"Hello, Mr. Stark, your uncle often mentions you to me..."
Stark rolls his eyes and bluntly replies, "He also mentions you to me often, General Robert. He says you're a dimwit with only half a brain..."
The faces of the military personnel sitting across from Stark turn dark.
Stark is in a bad mood now. He has just finished arguing with Venom. This ravenous symbiote, always craving human brains, likes to pull Stark around and bang him into walls. Just moments ago, Stark received a bump on his head from it, and he is cursing at the symbiote in his mind.
"Please have a seat," General Robert gestures towards a chair.
"No need, why you brings me here? Speak up if you have something to say, otherwise, I need to back to have experiments."
These military people seem to be completely unaccustomed to Stark's straightforward style. Their usual negotiations involve half an hour of pleasantries, followed by another half an hour of chitchat, reminiscing about the past and envisioning the future half an hour. They spend twenty minutes showing their friendship and then finally discuss the actual matter at hand during the last ten minutes.
Stark has no interest in allowing their rules. It isn't that he can't pretend; he just doesn't see the need for it. He doesn't want to waste any more time on talking to these people. In Stark's words, every word spoken to these people is a waste of humanity's progress.
Finally, Stark reluctantly takes a seat.
General Robert stubbornly sticks to his familiar rhythm and starts probing Stark again and again.
Stark doesn't want to deal with him at all, but Venom speaks in his mind, "You seem to dislike him. Shall I eat his head?"
"No, eating the fool brains would lower my intelligence."
"Really?"
"Of course."
"Why don't you just beat him up?"
"I can't."
"Why? What about your sturdy clothes?"
"My sturdy clothes? You mean my Iron Man suit?"
"I want to wear that too."
"You need to wear clothes?"
"It looks interesting."
"No, that won't work. You can't operate it, and you might break it."
"I can! Trust me."
At that moment, Stark hears General Robert say, "We are genuinely interested in cooperation. I heard that one of your friends recently faces a similar problem. Just like Obadiah, I sympathize with what happened on my old friend. Fortunately, the military has a serum that can awaken brain activity by stimulating the nerves comprehensively."
"It is proven effective for patients in coma, allowing their brains to regain consciousness and regain control over their bodies."
Stark raises an eyebrow and says, "So you guys actually do something useful."
A lieutenant general walks in, salutes, and then two researchers place a box on the table. Once the lid of the box is opened, white mist floats out, with a syringe placed in the center of the box.
Stark has no specialized knowledge of medicine or pharmaceuticals. He is about to take a closer look at what it looks like when Venom suddenly becomes excited in his mind and cries, "It looks delicious!! Kill him and get it! It's tasty! It's useful for you! And for me too!"
Stark frowns and asks, "Based on what principle did you reach that conclusion?"
"My genes told me!!"
"Are your genes reliable?"
Stark feels Venom becoming increasingly agitated, even a bit deranged. General Robert sees Stark trembling all over and continues, "I know, Stark isn't doing well right now. We'd be happy to help you, considering your uncle's... "
"We are even willing to provide you with this serum free of charge. The military is very interested in the NT armor you have developed. Of course, we don't want those armors. Our cooperation with the Osborn Industries is going well, and the direction of biotech armor is also promising..."
However, nanotechnology gives us an advantage in information and intelligence warfare. You know,we can't afford to lose in these two battlefields, for the sake of more soldiers' lives. If the information can be more accurate, there wouldn't be so many sacrifices...
Robert seems deeply moved as he speeches, "I know that Stark Industries is not what those journalists say. I know that young Stark and his father are heroes who care about citizens..."
"Looking at it from another perspective, cooperation with the military is also to protect the lives of more soldiers, after all..."
Just as he says that, Robert notices Stark trembling. He thinks he has successfully broken through the genius's defense line and is about to push further. Suddenly, he sees a thread of black slime climbing up Stark's neck.
Then, in an instant, a huge black monster with sharp fangs appears in his sight.
Venom swallows General Robert's head in one bite, grabs the box containing the serum, and smashes through the window.
No one expects such a turn of events. One second, Stark is sitting there calmly. The next second, a mass of slime covers his entire body, transforming him into a nearly three-meter-tall black monster.
This black monster has a red tongue and sharp fangs, and it bites off the head of a general in one bite, snatching the serum as well.
The others are in chaos. But soon, several helicopters catch up with Venom's fleeing figure.
Venom leaps quickly on the rooftop.Even the machine gun fire from the helicopters can't shoot it.
Until it reaches an open space on the outskirts of the city, Venom stops and directly picks up a stone and throws it at one of the helicopters. The unlucky helicopter is hit in the rotor, emitting smoke as it crashes down.
The other helicopter runs out of ammunition and can only fly from a distance, not daring to get close.
Shortly after, the armed forces arrive at the scene. The struggle between Venom and Stark for control of the body slows down its escape. Stark desperately suppresses the overly excited Venom with his willpower.
