LOST TO CARNEGIE
Keystone saunders took one more shot of the alcohol placed in front of him. He was leading by one game. One more roll of the dice and he would be a billionaire. He would own one of the biggest mansions. All he need is one more roll of the dice.
Mr Carnegie passed the dice to him as he dropped a bundle of money on the table.
"You lose and everyone here gets a bottle of beer.I lose and everyone still gets the bottle of beer."
The crowd of expentant drunks cheered from behind. Keystone smiled inwardly. He knew what Carnegie was trying to do.He was fond of reminding everyone that he had more than enough money in his bank account. But today,in this very bar, he would show Carnegie what it meant to play against the one and only king of this bar.
Keystone raised the dice up for his fans to see it and they cheered even loudly.Yes,that's what he needs. To know his people still got his back.
"Go king!!" Cheered some his fans.
"Show him keystone!" The others added.
Keystone threw the dice to the table and what he saw before his own very eyes shocked him. It was four in two places staring straight at him. This is bad luck!!! This is total doom!!
The crowd booed and turned to face Mr Carnegie who smiled wickedly at Keystone. He rolled the dice over and it produced six in two places and the crowd cheeered loudly. He rolled it again and it still have the same declaring him winner.
Keystone watched as all his friends and the very ones who drank with him at the bar all of a sudden turned to Mr Carnegie hailing and shouting his name.
"Drinks on me tonight!!"Mr Carnegie shouted excitedly as the crowd broke into celebration."Everybody gets everything free.Bills are on me!!"The man said with an uproar.
Keystone saunders stayed rooted to his spot telling himself it was all a lie .This was just a dream and he would soon wake up from it.Two hefty men jacked him up from where he sat and brought him face to face with Mr Carnegie. Everyone stared in fear as Mr Carnegie lit his cigarette before puffing out smoke on keystone's face. A sign to show he was a loser.
"Forty eight hours, keystone.Forty eight hours for my part of the deal. If I don't get it within forty eight hours, you won't like the outcome."
And with that, the hefty men threw keystone to the ground with him landing hard with a thud. Mr Carnegie made his way out of the bar with a victorious smile. It was at this moment reality dawned on him.He had lost the bet and his very chance of being a millionaire.
Now,he is a debtor.
