca," Liora said, her eyes twinkling with a mix of amusement. "Let's see what you've got."

(Ost Change x Of x Heart - Therewolf Media)

Becca didn't need another invitation. She launched herself at Liora with a burst of speed, her fist crackling with lightning as she aimed a punch at Liora's midsection.  Liora deftly sidestepped, her staff spinning in a defensive arc that deflected Becca's attack. "Good, but not quite enough," Liora teased.

''Damn it!'' Becca said and threw a kick at Liora. The mage dodged the attack, but Becca followed up with a flurry of punches.

Liora tried to dodge all of the punches, but she could only dodge 17 of them. When the Becca's fists got close to Liora's face, she created a forcefield and blocked the attack.

''You're actually pushing me a lot.'' Liora said and turned off the force field. Becca smirked and cracked her knuckles, releasing a small explosion. ''I haven't even started fighting for real yet!''

Liora smiled and summoned yellow lightning. ''Let's take this to the next level.''

Becca ran towards Liora and propelled herself with and explosion. She threw a punch at Liora, trying to summon the lightning with her fist. Liora sent the bolts of lightning at Becca, forcing her to dodge the attacks by sending herself flying backwards with an explosion. Liora sent a wave of yellow lightning at Becca, but this time Becca was ready for it and clashed with the wave with her nuke punch.

The lightning and the nuke punch clashed and created a small explosion of yellow lightning and orange fire. Becca absorbed the explosion and blasted herself towards Liora, breaking the sound barrier and leaving a pink trail behind her. Liora summoned more lightning and shot it Becca, but she dodged easily. Liora then pulled the lightning back towards her to hit Becca in the back. Becca was hit by the lightning and Liora used force magic and blasted Becca away. Becca flew over the part of the room that could turn into a maze and tried to make an explosion to escape the walls before they grew big, but she failed.

The maze grew in size and reached the clouds yet again. Then the walls became thicker and grew spikes, before collapsing on top of Becca, creating an explosion of dust. Liora looked at the pile of walls and pillars and then created a layer of forcefields and reinforced them with lightning. Liora saw the massive pile of rock melt and then explode. The explosion grew bigger and bigger and then yellow lightning came out of it. Suddenly, the lightning changed color, turning blue and surrounding the mushroom cloud like a halo. The cloud became smaller and smaller and then the lightning it the center of it. Becca came out of the explosion, her glowing green wings covered in lightning. She created a glowing green spear of uranium and lightning and then threw it at Liora.

''Holy damn!'' Liora said and made another layer of forcefields and put water magic into them, creating a line of barriers. The spear broke through all of the forcefields and grazed Liora's face, before disappearing in the distance.

''Phew, It missed.'' Liora said and looked at Becca, who was now right in front of her. Becca threw a punch, but Liora managed to block it with water magic, though it sent her flying towards the black wall.

''I'm not done yet!'' Liora said and used water magic to bounce off the wall. She flew back at Becca and sent a tsunami at her. ''Have some of this!'' Liora said and shot lightning at the tsunami, making it more dangerous.

''Bring it on!'' Becca said and threw a nuke punch at the tsunami. The nuke punch made a huge fireball and evaporated the tsunami, leaving Liora shocked. ''You didn't see that coming, did you?'' She taunted.

Liora used water magic to make armor for herself and kicked Becca in the stomach. ''I didn't expect it but that doesn't mean I'm out of options!''

Becca was sent sliding a couple of meters back and chuckled. ''Let's have some more fun!'' She said and attacked Liora. The two clashed kicks and punches for a while, sending water and fire flying across the room. Liora created water whips and hit Becca with them, pushing her back. Liora grabbed a few rocks and threw them at Becca.

''Keep it up!'' Becca said and dodged the rocks. She then created a hammer of uranium and hit Liora with it, nuking the room again.

Liora turned her armor into ice and blocked the explosion. She grabbed Becca through the fireball and slammed her into the ground, making the crater even bigger. Becca grinned and absorbed the explosion, before raising her hand and yelling.

''RETURN!'' Becca commanded and her spear came back, right through Liora's midsection. The spear destroyed the ice armor. Liora was stunned for a moment, which gave Becca the chance to kick her high into the air. Becca then grabbed her spear and threw it at Liora, breaking the sound barrier so many times that the shockwaves turned purple. The spear sliced through the clouds and reached Liora in the blink of an eye.

