Chapter 87 - Ch.87 Messy and Mussy (Middle)

Who is Stark?

You can know from the description of him in the comic. He is referred to as the "Knowledge-Cursed Super Genius" and possesses the 8th Infinity Stone called the "Curse of Knowledge." In the comic, he fully masters all knowledge about black holes within a day, surpassing the likes of Einstein and Mendeleev.

It led to unexpected changes, completely beyond Venom's expectations.

Firstly, Stark was someone who loved to dig deeper. He spent a whole six days investigating what Venom was.

When he learned Venom was an extraterrestrial being, Stark's sudden excitement caused Venom to stumble.

From the birthplace of the symbiotic mother planet to how it wandered to the Earth and possessed various hosts, Stark questioned Venom in great detail.

Out of respect for his long-term meal ticket, Venom tried its best to answer Stark's questions. However, a super genius always had an endless series of "whys," and for every question, Stark could come up with countless follow-up questions.

Where was the symbiotic mother planet? Who were your creators? What kind of extraterrestrial being were they? In what form did it exist there? Was it far away from Earth? Could humans reach it within a human lifetime? Would you invade Earth? Were the creators independent sentient beings or the collective consciousness of the planet? Why didn't the symbiotic siblings leave the mother? Why did you run away from home? Did you make the creators angry? How was it different from the God in human religious stories?

Stark relentlessly pursued these questions from various angles. While Venom could answer some of them, there were some abstract and creative questions that it couldn't comprehend.

According to the symbiote's age, it was still just underage. Even if it was a genius child among the symbiotes, it couldn't understand the strange and highly imaginative questions posed by the super genius.

Finally, Stark's curiosity about Venom's origin subsided, which led Venom to discover for the first time how complex human emotions could be.

Stark's overly sensitive heart and the brain filled with sensibility made Venom feel like it was living in a huge maze every day. Whenever Stark's mood changed, the entire maze reset completely. Venom, who was about to find an exit, was kicked back to square one.

Moreover, Stark was truly cursed with knowledge in his brain. As a symbiote, Venom could no longer keep up with the speed of Stark's mind.

Whenever Stark began to contemplate, Venom could only crouch in a corner, feeling countless symbols that it couldn't understand being thrown at itself. In simple terms, Venom was submerged in an ocean of knowledge.

What was even more worse was that while Stark crazily reset the maze, he also unleashed the flood of knowledge like a dam burst. Venom couldn't keep up with the speed at which the two states switched. One moment, it was kicked by the maze, and the next moment, it was washed away by the water.

Any intelligent creature with emotions has requirements for its living environment, and the symbiotes were no exception.

If living inside an ordinary person's body was like staying in a matchbox, although it might be narrow and stuffy, at least it was relatively peaceful. Living in Stark's body was like living on a dangerous planet filled with countless storms and lightning. Although there was enough space, life there was just too dangerous. Venom never had a moment to rest.

Originally, symbiotes and hosts shared one body and could constantly sense changes in their bodies and emotions, which was a unique talent of their race and the basis for their survival. However, now this talent had brought big trouble to Venom. Sharing a body with someone like Stark, Venom had to endure a life filled with constant crises like an adventure in a primordial jungle.

Stark was like an unsolvable puzzle, and his outward appearance was only a fraction of his true self. His infinite introspection and wisdom were enough to drown any outsider attempting to explore his inner self, including this symbiote.

The first emotion Venom learned from Stark was exhaustion. Not because Stark was exhausted, but being his symbiote was truly exhausting.

What was even worse was that Stark was currently in a period of immense pressure. Unable to alleviate this pressure, he had to find something to do to distract himself.

At that moment, an intelligent creature with special abilities from outer space happened to appear in his body, allowing to communicate with. It was truly a pleasant surprise. Was there a better subject for experimentation than this?

Stark treated the symbiote as his alter ego, sharing the same brain and completely understanding each other.

What amazing!

In the past, Stark couldn't find a suitable partner to share his genius ideas with. Peter is too young and can't handle too much pressure. Schiller is easily startled and only knows how to screw light bulbs. But now with the symbiote, Stark has someone to showcase his new inventions. However, Obadiah was no longer around, so Stark poured all his overflowing desire to share into Venom.

When Stark spent three full days without sleep, lecturing Venom on high-energy physics inside his mind, it developed a second emotion, which was panic.

Was this something a symbiote should learn???

This genius scientist urgently wanted to teach all his knowledge to another version of himself so that they could have discussions and exchange ideas. He finally had a true soulmate who could fully understand and experience everything about him.

Stark was filled with emptiness and the need for release, without considering the limits of what the symbiote could comprehend. He had never thought that even with brainwave communication, one could not expect a kid to absorb the essence of human knowledge overnight, right???

Venom was truly on the verge of collapse, like a student who knows nothing but is forced to attend an advanced math class. The third emotion that it learned was regret, a profound regret.

When Venom couldn't learn, Stark scolded it. When Venom felt wronged, Stark wondered why it would feel wronged.

