There was a knock on Luke's door,Velair knocking the door wondering what was taking him so long. Getting no response,she barged in to stumble upon a rather intriguing scene. Luke and Elspeth were busy absorbed in their own pleasurable muses indulging in all kinds of fantasies seemingly oblivious to the world around them. "You two should hurry up or you're going to be late for school." She nonchalantly stated before excusing herself out. Why was such a scene to her so banal,well she had already engaged with Luke and Elspeth a couple of times prior so seeing this right now wasn't anything out of the ordinary.
A few minutes later,both let put their sexual fluids intertwining with each other as they grew closer to each other in their intimacy. Luke snapped his fingers instantly cleansing the two of them getting rid of the body fluids they were drowning in and any stench whatsoever. Jumping of the bed,he put on his clothes with the help of Elspeth and in the process casually issuing out teasing kisses and exploring her body. She would constantly shudder on his touch due to their moments prior since her body was still sensitive making it all the more enjoyable for Luke.
The two after dressing up,they went downstairs where their meal had been prepared before boarding Luke's carriage. "I'll be forced to pick up the pace to make up for lost time of we want to make it in time for school,master Luke." Stetson said as the carriage slowly picked up speed. "Very well, Stetson." Luke reassured him from within the carriage. The change in pace from their regular was noticeable but not that great and from Stetson's graceful maneuvering,they were able to make with a second to spare. Once they made it, Stetson quickly darted off leaving the two to head to the assembly.
"You nervous, Elspeth?" He inquired as they took their seats at the far back. It was mostly barren as the other students preferred to keep their distance away from him by sitting elsewhere save from where he was seated. "No. Just curious." She hummed as Luke's arm wrapped around her bringing her closer to him. Ever since that incident had occured,the teachers were a little lax when it came to reprimanding him so getting away with minor acts like this was plausible, provided it wasn't anything over the top,they would stay out of his way. Scott along with nine other teachers went up to the stage where Scott took the wheel for this one.
The fact that there were other teachers yet the only ones that Luke had run into were three was absurd. He could understand now but before,he couldn't wrap his finger around it. 'Maybe they were dettered by my status. Most of them are from average households so it would make much more sense.' On the other hand Scott doing the protocols as expected before getting to the most anticipated part. The part where students from other kingdoms would come over for a friendly competition to see the progress in not only the academics themselves but also the students.
The academy would be hosting this year till the very end despite whether all of it's participants were eliminated. As traditions of the Tausburn test. 'System,is Tausburn from this world or another?'

'Not yet. Some other time.' he thought as he would constantly run his fingers across Elspeth's grey hair braided into a ponytail. ' I do have a ponytail fetish but no need to alter it. I guess it rubbed of on me from Ashley.' At this point,he had altered so much from his humane self to the point his current nature was a mere sliver of what he originally was and to him, the only significant problem he had ever faced was maintaining his original humanity. Yet he always changed an aspect or two diverting off course from his primary goal. He had used Overwrite to reinstitute it but he always found himself changing something and in the end,he gave up trying to be how he was back then.
The rest of teachers could only observe from afar this incident unfold but to avoid complicating matters,they let it slip through their fingers. Coming to a close,he instructed the students to make their way to the arena. Unlike the previous one,this was bigger in comparison with all kinds of arrays and setups concealing themselves within. The purpose of these were to protect the students from themselves if one was in a grave state,they would be forcefully taken out. The reinforced walls and floor strong enough to withstand the output of the students up to A rank with bland looks. There were seats all around for the audience which had barriers protecting them to avoid any stray projectiles from the encounters. Naturally,it was suited for sparring and all forms of encounters,from long range to close quarters.
After the students had taken their seats according to their social classes,the opponents shortly made their appearance onto the frame. The students unlike them were adonered in green and white uniforms unlike them with black and gold. They were from the kingdom of Cordon. They had an arrogant air amongst them and as they made their entrance before taking their seats. Shortly after the teachers from both kingdoms met the other party's acquaintance before the event was kicked underway. A list of the contestants was presented to all with the scales right at the beginning favouring the students of Cordon,why,because Astria was short of students majorly from the side of nobles thus some of the nobles on the other side would have to face the meager middle class which they took as an insult.
