A week after Mordant had fallen into the clutches of Darwarke, Eva was hosting a ball welcoming the kings and queen's of the other kingdoms. The castle was well decorated for the occasion and the rulers from the kingdoms were well attired. Though most of them were congratulating Andrew and Eva for their victory, Andrew and Eva knew the main reason why they were here. From all the kingdoms came their respective rulers trying to get favor from the rulers of Darwarke as they had never anticipated that such a turn of events would occur. The other three rulers from the human kingdoms were both king and queen. The three kingdoms of the elven were all queens and for the two dwarven kingdoms, they were only king's present. Though the two dwarven kingdoms may be low in terms of numbers, but they were the ones who could mine and refine Ytterbium so they had an alliance with the other kingdoms to fall in a peace agreement where any form of violence to them was forbidden and in exchange, they would provide Ytterbium to the other kingdoms. Most of them were chatting involving in affairs of their kingdom and negotiating about their economic development and exetera.
Andrew looked at the people infront of him looking like an oddball as he was the only one with a nonchalant expression compared to the faces of his guests. Though there was someone else who had an ugly expression and it was the king of Astria. Recalling how he had encountered Andrew earlier only for him to realize now exactly where he stood and what he could do. He was hoping that he wouldn't be in a sour mood and declare war on their kingdom but seeing how passive he was,it seemed that he didn't care. He was accompanied by his wife and his children as they were allowed to bring guests along. "You don't seem happy. Anything bothering you?" Eva popping out of nowhere asking Andrew who was isolated from the rest as he was out in the garden. "Just not a fan of associating with other people, that's all." Andrew replied looking at her with a tender smile. "I've been able to secure some alliances and our economy should start to recover." Trying to lighten up Andrew's mood before saying ,"Well the feast is about to begin and it certainly would be rude if you weren't there." Andrew gave a short sigh before resigning to Eva. They walked back in in a graceful manner with their arms locked till they arrived at the banquet and respectively took their seats. Andrew sat the end of the long well prepared table as various foods were set for one's choosing. He looked at the other rulers noticing that they all looked at him with curious expressions.
'Take over system' Andrew mentally told his system.
[{As you command.}]
Andrew's view faded and his jade green eyes changed to blue. He appeared back at his mental plane seeing the palace once more. His system would take over for him and act on his behalf and perform any action Andrew could. 'Tell me when the party's over.' He said once more before going inside. Not dwelling here for to long and he already ran into his lookalike. He still wore what Andrew had worn before his death as usual but now it didn't have that psychopathic smile to it. "Bill, are you there." Andrew asked and his lookalike was taken over. "My little puppet, what is it you require?" Overlooking what Bill said to begin with Andrew asked ,"Are there any others? Like me who can manipulate antimatter and if present, how many?" Bill looked at Andrew and said ,"Four others but you shouldn't bother yourself too much with that. Have you been able to learn the skill I taught you?". Andrew,"Not yet? Is it important?". Bill ,"That depends if you want to cross that barrier that is." He spoke in a relaxed tone. "Seems that there isn't anything else you want to ask or know, I'll take my leave." The psychopathic look on his lookalike faded reverting back to his regular self. He put on his headphones before disappearing from sight. Andrew didn't bother himself and started focusing on his soon to be skill. It involved antimatter so he couldn't will it to be adept in it. He tried over and over again ignoring the pain that would flow in his body as he was piece by piece disassembling himself at the molecular level then trying to reassemble himself.
He tried over and over again but he still couldn't get it right as the process proved to be quite troublesome. He had to convert his body to particles of antimatter for him to move them himself
and ignoring the indescribable pain, he had close to no command at this state as the particles would scatter in different directions thus he had to revert them back to matter state and the process would keep on repeating itself. He was frustrated by the results but he knew that such a skill would require dedication and an infinite amount of resolve. He kept on doing this till he was interrupted by his system.
[{The party is over Andrew.}]
[{Would you like to regain control over your body?}]
[{Yes, I would.}]
Regaining his sight, the first thing he saw was the carriage of the king of Elysa leaving on his carriage. It seemed much more grand compared to the other kings. "Are you sure you are not good with associating with others?" Eva asked in his embrace ,"Because this night went much more better than I had planned." Andrew had yet to be filled in the details but seeing the pleasant expression on Eva's face, it went well. "I'm tired." Andrew spoke heading inside. "Now that we have established good relations with other kingdoms, our economy should bounce back within a few months." 'In a few months huh. Seeing how the stage is setting, it seems that you'll be the villainess.' Andrew thought in his mind seeing how Eva's luck had making a rapid descent. 'Is that because she is associated with me?' He walked back to his room and soon separated with Eva as she went to her room. Lying on his king-sized bed with his arms outstretched ,'If my luck affects the ones around me then it's going to busy keeping the ones I hold dear.'
