Li Family Village was an ancient village that had already housed more than a hundred households by the time of Emperor Kangxi's reign. These people were part of a large clan that had migrated from other places.
The members of the Li Clan had to leave their hometown because they had offended a more powerful local clan and had no choice but to migrate north with their entire clan.
Among this group, there were individuals who had held high official positions in the court, so after a major conflict, the Li Clan members were exiled here.
Winter here was cold, with freezing temperatures and scarcely any human habitation. It could be said that it was a place where even birds wouldn't lay eggs, usually reserved only for the exile of the most serious criminals.
The Li Clan people took root here for hundreds of years, and over time, people with different surnames settled here, leading to the formation of the large village known as Li Family Village today, with over a thousand households.
