A servant came barging in with an annoyed attitude ,"I don't know nor do I care who you are but the are the royal family is claiming ownership of this table so I would kindly ask you to leave." Luke retorted ,"Why would I leave someplace that's mine? It's equivalent to going to the castle and telling the royal family to leave because it's my place." The servant looked closer to realize that it was Luke and a beautiful miss who were seated here. "Tell the royal family to leave before I kick it out." He added wearing a carefree look.
The servant left with a dejected look and shortly after the royal family along with some invited guests made their appearance. Rebecca, Elaine, Leonard and the last two being Connor and Ciara. At first they couldn't believe that Luke and Elspeth were here as the only people who had access to this room was the owner and them only. "Why don't you go back to your assigned room before things get out of hand,your majesties."
Without a tinge of respect he remarked looking at the party standing right infront of him. They could feel it but they were shocked by the miss who sat next to him only for the three to realize it was Elspeth. The difference between then and now was vast to the point they thought it was someone else. Ciara was slightly disheartened by this sight but still,she had to remain strong. "Who do you think you are to order us around?" Leonard stated as his eyes threw daggers at Luke. Luke stood up and looked at Leonard in his golden eyes. "I'm the owner of this fine establishment so please leave. I'm in a very important meeting so please try not disturb us or I'll be forced to kick you out."
"What do you mean you own this place? This place has no sole owner. Rather it is owned by a multitude of people." Ciara said interjecting the conversation. "Simple. I bought it from them and now I own it. This is your last warning so don't test my patience." The multitude of people were simply a disguise for Horace and since he had assimilated his organization,he owned this place and the people standing in place were all relieved form their task resulting in him having full ownership of the place. He gestured for them.
"You don't have to put up such a show darling,we can go to our room." Rebecca said trying to appease Leonard and Elaine. Luke went back to his seat and looked at them leave with a dejected face but before they left,he added ,"But since you rudely interrupted my appointment. I'm sorry to say that the royal family will no longer be allowed at these premises." He knew what he was doing but he wasn't planning on stopping. "Wait till my father hears about this." Elaine said as she stormed off with the only one left being Connor. "Just because you won this time means that you'll get away with it everytime." His face portraying his anger.
"I'm sure you'll do your best Leon." He said as he proceeded to dine with Elspeth. "How do you know my former name?" He asked with a horrified look. "You're still here." Luke said as he released his aura pushing Connor off the balcony and into the waterfall. Connor had never been so ashamed or so scared in his second life. 'He said that there wouldn't be anybody who knew about my reincarnation but he knows. Sure I knew it would happen eventually but not this soon and with it being the antagonist.' Connor said as he got out of the small lake drying himself off with a small fire spell. "Just who does he think he is?" Leonard thought as he left the premises. "We can still have fun elsewhere." Rebecca trying to divert their attention elsewhere.

"Are you worried Elspeth?" Luke asked as he saw a nonchalant look on her face as if he hadn't sent away the royal family. "Why would I be?" She asked before resuming her meal. After they were done, the two went a stroll as they admired the gorgeous scenery Elspeth recommended since Luke wasn't aware of the places,only the restaurant. The two had fun before heading back as they admired the starry sky together. Soon after their arrival,Liam was waiting for them at the door putting on an anxious face ,"You chased away the royal family and their familiars because..." He asked waiting an answer.
"Because I own the place. The place was under Horace's and since Horace works for me,the place is mine. As for the speech the king may have addressed to you,I couldn't care less so pardon me." He said as he went past him with Elspeth towards his room leaving Liam rather conflicted. He would face the king's wrath because of a man he couldn't talk back to placing him between a rock and a hard place. For tonight Luke gave Elspeth a little space as he didn't want her tired for tomorrow as they had to report back to school but that didn't mean Velair was entitled to this.
Elspeth found her new life quite comforting as the menial work was done for her. The two finally arrived at school and as expected the changes had been done with Elspeth sitting next to Luke and taking advantage of the situation had the two moved to the back of the class. Most were disgusted by her presence because of her origins but they didn't display it infront of Luke. "We're going to be in the same class as her." Ciara asked looking at Elspeth who sat next to Luke reading a book while Luke was fast asleep.
There was another female student by the name of Jasmine along with Carl who couldn't stand it and decided to do something about it. They walked all the way to the back before Carl slammed his hand on her desk causing her to look up at him. He was still unable that it was her but he decided to remain unfazed by this and ordered ,"I'm well aware that you may be favoured by Luke but that doesn't change the fact that you're still a peasant." Jasmine taking over ,"You better not be here before the teacher gets here so beat it trash." She looked at them before resuming her book.
