The meeting had just reached its halfway point when Wang Hao waved his hand, signaling his underlings to head back to their homes and find their mothers.
"Brother Wang Hao!"
Just then, Ye Ning peeked out half of her head and called out to Wang Hao.
Wang Hao, surprised to see Ye Ning, asked,
"Ningning, what brings you here?"
Ye Ning pouted and said in a coquettish tone, "I missed you, so I came to see you. Is that not okay?"
Wang Hao smiled gently and said, "Of course it's okay. How are uncle and auntie doing?"
Ye Ning said, "Yeah, they're both fine, but my mom keeps talking about you all the time!"
"Uh..." Wang Hao's face flushed with embarrassment.
As a child, Ye Ning's mother had always seen Wang Hao as a devil to be avoided at all costs, as if her precious daughter would be missing a piece of flesh after spending even a moment alone with him.