They were well aware why but it still didn't sit well with them for they felt it was a form of ridiculement but they couldn't change it,only accept it as it is. The first two students started making their way towards the arena before engaging in a heated exchange of attacks. A Cordon noble against an Astria student from the middle class. The fight was long lived before the noble emerged victorious, out powering and outclassing his opponent. The scenario kept on repeating itself with few cases where Astria emerged victorious but the students from Cordon weren't overall happy as it didn't feel that much of a challenge.
At long last,the nobles from Astria were scheduled for a fight. The arena despite a few dents and cracks here and there looked overall fine. One of the ten nobles from Luke's class went on the arena against a noble from Cordon with anticipation lingering within the students about the outcome. Standing on equal footing,the two shortly clashed with sparks eminating from the collisions. The two would infuse mana into their attacks making it all the more enticing with their pace accelerating with each attack at the expected pace of two C ranks but there was a slight difference between the two. With the one from Astria an upper C rank whilst the other a middle C rank,the results started to show itself in the last moments.
Both the contestants were ragged from their their exchanges but the middle C rank was more drained than upper C rank. With one of his hidden attack up his sleeve, the middle C rank student was knocked off the arena bringing victory to Astria. This test was solely focusing an individual at a personal level so a kingdom could proceed if only they had representative,it still counted rather than doing it as a team exercise where multiple people would be locked in an arena facing each other off at the same time. To some extent Luke was a little disappointed with this feature being absent in this world but it didn't bother him that much.
Along with Elspeth,he didn't need to observe the fight because there was nothing worthwhile to note despite the victor. It was an upper and middle C rank fighting with state of the art manuals, straight from the books making this fight lackluster overall for him and a selected few. From then on,the fights got more intense with each capturing the attention of the audience, making them at the edge of their seat except for a few those including Nigel,Connor and Elaine's. Ciara faced a little bit of resistance but she was able to pull through it. Though there were two unique fights in the entire arena of the day,with that being Elspeth's and Luke's.
Elspeth landing on the arena looked at his opponent. He had a well built physique, fiery amber eyes and a hard earned expression on his face with a steely resolve. His name was Rex as acknowledged by his fellow students. Despite being a noble,he had a fierce attitude not the expected calm and collected type expected from such but he was more of an animal facing his opponents. Looking down at Elspeth,he roared ,"I've heard about you. Elspeth, right?" She replied casually with a stoic face. "Yes." He tilted his head slightly making him more intimidating with his monstrous frame. "You are Luke's servant as I've heard but I can't understand why he would choose a peasant like you. I'm going to enjoy beating the shit out of you." He jestered.
Elspeth assessing his frame balled her fists taking on a fighters stance. "Don't you know anything about dueling? Or is it your tongue that'll be fighting." Provoked by her choice of words,he remarked ,"You shouldn't have said that. You might a weapon for this one." Elspeth drew out her dagger before dropping it on the floor throwing it Rex's side. "I don't want it to be too easy." She said bracing Rex's attack. From Luke, he told her that you should always let the enemy come to you. It gives you a small glimpse of what you are up against not to mention finding an opening with the enemy's approach utilising it to your advantage. After that,you should find it easier to progress.
Seeing Rex suddenly charge at her with full force,she observed any loopholes to which she found. For today, knowing that she would be engaged in a fierce battle,she wore something more maneuverable that clung onto her body but not too much to catch unwanted attention. Rex launching a devastating blow rendering a middle C rank staggered, expected to see Elspeth launched out of the arena but instead,she not only blocked it but also launched a counterattack on his collar bone making him jump back. Realising that the situation was more complicated than it looked,he gasped for air before looking at Elspeth who displayed impressive raw physical power without relying on mana.
Her slender frame contrasting her monstrous physical prowess made him raise his guard against her. Knowing that Rex wasn't going to make his advance, Elspeth took the initiative launching a barrage of attacks which gave Rex no openings whilst making Elspeth inflict substantial damage to Rex with each blow more devastating than the last resulting in a lot of internal injuries for Rex. He jumped back further puking a lot of blood from his fractured organs,a result of Elspeth's ruthlessness. Luke was amused with how Elspeth's nature was,from a shy,timid and sensitive girl when she was around him to a stoic, ruthless and brazen woman.
But he didn't care,he had naturally expected her to finish this fight with a single attack utilising her mana but going physical was something he had least expected. 'Besides,with her nourishment back then,it explains her indomitable physical strength as her body had undergone a life shattering change. He looked at Rex who now opted to use mana into his attacks seeing that beating Elspeth solely relying on his physical strength was off the table.