With a hit to their ego, Carl roared ,"Didn't you hear what she said! Pack up your things and leave." They were too loud making Luke to wake up ,"Well if it isn't wretch. I hope your knees are fine and all healed up." He mocked him. "Get your acquaintance to leave." Jasmine spoke revolted by Elspeth's presence. "Why would I do that to my servant? Or would you like to take her place." Carl and Jasmine looked at each other ,"She's your servant. That's great now tell her to leave." Luke got rid of his sleepy haze and wore a more serious expression. "Make her leave,if you can that is." He then went back to his sleep.
Before the two could press the matter any further, Vanessa came in and ordered the students to take their seats. "As you all know Elspeth who placed second place will now be studying in our class thanks to Luke's courtesy." 'The only reason why she was second place is because of Luke.' Most of the students thought. "But now it's time for the last segment of the Tausburn test with that being the spars." She said before presenting a list of the combatants and their opponents. Most of the students were disheartened as they already knew that Luke had the highest chance of succeeding after the previous spar that occured.
"Now from the last spar that occured,Luke, Connor, Elaine and Ciara will automatically qualify for a spot at the upcoming competition." 'Mixing a competition passing it off as a test is a first.' Luke thought. "As for the rest of you,all of you will be required to participate including Elspeth." From then on the spars started with gamblings taking place with certain students emerging victorious. As the matches proceeded,the times in the fights took long except for Nigel's and Elspeth's fights. "Did you know that she was this good?" Scott asked Lawrence. "No,I didn't. She never was good at fieldwork rather she faired better in theory."
"Maybe that's the reason why he chose her. It would make sense." Vanessa commented as they witnessed her matches. She usually used mana in her attacks without giving her opponents time to collect their thoughts. She avoided using brutal force as she was warned by Luke which would result in her overseeing flaws. Make the first move,if the opponent is still on their feet then try something else.She kept this in mind and faced against Jasmine and Carl which resulted in their devastating defeat leaving a bitter taste in their mouths. They were beaten by the same girl they were insulting earlier who didn't spare a single second glancing as their bodies went on flying out of the arena.
During this,Luke was summoned by Regald in his office which surprisingly was accommodated by Vanessa and Scott. "Do you know why you're here?" Luke at the teachers who sat infront of him. "Because of the incident at the restaurant and the test?" Scott began ,"Why did you chose to help her of all people?" Not only him but the other two were curious. He could have easily won but he chose to take a low class student with him. "Because I saw the potential in her." He let out a small laugh ,"And how do you explain her combat prowess. She might as well be another person."
"She's a fast learner." Scott lifted his hands in exasperation. It was a straight insult to the academy's face as he had made her a monster in the span of two days while the rest of the students were getting annihilated by her. It meant that the academy was simply joking around. "What did you teach her?" He flatly replied ,"The normal stuff." Vanessa interjected ,"At the restaurant,you got yourself in big trouble with the royal family,you know this right?" He looked at her piercing red eyes ,"You've done your investigation and by now it's known that I own it after the death of Horace." The principal glared down at him.
"Only a few people knew about Horace's death,so how do you know?" He asked. "That's due to my beneficiary. He told me that Horace passed away so he gave me his restaurant to run it before a replacement was found." Scott asked ,"Who is your beneficiary?" Luke looked at the ground before looking up. "You all know him. He goes by the name of Aldritch. He helped me and Elspeth's with our training." The three went silent. "How do you know him?" Luke gave a small laugh ,"It's quite funny. He found me to be precise. He said that he wanted to help me with no payment. I don't know why he would do that but I accepted and here we are."
Vanessa asked ,"When did this happen?" He paused before replying ,"That would be the night Ciara ended my engagement with her. Anything else." The Scott asked ,"How strong is your relationship with him?" "Hmmm, it's pretty good. He said he would help me with the spar tournament along with Elspeth without breaking the regulations of the tournament. That's all I can say. Am I excused?" Regald looked at him discerning his posture ,"What's with that aura around you? It feels extremely powerful and dangerous." Luke commented ,"Impressive insight. Actually Aldritch had us training someplace else very powerful. It wasn't even in this world to be honest. Can I leave now?" Vanessa asked ,"One last question,how does he plan on help you?" Luke said as he stood up ,"He said that he would give us a weapon for my capabilities. Anything else is out of my knowledge. Excuse me."
"And I chose Elspeth on my own accord,not Aldritch's." He said over his shoulder before he left the room.
"You're still here Ciara." Elaine asked noticing how much she anticipated the match. Connor was also here waiting to see how this fight would turn out as Elspeth was related to his only rival,Luke. They weren't the only who wanted to see this match between Nigel,a class star and Elspeth,a girl who had a humble background. Nigel could overhear most of the students gamble on Elspeth over him,the reason why,she was associated to Luke. He wanted to prove them all wrong but sadly,the game wasn't set in his favor.
