Andrew sat on his chair looking at the tournament as his brain was flocked and overwhelmed by thoughts before coming to a conclusion. Assessing it,he knew what he would do much would seem illogical if not unreasonable but in his life, well at least in this one,he never had any regrets with what he did. Elspeth looking at him drowned in his world wondered what was going through his mind. 'Maybe he was rethinking it or something else?' She thought but after a while she gave up and paid attention to the ongoing fight.
Looking through the glass, lost in his own world the voice of the commentator boomed ,"And with that, one if not the most anticipated fight is about to begin. Between Luke Yashmoore and Eveyln Bloodheart." He remained seated before standing up from his seat, his eyes empty as he made his way towards the arena. Elspeth intrigued to see the outcome of the match. He noticed the people who stared at him but as he always did in both lives,he treated them as less of him and ignored them cause to him, they had no value whatsoever.
Unbefitting of even playing as pawns before the light shone on his face as he approached the arena as the light got brighter and the view came to his field of view. He made his way to an end before the commentator broadcasted his name. "Ladies and gentlemen, our very own student,a representative of the kingdom of Astria, Luke Yashmoore." He looked out of place completely calm as the expected deafening roars never came, only silence. Elspeth cheered in her heart before the commentator resumed, "And his opponent, the beauty and monster of Darwarke under the direct tutorage of Aldritch, Evelyn Bloodheart." Evelyn who was in the same chamber as Eva.
With her mastery of spatial element, she appeared on the arena in a split second as her body was enveloped with a dark fragments of an ominous aura to the common folk. "Since you are under the tutorage of Aldritch,I don't plan on going easy on you." She commented though the height difference was present. She was dressed in a fine armoury of black and red complimenting her pale fair skin as Luke continued to look unbothered in his royal blue robes. "Let the match, begin!!!" The commentator boomed resonating throughout the grounds.
"Who do you think is going to win?" Elaine asked Ciara. Ciara looked at the two figures seemingly frozen in place, neither moving from their place. "It's hard to tell as each have too much of a diverse fighting style each different with each match but I think Eveyln could win." Elaine looked at Eveyln as she took her fighting stance while Luke simply stood with his hands pocketed. "Why do you think she will win?" Ciara drummed her fingers on the armrest of her arm chair as her left arm supported her head.
"Comparing the two,she has had more than a month in training while his was less but that demeanor he has is a little unnerving." She said before trying to further study Luke's train of thought. After five minutes, neither seemed to take the initiative before he calmly stated ,"I would advise you to start cause you'll lose should I." She maintained her dormant expression but as time progressed,it was evident that he had no intention of moving. The people expected something more high paced, not two people standing on an arena doing absolutely nothing but they were too afraid to say this out loud.
"Do you have intrusive thoughts which simply tell you to do horrible things that make hell a better alternative?" She was perplexed by his statement. As of late,Andrew was losing his mind not because he wanted to but rather,he couldn't stop it and the voices simply got louder and louder before they were bursting out off his brain making a mess of his mental state. A quick analysis of it,the results were horrid. He was unwillingly summoned here taking a look at it, he saw the once grand palace was in shambles, cracked fully wrapped around in an unidentified black mass though what made it strange was that it seemed vaguely familiar. Numerous cracks could be seen emerging as the tentacles spread further all over degrading the structural integrity of it.
As it slowly gave way to the pressure, he could feel an unbearable pain overwhelming him mentally. He had made all necessary buffs and skills in existence to his mental state, making it receive no form of damage regardless of the attack on him, similar to his body but now it gave way, seemingly wrapped up. He took a few steps forward before falling to his knees due to the pain he felt. Like his brain was being blended up,twisted, deformed and restructured by a being he couldn't quite fathom.
"Arrgh!!!"
He groaned as it got worse and worse as the black tentacles started to wrap around him but unlike the structure, his body wasn't crushed and disfigured but rather he could feel a tug as his body was being dragged across the ground. He couldn't fight back as pain was the only thing that his brain could prioritize right now and how to get rid of it. Surprisingly,as his body was being vertically dragged upwards higher up the palace, the pain started to fade ever so slowly but it was too great for him to notice before he arrived at the Pinnacle of it. His body was suspended upside down moving ever so high up till he was completely up high.