"Is it easy, right? Can't you see my memories? Isn't that an open-book exam? You can't even handle an open-book exam? What kind of stupid mud are you?"

For a symbiote with exceptional learning abilities, physics and mathematics are not difficult. What's difficult is keeping up with Stark's unrestrained and almost philosophical and mystical invention ideas. Ninety-nine percent of the effort is not difficult, but that one percent of inspiration is.

Even as a symbiote, it is impossible for it to fully follow Stark's leaps of thought. Venom has been suspecting for a long time. Is Stark really a human? How can a human be so complex and unfathomable?

If he had just impressive intelligence, that'd be fine. But unfortunately, his personality is also a shit.

Stark leaves the hospital and walks on the street. Finally free from being cooped up in the lab with Stark, Venom keeps nagging in his mind, "Let's eat a human head, just one. Take a bite and eat their brain; it must be delicious..."

"Has anyone ever told you? The brains of ordinary people are like unquarantined zombie meat. You can't eat such unsafe food."

Venom transmits a feeling of doubt.

"You should have a healthier diet, just like me. You don't know? The brains of ordinary people hardly function, just like rotten fish without any preservation treatment."

"Taste! Taste is important! Understand? I would never allow you to eat zombie meat and taint my genius brain."

"Well, I know you aliens haven't had anything good to eat. How could you be interested in the ordinary human brain? It's just a mass of flesh made up of water and proteins. There's no any genius ideas that can change the world like me. By eating this kind of thing, are you symbiotic beings living off garbage?"?"

The symbiote emits a series of intense and angry brainwaves. Stark doesn't care and continues disdainfully, "So, the taste of your species is all like this? Or could it be that the brains of humans are considered good in the universe? How dumb must the other aliens be? Are humans the only ones with brains in the whole universe?"

"I can't believe it, a race that considers the brains of ordinary humans as delicacies. How lacking must your resources be? Want some cheese balls? Earth specialty. You can take some back for your poor brothers and sisters, my treat."

"We are not poor!" Venom angrily yells.

"But you act like a country bumpkin who just arrived in the city, seeing everything as good. Were you interested in those chocolate balls in that shop just now? Come on, is it safe to eat so many snacks that cost just a few dollars? Don't look again, I never step in such low-end convenience stores..."

"What? Eating the employees in that building? What are you thinking? Those people don't even earn enough for cheap apartments in a month, and you want to eat them? These people couldn't even pass the first interview at our Stark Industries!"

"The guy who was sitting in the Porsche just now? No way! His hair is blonde. I bet he used those flashy dyes. It's so disgusting, it smells like chemicals. I need to walk around him..."

"Turn my head back, don't act like a fool bumpkin." Stark says in his mind. "Don't lose my face, I'm Tony Stark, the genius scientist and the world's richest man. I'm not a teenager who looks around everywhere."

After saying that, he complains in his mind again, "Isn't there anyone in your species who is as handsome and wealthy as me? I feel like they would be a better match for me. And you, if not, just go find a big guy from the nearby high school's football team. You know, those white guys who are easily startled. They would be happy to buy you those cheap chocolates..."

The symbiote roars, "I want to eat now! I want to eat chocolate! And a human brain! Right now! Immediately! Otherwise, I'll drag you and crash into a wall!!!"

"Not now, wait a moment. Jarvis? Jarvis? Are you there? Help me place an order for some custom-made chocolate from the source manufacturer in Italy..."

"Yes, let them use the best cocoa beans... No! Don't use those public production lines! They're too dirty! I'll buy a whole production line separately..."

"How long will it take? Three weeks? That's quite fast."

"Tell them to hurry up... Oh, and make sure they adopt fully mechanized production processes. Don't let anyone's dirty hands touch my chocolate..."

"Packaging? No, no, no way! Their gold foil packaging is too silly. Get me a designer specifically from Italy. Design something more appealing, with Stark Industries' logo on it, preferably in gold and red. Use real gold for the gold parts, don't use those dyes to fool me..."

Venom interrupts, "I'll starve to death during these three weeks."

"Why are you so week? Are all symbiotes idiots only know eat?"

"No! Let go of me! I don't allow you to go into that kind of convenience store! Shit! Lemon-scented air freshener! Get out of here, I hate this smell!!"

Stark sways his body like he's fighting himself, and he bumps directly into the glass door of the convenience store. He firmly grabs the edge of the glass door and shouts, "I won't go into this damn place!!!!!! It's full of garbage from industrial production lines!! Just one look pollutes my brain!!!"

"Let me in!! Let me eat!!"

"No, I'm not!!"

"Get in!!" Venom also yells loudly.

"Never!!" Stark screams even louder.

"In!!!!" Venom is on the brink of collapse.

"No!!!!" Stark also becomes hysterical.

In the end, Stark sits outside the glass door. With his firm will, or rather, extreme preciousness, he wins this battle.

Venom is completely exhausted. The fourth thing it learns from Stark is to never underestimate a messy person.
