The overseeing teacher Scott began giving a short winded speech as he understood that the students were eager for the results and from their exhaustion,they didn't have a lot of time. "And with that being said, let's get to the results." Lawrence started from the tenth position going upwards intentionally leaving out the points to see the students' reaction.
"And in sixth place,we have Nigel." The students clapped and jeered but Nigel was taken by surprise as he heard this. He had expected to be higher but he could only go to the stage. "Fifth,we have Ciara." She paused for a second before going up. 'If I'm this low then who's leading?' " Fourthly,we have her majesty, Elaine." Elaine was stupefied when she heard this. She had expected first or at least second place but fourth was too low for her expectations considering that they had subdued a A rank monster.Scott paused as s he waited for the tension to build up in the air.
"Alright,as all of you have expected,the top three will now be mentioned. And truly this year, it's unique." He laughed before he proceeded ,"In third place,we have Connor." 'It's clear that there is something wrong with this scale.' But he went up on the stage ,"The one in second place is actually from the lower class." Everyone was simply stupefied with what they heard. Never in the history has there ever been anyone from the lower class ever been in the top ten and now there was and in second place at that. "Please give way to Elspeth." She went up with a slightly nervous expression as she looked at the crowd which was dead silent from shock. Scott was absorbed by this reaction before he finally said. "And in first place,we have Luke." He walked with grace disregarding the crowd's state. "Let's give a round of applause for the top scorers." He said but the crowd still hadn't recovered and Connor was the first one to voice this.
"Excuse me Teacher Scott but are the statistics correct?" He said with furrowed brows. "Couldn't be more correct. Even we were shocked but it is what it is." Elaine chimed in ,"Excuse me teacher but how are their points higher than ours." She said as she looked at Luke who looked down on her from the podium standings. "I adore that look on your face Elaine." Luke scoffed before Scott took over. "According to the statistics that were brought in, nothing is out of order." He cleared his throat before he said ,"But to convince you,then we'll have to tell you the points accumulated."
He then looked behind him where a large screen was projected showcasing the results to all.

At first glance at this,the scales looked rather off. Other than Luke's points,it seemed the rest were all over the place. "I'm very aware that you may not discern why the records are that way but it'll make sense soon enough. In this year's test,there were students who were able to subdue A rank beasts and multiple of them at that. The stars at the end signify how many A rank monsters were subdued." The crowd went into a frenzy as such news was simply too groundbreaking not to mention it had never happened in the history of the academy. Luke simply handed his ring to Connor who was still shook standing at the podium.
"Two for her and two from me." He said pointing at Elspeth. "Come on. Our ride's here." He said as he walked towards his carriage. Elspeth shortly followed and after the two excused themselves, Connor took out what was in the spatial ring only for four A rank carcasses to fall out and laid on display for all. Everyone could feel the faint aura eminating from the corpses so it was rather evident that the cores were genuine. "I do have one question for you Luke?" Vanessa asked as she saw Luke who was about to board his carriage. He froze and looked back at her. "Yes Miss Vanessa."
"How were you able to hunt down four A rank monsters and tame the fifth?" 'Wait! There was a fifth!' Luke replied with a small laugh ,"Well,we used neurotoxins to wear them out and once they were stationary,we took their mana cores. As for the midnight black panther you saw." He said pulling out a small well crafted golden whistle. "An artifact that can control beasts for a limited amount of time." He then put it back in his pocket. "And why did you team up with her?" This question came from Elaine looking at Elspeth. Obviously overshadowed by Luke was painful enough but a peasant was too much. "I realized that during my hunt that I needed a companion to watch my back." "But you found her after finding the panther so watching your back wouldn't have been an issue for you. Not to mention your skills to accompany it with your B rank, having a middle C rank would only slow you down." Scott retorted expecting Luke's answer.
He was right,he could have done it easily without her help yet he decided to so and the fact that the two weren't acquainted made things rather weird. "Because I was lonely." He stated before ushering Elspeth to board the carriage. He promptly followed and the two left the scene. 'Because he was lonely.' An excuse such as that from Luke would definitely take everyone by surprise. He was known for being absolutely ruthless considering the duel and preferred his own company as he usually repelled others away from him so seeing him suddenly take interest was a shock.
