Ye Ning slept restlessly, like a fidgety kitten, losing her blanket time and again. Throughout the night, Wang Hao did nothing but cover her with the blanket, until the sky in the east began to lighten with the first hint of dawn, and only then did he manage to close his eyes for a bit.
The early morning sun shone through the window, sprinkling its afterglow into the room and casting an enticing blush across Ye Ning's face.
Stretching with a yawn, Ye Ning opened her bleary eyes.
Her lively gaze darted around, and upon seeing Wang Hao lying at the edge of the bed, she couldn't help but pout.
Immediately after, she picked up a blanket and gently covered Wang Hao with it.
Wang Hao was a light sleeper and woke up right away.
Looking at Wang Hao's panda eyes, Ye Ning said, "Brother Wang Hao, why didn't you sleep on the bed?"
Wang Hao rubbed his nose and replied, "You've got your period, am I supposed to run a red light or something?"
