Despite the impressive things Zack encountered in this peaceful and magically advanced world, a troublesome concern gnawed at him. His arrival should have been noticed by the overlord governing this realm. An intruder of his caliber, with his powerful magical abilities and sudden appearance, would undoubtedly have triggered alarms or at least drawn attention. Yet, up to this point, there had been no sign of any response or recognition from the world's ruler.
This silence was unsettling. Overlords, as Zack knew, were typically vigilant and highly protective of their territories. The lack of immediate reaction from the overlord here could mean several things: they might be observing him from a distance, biding their time to understand his intentions, or perhaps they had other reasons for not revealing themselves right away.