Finally, Venom regains some sober and returns to Stark's body. Stark becomes back into a normal human, but he is facing a heavily armed military force surrounding him.
As the commander watches Stark return to human state, he doesn't let his guard down. Several soldiers in special suits approach.
Stark sees they are wearing armors. However, these suits are the ones he had provided to the military earlier, and they look a bit outdated and worn out.
As for Stark, he simply takes out a cigarette. A brand-new, beautiful suit appears on his body. He makes a mocking gesture and sneers, "Take these outdated things you stole from me back to your grandpas! They're still better than sticks, right?"
Around a dozen soldiers in exoskeleton suits approach. The leader glances around and extends his arm, saying, "Suit!"
Then Stark sees a layer of gelatinous film spreading from the bottom of the suit, instantly covering the surface, then closing the gaps, turning the entire exoskeleton suit into a complete green bio-armor.
Stark flies into a rage immediately.
"How dare you humiliate my inventions with Osborn's stupid ideas!!!"
Stark has never been this angry before. Even when the military uses public opinion to smear him and then pretends to be good guys, he doesn't feel such rage.
Ultimately, what Stark is most proud of are the various inventions and creations from his brilliant mind. And now, these military people dare to offer his suit to Osborn for modification!
They even add sticky glue to turn his suit into an extremely ugly bio-armor!!
Stark is truly about to explode with anger.
He takes a deep breath and asks in his mind, "Can you really drive my suit?"
"Definitely much better than them."
"Well…"
Stark extends his arm covered in the metal armor and exclaims, "Suit!"
In an instant, black slime covers his entire body.
Unlike the sticky and soft appearance of the other gelatinous substance, the black slime is like a powerful net that directly envelops every part of the armor.
But the suit is not covered by the slime; instead, it is systematically dismantled and transformed by the slime, becoming a new shape and covering the surface of the black monster's body.
Originally, Venom is almost three meters tall, but now he has completely turned into a four-meter-high steel monster.
It is a creature covered in sleek black armor. Venom seems to have inherited Stark's taste. His body is no longer rough and uneven slime, but a streamlined black armor from head to toe.
The head is no longer the ferocious big mouth filled with sharp fangs, but has turned into a helmet with two pairs of spikes on each side and a diamond-shaped steel visor in the middle, with the lower half of the face covered by a mask.
It must be said that this suit looks incredibly cool. Its overall shape is similar to Venom's, but taller. There are metallic spikes made of black slime wrapped around its shoulders, legs, and wrists. The mask on its head resembles a gas mask, giving it a terrifying yet aesthetically pleasing appeal, radiating a wild charm between metal and punk.
Even more importantly, the symbiote, which shares a mental connection with Stark, is controlling this suit. It means that Stark no longer needs manual control; he can control it in mind.
Stark moves his arm and feels the wonderful sensation. He can even clearly feel the touch of every exterior component exposed to the air, which is an incredible feeling for someone who is obsessed with suits.
He is the armor, and the armor is him.
"Alright," Stark says, "I'll show you what a real bio-suit is capable of!"
As soon as he finishes speaking, he jumps straight into the air and lands with a loud thud next to the group of bio-suit suits. He throws a punch directly at one of their heads.
The bio-suit suit warrior is sent flying, and Stark is somewhat surprised as he shakes his fist.
He isn't good at fighting, previously relying on Jarvis's intelligent algorithms to battle. But now, he actually has the feeling of personally using his fists to beat up his enemies. It has to be said, this feeling is quite enjoyable.
The giant black suit turns around and throws an uppercut. Compared to this towering creature, the bio-suit suit warrior, who is only two meters tall, seems like a little chick, instantly sent flying away.
Their suits were originally designed to counter Stark's Iron Man suit, but not to deal with a four-meter-tall monster.
Their bio-adhesive used to restrain Stark's movements, the sonic field that captured the trajectory of the Iron Man suit in flight, and the bio-gel joint enhancements that improved flexibility, are all useless now. The Venom armor doesn't fall into traps. Adhesive spray? Tear it apart. Sonic field? Completely useless. Flexible gel joints? Shattered with a single punch.
The combat style of the Venom armor is completely different from Stark's. In plain terms, it is all about throwing punches randomly. However, its absurdly strong physical abilities and super-speed regeneration give it an unbeatable advantage in this chaotic fight.
It doesn't take long before the group of bio-suit suit warriors is defeated by Stark.
However, soon, the military's heavy weapons arrive. The Venom armor makes a leap and jumps onto a nearby high-rise building, then continues running frantically.
Once it has shaken off all pursuers, Venom quickly retreats back into Stark's body, and the NT armor returns to its place. He lowers his head and looks at his undamaged arms and the pristine metallic surface of the armor, saying:
"Not bad, thanks, you mussy."
"You're welcome,you messy."