''I'm not losing this yet!'' Liora said and made herself lightning armor. The spear connected and sent her flying so high, that she couldn't even see the clouds anymore. As she floated through this space, Liora saw the spear start to glow and explode. ''Crap!'' She said and the spear exploded, creating an explosion so massive that Becca could see it 85 miles away.

Liora fell for so long that she regained consciousness again. She then saw the clouds under her and got an idea. ''By the power of the elements, I call upon the cloud diety!''  Liora said and the clouds around her formed an avatar of her. The cloud avatar grabbed Liora and put her on the ground before breaking apart. Liora fell to her knees and her nose started bleeding, due to her burning through her mana.

''Fine! I give up.'' Liora said and fell to the ground. Becca chuckled and went over to her. ''You know, I expected you to be a lot stronger since you're the magic council or whatever.''

Liora made a puty face before replying to Becca. ''I'm strong, there some things I can't use in here though.'' Becca raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Oh? What kind of things?"

Liora, still catching her breath, gave a wry smile. ''Time magic, space magic, ancient magic, things like that. And I'm the weakest member on the council too, the other members like Master Silva are very powerful.''

Becca raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Wait, if you're the weakest on the council, and you're this strong, how powerful are the others?"

Liora chuckled, a hint of pride in her voice. "Much stronger. Master Silva, for instance, is a master of elemental fusion and spatial manipulation. He's been known to bend reality itself in battle and use multiple teleportation spells without incantation. He taught me how to notice hidden spaces and pocket dimensions. The other members have their own magic that I've never seen the full extent of but they're so powerful that their basic spells look godly.''

Becca's eyes widened in amazement. "Elemental fusion and spatial manipulation? Bending reality? That sounds insane."

Anna nodded, her curiosity piqued. "If Silva and the others are that powerful, we definitely need to learn everything we can. The shadows won't stand a chance if we can master even a fraction of their abilities."

''The thing is, I can't teach you magic. You just don't have the compatibility needed for most spells. Epecially you, Anna.''

Anna's face fell slightly, but she quickly regained her composure. "I see. So, what can we do then?"

Liora smiled reassuringly. "Don't worry, there's still plenty you can learn. While you might not be able to use traditional magic, there are other ways to enhance your abilities.''

Becca frowned, confused. "Other ways? Like what?"

Liora perked up and began to explain. ''You can train until your abilities evolve beyond magic. You can make your lightning strike stronger than magic lightning. Anna can make her flame stronger than magic flame. I can teach you non magic counters to spells.''

"Non-magic counters to spells?" Anna asked. "How does that work?"

Liora smiled. "It's about understanding the fundamental properties of magic and using physical techniques to counter them. For example, you can use the inherent properties of lightning to disrupt magical energy fields or use certain techniques to deflect spell attacks."

Becca nodded, eager to learn. "Alright, where do we start?"

''The easiest is to stop spells that use incantations. You have to stop the one casting it by stopping them from talking. Some spells use both incantations and handsigns but they're usually easy to spot due to the purple sparks and flames coming out of the hands and body of the caster.'' Liora explained, her green eyes sprakling.

Becca and Anna listened intently, absorbing Liora's advice.

"So, stopping the caster mid-incantation should be our first goal." Anna summarized. "Any tips on how to do that effectively?"

Becca thought about it for a few seconds and then grinned maliciously. ''I think I know a way.'' Anna raised an eyebrow, intrigued by Becca's sudden enthusiasm. "What are you thinking?"

Becca's grin widened. ''So let's say Liora uses an incantation, I just gotta break her jaw to stop her, right? And if she uses hands too then I just cut them off. Easy stuff.''

Anna stared blankly at Becca for a few seconds and then tunred to Liora. ''Her plan is way better than what I had in mind.''

Liora's face turned pale and she put her hand on Anna's shoulder. "Who hurt you?'' Anna laughed, shaking her head. ''I wasn't thinking of something brutal. Just thinking of something else. If I grab your hands and kiss, it does the same thing as Becca's method, just not as effective.''

Liora blinked, caught off guard by Anna's unexpected response. She chuckled softly, a hint of amusement coloring her features. "Well, that's certainly one way to disrupt a spellcaster. And probably a lot less painful than having your jaw broken or hands cut off."

Becca burst out laughing, unable to contain herself at Anna's suggestion. "I like Anna's idea better! But I'm never using it!''

Anna shrugged, a playful grin on her face. "Hey, whatever works, right? Plus, it's a lot less messy."

''Yeah no, I'm not kissing random dudes to stop their attacks, that's gross. But's I'd watch you do it and I'll laugh.'' Becca said.

Anna rolled her eyes, playfully nudging Becca with her elbow. "Glad to know you've got my back, Becca."

