Just as Hua Ning returned from a visit, stepping into the front hall, she heard the voice of her precious granddaughter coming from the courtyard.
The more Hua Ning listened, the more she felt something was amiss. She wanted to see for herself, but somehow managed to hold back. If the two youngsters were really doing something, barging in would be far too embarrassing.
Upon further thought, it seemed unlikely that anything was going on between the two. She probably just let her imagination get the better of her.