[{Bill>Or you could stay away from them permanently.}]
Andrew saw the notification he got from Bill but he ignored it before falling asleep. One more month and the year would be over. For most of it was spent with Andrew tutoring Eva and Eveyln on their weapon mastery and telling Eva about the protagonist that would make his appearance. "Why don't you just kill him when he appears?" Eva asked as they were in the garden. There were many kinds of flowers blooming everywhere. From roses to tulips and many more. They were seated under a tree in it's full bloom shielding them from the sun's piercing rays ,"Because what's the fun in that." Andrew said lying on his back looking at the tree and it's beautiful ethereal purple flowers. "If he is going to be such a bother, why not deal with him when he's weak." Eva said looking at the horizon. "Apparently that would prove troublesome as the plot would be on his side. Sure I could kill him then and his backer but another one would just appear later on. Thus I have to wait till his luck solidifies then I'll be able to kill him without facing anymore in the future." Eva found this conversation quite unbelievable at first but she believed Andrew. "Seeing how the luck is spread. He'll appear in Astria so that's where I'll be." The month was already over thus the year was concluded. Now a new year with fifteen months would begin a little strange to Andrew but it wasn't his earth so he didn't mind.
"Judging from what you said, are there any consequences for such an act?" Eva wondering about something. "Yes and it results in the heavens wanting to claim my head not to mention the rate of my death would be increased greatly but I'll maneuver around that. And there will be appearances of other parties that are probably in hiding. The god of this world will definitely make his appearance much later. And seeing your luck, he will try to subdue you but the necklace I gave you should neutralize your bad luck. At first though he will try to make a friendly alliance with you and I believe you won't disappoint me then. You could give him a little scare about his identity if it helps." Eva was stupefied with what she was hearing but knowing how Andrew was, she believed him and gave a short sigh. " My shadow should lend you a helping hand once in a while." Andrew stood up and pulled Eva up putting her on his back. "You can't carry me like this." She shyly exclaimed seeing her position and Andrew put her down. There was a festival to celebrate the new year and shortly after, Andrew gave his goodbye. "You're leaving again?" Eveyln asked in a sombre mood. "Hey, I'll be around and who said I won't keep my eye on you." Andrew with a smile on his face. "You should give it your all ..." Martha interjected ,"Don't worry about that. I'll take care of it." Eveyln looking at her mother with a scared look ,"You won't be too hard on me,right?" Martha didn't respond, only giving a menacing smile before thanking Andrew ,"We are indebted to you so feel free to come over at any time you want." Andrew ruffling Eveyln's hair ,"Sure thing." Eveyln started pouting glaring at Andrew who had messed up her curled hair. "Goodbye." Before stealing a kiss from Eva teleporting elsewhere. Eva was stunned but she recovered quickly looking at her mother. She wore a small smile but Eveyln had a taunting smile. "You better put in a lot of hard work in your studies." She glared before leaving attending back to her duties. Martha took Eveyln spending the rest of the day with her preparing her for her studies.
'Seems I need to keep a close eye on the protagonist and for that I have to enroll in the Magical Academy in Astria.' Andrew wondered as he stood before a mansion before heading in. It was the same mansion Ernest was gifted but ignoring the servants presents, he went straight to his office finding that he was absent. Ernest's wife was out running errands so the only one present was Lily. "Hello Lily." He spoke appearing behind her. She was busy drawing something but recognizing that voice she stood up immediately with a smile on her face. "Sir, you're back. Did the king let you out?" Andrew remembering that his last time here was him getting dragged off by the kingdom's knights. "Yes, the king let me out and now we can play." The servants were bewildered to see Andrew back as they clearly remembered the last time he was here but they didn't interrupt his game with Lily. The sun was setting ,"It's almost dinner and mom and dad should be back from their jobs." Lily spoke in an eager expression guiding Andrew inside. She first opened the door telling Andrew to wait outside so as to surprise her parents. Seeing that they had arrived ,"Mom ,dad , you will never believe who is here?" She spoke with a happy look plastered on her face. "Who is it?" Ernest asked in a lazy tone. "Guess?" Ernest giving a few guesses but we're wrong Lily said ,"It's the Sir who played with me and had a dragon." Both Ernest and his wife spit out their food which were in their mouths simultaneously.
"Where is he?" Ernest asked in a worried tone. The last time he saw Andrew was when he was getting arrested. "I'm right here Ernest." Andrew spoke standing behind him. "It's been a while, hasn't it?" He joked before making Ernest appear at a nearby seat taking his. Ernest never thought he would see him ever again.
"Don't worry Ernest, I only something so small from you?"
