Hua Ning waved her hand and spoke to Liu Mang and Hua Rui, "Don't blame her, blame my poor medical skills for failing to diagnose her illness."
"From what you're saying, Grandpa Hua," Liu Mang said, "this lady does have an illness, but you couldn't figure it out?"
"That's pretty much the situation." Hua Ning wasn't too upset; after all, no matter how skilled he was, he was just a worldly physician, and there would always be illnesses he couldn't cure.
"Looks like it's been a waste of time." The woman opened her purse, took out a stack of banknotes without looking, threw them on the table, and turned to leave.
Seeing this, Hua Ning hurriedly said, "Since I couldn't diagnose your illness, I can't take your money. Please take it back."
The woman stopped in her tracks and faced Hua Ning, "I never take back money once I've put it down. It's my fault, too, for losing my temper at you. I apologize for earlier."