Looking far off,he saw the palace crumble with more tentacles emerging more from the core of the palace. All of a sudden,a much thinner tentacles started wrapping around his neck as it's grip only got stronger and before he knew it ,he was being strangled alive. He tried to summon any weapon that he could but since under the high pressure,he was able to manifest a mundane looking dagger which he didn't hesitate to plunge it into the tentacle around his neck. He wasn't afraid of the damage to himself as he was basically a God in his own mental state so he couldn't die here but whether this principle still applied now,he didn't know.
But now he would rather focus on the life threatening stimuli around his neck than die like this. He couldn't die but rather he would be a step before it, experiencing the agonising pain as long as he was here. Trapped forever in this near death state. Upon the contact between the dagger and the tentacle,it bled black blood and at the same time a deep gush appeared on his rib before black blood started to flow out uncontrollably spilling all over his face and his left eye. Due to the pain,he let go of the dagger as he gritted his teeth. "Forget antimatter, what kind of pain is this?"
Though the blood kept on coming out,he couldn't see or understand how he was taking damage as it was neither physical nor affecting the soul. The tentacles in response to his provocation started bashing him repeatedly stabbing him on the precipice of the palace. A hole which grew larger and larger every single time his body was being impaled repeatedly though he couldn't ask for help nor fight back. Maybe this was his fate,to suffer here for eternity for the souls and wrong that he had done.
Raising his body up in the air before forcefully impaling it onto the vertices of the church replacing his abdomen with nothing before the tentacles tightened suddenly snapping his back in half like a twig then tossing his body out to the barren part of his mental state. His body in a wreck not to mention he couldn't heal,he was trapped with all of his limbs stuck in place before turning his neck side to side. Upon his back,he turned his head to the left to witness his version with both eyes gouged out before a large sickle appeared stabbing the lookalike before more appeared latching onto the body, hoisting it up before completely disemboweling and disfiguring it completely leaving nothing but blood and it's head.
It was then that he felt something, something familiar with the whole state but couldn't quite remember why it was as such. As he lay there distraught in his own mindspace,he heard two laughters coming not far from where he was. He tried to look at the source but unable to raise his head made it difficult leaving him helpless. After five minutes,he saw some white shoes but couldn't make out who it was. The person squatted to his level before pushing his body over giving Andrew a view of the beings present. The one who pushed him over was adorned in golden robes and a red smiling mask while the other was dressed in black robes with a frowning mask. The only thing similar with the two was that they both had blood running all over their bodies appearing in patches.
"We meet again. Though I'm sure you don't recall us due to a small unfortunate misfortune but it will make sense later." Andrew blandly looked at the two. "We are simply principles. Your principles of your past self." Omniphinx had told him about principles, that only those above could muster enough will to issue a decree for all existing being to abide by to their choice or not. Andrew asked Omniphinx if he could do the same to which the answer was no. Only one being could synthesis such decrees with that being God. Even he couldn't give out such decrees with his Overwrite skill no matter how hard he tried.
"It would be quicker to assimilate than explain the whole story. By the way, I'm Hedonism and that..." Pointing at the black robed individual. "Is fear. Your creations of another time. A past incarnate." He looked all over his body. "How greatly you've fallen but as you had it planned, let it resume." He stretched out his hand as if giving Fear to take over. He started to float along with the two far up giving them a sufficient view as the palace was completely wrapped up by the tentacles and seemingly dragged into the gaping white void from which the tentacles emerged from.
"Stop." He commanded but the two acted as if they hadn't heard him. "You'll understand." Fear spoke in a neutral voice before he was let go. Falling into the white crack, his last image was of the two individuals floating each with their own set of wings similar to his. Hedonism had an ominous red six pairs of wings while Fear had an unnerving calm and peaceful golden glow aura around him before his body fell into it. From the dark color landscape of his mental state to a world,a realm seemingly desolate in all white as the tentacles disappeared into nothingness leaving him here.
His skills proved useless,he couldn't move, feeling suspended before he felt a grip around his waist but looking down, there was nothing there. The grip tightened before he felt his own eyes being gouged out of his sockets before passing out due to the pain. Unbeknownst to him,the eyes vanished similar to the tentacles and his hollow sockets replaced with black buttons sewn in place by nothing. After that, his body was cut in half as his heart was ripped out along with his organs before the two parts patched up together.
The organs were too deleted out of existence leaving only his body left with his brain and blood only. A hollow vessel suspended in the static void for eternity as a golden and red aura started to wrap around his body. After the dissappearance of Andrew into the void, Hedonism and Fear were left in the self collapsing mental state shattering similar to glass imploding. "The tournament is still going huh. Time for a restart." Hedonism spoke before the two vanished.