Liora chuckled, finding amusement in their banter. "Well, let's hope it doesn't come to that. But it's good to have a variety of tactics at our disposal, just in case."

''Can we get to training already? We wasted enough time talking about kissing.'' Becca said.

Liora nodded, a smile playing on her lips. "Of course. Let's get back to it."

''Let's eat something first, we need to be at 100% to train efficiently.'' Anna said and pointed towards the pile of food.

''What should we eat?'' Liora asked. Anna glanced at the spread in front of them, considering the options. "We've got a lot to choose from. How about we start with some protein? We've got grilled chicken, beef, and fish here."

Becca looked around the pile of food and then looked back at Anna. ''I want some grilled chicken, rice, and vegetables. Oh and some beef too!''

Liora smiled and picked up a plate. "I'll have some fish and vegetables. I need to keep my energy balanced."

Anna served Becca a mix of chicken, beef and vegetables, then she served Liora fish and vegetables, then reached for a bowl of fruit. ''You should eat some fruit after you're done with your meals too.''

Anna then prepared her own plate with a mix of chicken, beef, fish, vegetables and a large serving of rice and mushrooms. She put her seven plates on the ground and picked up a fork and spoon. ''Alright, this is enough for me.'' Anna said and started eating. Liora stared at Anna's food with a blank expression on her face for a few moments before turning to Becca with a shocked and scared expression.

''Is she going to eat all of that food?'' Liora asked. Becca just nodded and continued eating her chicken. After a few bites, Becca sighed and looked at Liora. ''Yes she is. Eat your food before it gets cold.''

Becca's casual response only seemed to increase Liora's disbelief as she glanced back at Anna, who was steadily making her way through her substantial meal. "I've never seen anyone eat like that before." Liora whispered, her eyes wide with astonishment.

Becca chuckled, shaking her head. "You get used to it. Anna's powers and her Abaddon fragment make her like this when it comes to food. She's like a bottomless pit." As they continued to eat, Liora couldn't help but steal occasional glances at Anna, still marveling at her impressive appetite.

Before Becca and Liora could finish their food, Anna was already done with her meal. She got up from the floor and went over to the sink and washed her plates and utensils. ''You should hurry up, I can't wait to train with you.''

Liora and Becca exchanged a quick glance before nodding and hastening to finish their meals. Anna looked at them, not satisfied with how slow they were eating. She walked off in the direction of the black wall, cracking her neck to prepare for the two-on-one fight. Becca finished her meal and threw her plate in the sink, before taking off after Anna. Liora ate her food and took off after Becca and Anna. ''Wait for me!''

The three women stopped at the spot where the black wall was and every trace of their destructive fight was gone, in its place a giant arena.

''Another change?''  Liora muttered. Anna nodded, her eyes scanning the arena with a sense of anticipation. "Looks like it. Let's make the most of it."

Becca cracked her knuckles, a grin spreading across her face. "I'm ready for round two, but this time, let's make it even more intense!"

Liora took a deep breath, her expression determined. "Agreed. Let's push ourselves to the limit and see what we're truly capable of."

The three entered the arena and prepared to fight each other. Anna summoned her dagger and created fireballs around herself. The fire consumed her and turned her limbs into fire. Becca grinned and cracked her neck, her atomic glow surrounding her body completely. The radiation moved around her body and formed wings again. Liora used her magic to change her hair again, this time a red ponytail. She summoned her staff and the elements started flowing through her body. Yellow lightning covered the arena and created a dome around it, making Liora's magic even more powerful and dense.

''Are you ready?'' Liora asked Anna and Becca. Becca nodded and created a pair of giant nuke shuriken. ''I'm ready to kick Anna's ass.''

Anna chuckled and pointed her dagger at Becca. ''Let's get this party started!'' Anna said and her fire burned bigger.

Becca and Liora charged towards Anna, radiation and lightning clashing against fire. A pillar of fire errupted from Anna and consumed Liora and Becca. Liora's lightning swirlled around the pillar of fire and clashed against it, while Becca's radiation errupted inside the pillar of fire.

Inside the pillar, Anna clashed against Becca and Liora, blocking and dodging punches and kicks. She swung her dagger at the two, forcing them to dodge. Becca grabbed Anna's dagged and punched her in the face, sending her crashing into the walls of the fire pillar. Liora blasted Anna with lightning.

''Ouch, that hurt.'' Anna said mockingly. She took a few steps forward and cracked her flaming knuckles. ''Let's play for real!''

To be continued.