They could only see the carriage drive off into the distance and the rest snapped out of their shocked before the second phase of the test was concluded. There were four people who still hadn't recovered from this naturally being Connor, Elaine, Ciara and Nigel. They had put in their all only to be overshadowed by Luke who did minimal effort in defeating them. Though they weren't aware of the tools he used,they still couldn't believe it. Elspeth only further added salt to the injury. They could sense that she wasn't tired or hurt at all so the only reason why Luke chose her was to further ridicule them in the test.
As they made their arrival at Luke's mansion,Luke took the responsibility of showing Elspeth's new living quarters which was next to his room. The place was huge so the room was easy to come by. "But maids can't sleep under the same room as their master." She refuted as she was admiring the beauty of the room. "You're my personal servant so consider it an exception. And I had your situation taken care of with your mother fully cured." She made a small bow but Luke intercepted her. "You cannot do that regardless of where we are. At school, you're a student but anywhere else, you're my maid with special privileges and consider this one of them." She couldn't reject his generosity so she accepted it with open arms.
During dinner,Liam was the last to accompany the rest. He noted Elspeth who sat next to Luke but he decided to ignore this. "Since you will be working for me,you might as well know my true identity Elspeth." Luke said and his guise of Luke wore off revealing Aldritch. She was taken aback by this but seeing the nonchalant attitude from his parents,she found it a little weird. "Do you know who I am?" He inquired as he continued to feast.
"N-N-No." She stuttered looking at Aldritch. "I'm Aldritch, or the king of Darwarke if you will." She had heard of the king of Darwarke but never knew his name or see his face. She had heard rumors about him of how powerful he was overturning two kingdoms in a span of few days and his level unparalleled. She had expected to feel a suppressing aura from him but nothing ever happened. "I came from Darwarke,took over Luke and now I'm living his life. His parents are well aware of this and have generously agreed for me to keep staying here."
This was the king of Darwarke who seemed rather young for her expectations. She had heard that the king was surprisingly young and had a mesmerizing face and captivating jade green eyes but to think that she would sit next to him like this was unprecedented. She took in deep breathes before she asked ,"That's why Luke's character changed in a single night?" He laughed before responding ,"Yes." She looked at him and saw a relaxed face which surprisingly made her relax. "As for your position as my maid. I mean it as both identities before I grow weary of this one."
"Why are you doing this?" She then asked against her will before she realized that he was doing something. "Do you remember what I told you earlier? About the glamorous lifestyle is just too much so I do this to sate my boredom. However this is only temporary and you will still keep your position as my personal maid even with my identity as Aldritch. "With control over two kingdoms, finding servants shouldn't be a problem." She cupped her hands over her mouth preventing herself from talking. "Yes it's easy but there's something more I'm looking for Elspeth and you have it. There will be five of you as my personal maid so consider yourself honoured to be my first."
He stood up from his chair and ushered her to accompany her."Come on." She stood up and the two went on a small walk with Elspeth walking beside her. They came to a stop in the rose garden with their faces illuminated by the moonlight. "If you do not want this position, feel free to tell me." She looked at him before giving a prompt answer ,"I'll serve you to my fullest of capabilities." He looked at her. "Your fighting capabilities and rank are too low for my taste. I'll teach you on your techniques and help you with your progress for the last part of the test." He once again closed the distance between them and close to her face ,''Let's finish off what we started." A light kiss before the two appeared in his room but strangely enough,there was someone else in here.
"Hello Velair. It has been quite some time." She simply undressed before giving a smile ,"I heard you were looking for me." Elspeth was too absorbed in the moment to actually be shocked by this and the three started their little game Aldritch displaying complete dominance over the two. The three were lost in their satisfaction and fulfilment of ecstasy that they lost track of time going up to the late hours of the night. They would have kept on going but the ladies simply lay exhausted from the activity with their bodies covered in sweat and arousal fluids from the shameful games Aldritch would play.

Waking up with the two ladies on either side, Aldritch wore his disguise and went on the balcony overseeing the garden. The view was splendid as the scenery was truly breathtaking. He took a shower shortly after and realized the ladies had excuses themselves to clean up. He put on his mundane clothes and have his regular breakfast with Elspeth before the two went shopping. She had new clothes in her wardrobe but he wanted her to feel more free around her taking her to the best clothes designers were around trying out various dressings since money was clearly not a problem. This day was spent investing on her solely as he wanted to make a good impression without resorting to mind control. Time waited for no man but he was a man who had manipulation of time at his fingers and this day quickly came to a close.
