Alicia put her face in her palms and exhaled out of frustration. She rubbed her face, almost peeling her skin along with it and sighed. She looked around as if looking for something to vent her frustration on, but when she saw nothing, she was able to calm down for a moment.
Alicia looked toward her door. For some reason, she hoped that Aaron would walk through the door so she could say sorry for being so harsh with him for no reason. She didn't know why she did so. Aaron had not done anything to make her angry, at least not knowingly.
However, a part of her also wished that Aaron would not come to see her at all as it would remind her that he was planning to leave again and thus, bring back memories of Isaac.
"You useless bastard!" she cursed her late husband inwardly, gritting her teeth bitterly.
