"What?!!" Both Orion and Anastasia exclaimed in shock.
"W-why would you call him my h-husband?" Anastasia stammered, her cheeks turning tomato red with each passing second as she replayed Astarte's words in her mind.
Astarte chuckled once again, taking a mental image of her sister's priceless expression.
"There's been some kind of misunderstanding," Astarte revealed.
"Of course, there seems to have been some sort of misunderstanding on your part." Anastasia stated, hoping that she was right. But Astarte grabbed hold of Anastasia's hand and Anastasia's blue eyes glowed as several images and events were replayed in her mind, revealing a few things she might have overlooked while summoning Orion to the temple.
While this was happening, Astarte's attention shifted towards Orion and she said to him, "I'm sorry you were summoned here against your will but it seems you were mistaken for someone else."
Astarte tried her best to explain it in a very simple way so Orion could understand everything that had happened to him until this very moment, but hearing this only made him more confused.
"What do you mean?"
"I think it would be best to show you."
The moment Astarte said this, she clicked her fingers, and a cold wind blew into the temple before caressing Orion's face and body.
Orion's eyes suddenly closed shut as his consciousness faded and he drifted into a dreamlike state.
His body began to fall backward, but just before it landed on the ground, Astarte's rose quartz eyes glowed and everything around them began to shift and warp, transforming the temple into Orion's bedroom— it looked exactly like the one he had on Earth.
Orion's head was safely nestled on Astarte's thighs as several images streamed through his mind, allowing him to understand how he got to the temple in the first place and why Anastasia seemed to be so upset with him for something he barely remembered doing in the first place.
Last night, while he was having a drink with his colleagues, Orion's best friend, Alex, had borrowed his phone to surf the internet because Alex's phone was faulty.
The both of them were really close, so doing something like that wasn't really a bother to Orion.
However, Orion didn't know that Alex had logged into their favorite game's forum while Orion was drinking with the rest of his work colleagues.
The forum focused on discussions that were centered around the most popular adult game of the year titled 'Fantasy War'.
The game was divided into four series, and 'Fantasy War 4: Sinner's Conquest' was the most coveted adult game of the year.
Although most people loved the fourth series of the game, several people had the same opinion whenever the first and second series were mentioned.
Aside from the graphics not being good for the first series, it was also heavily focused on the story's plot rather than the adult content which angered a lot of people because they had been expecting some hot, steamy moments between the characters in the game but this never happened.
Still, this wasn't the most annoying thing about the first series.
The most annoying part about 'Fantasy War 1' was its final boss scene.
The protagonist, a really strong and courageous beast man with his warrior party, battled against two Greater Demons but lost against them.
There was no player who could defeat the two Greater Demons.
Most players were barely able to last for up to a minute when faced against the two Greater Demons.
The best progress ever recorded was a player who had lasted for three minutes before failing.
In the end, the two Greater Demons, along with their army of Lesser Demons, conquered the beast continent and killed a lot of beastmen while a few survivors escaped to the neighboring continents.
Many people blamed the bugs in the game for its inability to allow the players to defeat the two Greater Demons. But no matter how hard the players lamented to the game developers, no changes were ever made to correct the error.
In a nutshell, Fantasy War 1 was solely focused on the subjugation of the beast continent while Fantasy War 2 focused completely on the human continent, and just like the first series, people had a lot of complaints about the second series as well.
The graphics of the second series were a lot better than the first, and the steamy adult scenes seemed to be a lot more than the first series, but it was still heavily dependent on the plot.
These were still satisfactory improvements to the players, and they were a bit lenient in their criticisms.
However, the same couldn't be said about the main game plot of Fantasy War 2.
Unlike the first series, the humans in the second series were extremely weak. They were so weak that leveling up was extremely difficult.
Many players wondered if the developers were actually humans, for them to nerf the humans in the game so much that players began to wish for an option to choose a separate race as their avatar.
And because the humans were so weak in the game, defeating a Greater Demon was considered to be nothing but a pipe dream.
It was almost impossible to defeat a mere Lesser Demon, not to mention a Greater Demon.
It was also no surprise when the game ended with the protagonist running away with his harem while abandoning his own continent and leaving it to be conquered by demons.
This was where Alex's hatred for the game began. He and most players believed that the deities which were supposed to provide blessings and divine magic for healers to ward off demons weren't really doing their job the way they were supposed to.
In the first series, the involvement of the beast gods was heavily felt and noticed by players, but the deities of the humans seemed useless in comparison to that of the beastmen, and this was what caused a fierce exchange of words between Alex and a player called Goddess321
