The fireballs cut through the icy winds, striking the ice slime with ferocious heat. The creature recoiled, its icy form starting to crack and steam under the assault. Jason didn't let up. He continued his barrage, each fireball creating a burst of steam and leaving deep gouges in the creature's frozen surface.
Then, with a final, concentrated effort, Jason conjured an especially powerful fireball. He hurled it at the center of the ice slime, creating a hole that bored straight into its core. The intense heat melted through the layers of ice, exposing the creature's heart. The ice slime trembled, its form destabilizing as the fire burned deeper.
