The rest of the day went on as usual with the rest of the class being more fearful of Luke whereas Connor was at the infirmary recovering as the injuries received from Luke took longer than expected to heal. The day came to it's end with Luke gaining fear from the students whereas attention from the teachers. When all the students had already left in the teacher's lounge ,"Well this is going to be a problem." Scott said in deep thought. But it will be more clear after the test." Vanessa said in a lazy manner. The two teachers looked at Vanessa knowing what she meant. After a few weeks, the Tausburn test would begin. It would involve all three streams which were present in the school as they would undergo a test combining their skill both mentally, physically and their use of mana. After the five people were chosen, they would represent the school amongst the others of the other four human kingdoms. Most strived to live easy lives but the tests would obviously be hard to separate the gems and the residue.
The first test would begin in a few weeks with it being paper test varying from the various ways of utilisation of mana to battle strategies all in form of theory. Most students failed this part with each year's test being harder than the other one. Cheating would result in automatic suspension not to mention the penalty one would receive afterwards. It was one of the occasions that would gain a lot of attention as it progressed from both the people and people from the higher class. It would enable those of the lower class to rise up the ranks or get a backer whereas who were the offsprings of the nobles and counts would rise even higher. Though this time many wondered how it would be with the existence of Aldritch as he had already conquered Mordant and it was currently under Eva's rule. The one actively ruling it was the queen of the fallen king who was answerable to Eva. Most saw Eva ruling the kingdom but they knew that she wasn't in full control rather Aldritch who seemed not to care much about it as she made decisions without his approval. It was one off the things he had told her to feel free to do.
Getting off his carriage,Luke instantly met his father who had a frown on his face ,"I can't believe you punched Ciara." He clamoured but Luke walked passed him with a small smile ,"It was a simple spar. So don't get too upset with it." Luke walked past his father heading towards his room. "You can afford to offend the royal family but we can't. So be more considerate about your actions." Liam spoke making Luke come to a sudden halt then looking back ,"I do not care whether you live or die. As for the charade, making your corpses as puppets won't be hard to do." He said before leaving. Liam looked at Luke gritting his teeth. Any impulse he would do would be brought to him making him clean up his actions. Ciara's father Christopher Haldigard spoke to him earlier through a small ball infused with mana for long distance communication complaining how Luke had brutally hit Ciara. A few minutes later, he was addressed by James who went on about how Luke tricked Elaine making her lash out losing her royal composure. He cursed Luke but there was nothing more he could do before heading in. Opening his bedroom door,he saw Luke on his bed with a calm expression on his bed."What are you doing here?"He exclaimed but Luke didn't answer. Before he went on, his wife Velair came in before standing between Liam and Luke.

Luke said gesturing him to leave in which under Luke's command,his body did but his mind refused till he got out of the room closing the doors behind him heading outside. He gained control over his body but everytime he tried going to his room, a sharp pain rang in his mind rendering him unable to move falling on the floor. Inside the room,Luke got up looking at Velair while sitting on the comfy bed who stood with a resenting face on her. After enjoying his meal,Luke got up and went to the garden outside taking in the cold air standing amongst the flowers. "Would you like a coat,master Luke?" A servant asked behind him. "I'm fine Stetson. You can leave." He said without looking at his servant similar to a butler. He looked up at the moon which lit up the night in it's transcendent glow making it livelier. 'The Tausburn test will begin giving the leech the space to shine. After it's over, he will meet his demise as he is bound to set off after it's completion in order to become more powerful.' He could kill him right now but the plot would save his ass though not for long. Looking at it he reminisced the night he was with Ashley taking out the body of Cassie. Not the best thing to remember but it was better than nothing considering his memories weren't exactly a sane person would think of but he didn't mind.

"Please follow me Luke." Compared to the Principal's office, the lounge was weirdly more spacious though the furniture was pretty standard. Luke had already made himself comfortable on an adjacent seat whereas Scott was leering outside the huge glass window overlooking the entrance of the school. "Do you know why you're here Luke?" He asked continuously looking outside the window. "Does it have to do with the spar or the test?" Luke said in a nonchalant expression. Taking a break from looking outside taking a seat,he looked at Luke ,"It's both actually."
