As the group continued their advance, they encountered a few more enemies along the way. These adversaries, however, were not part of a main force but rather scouts. Their primary function was to delay the group's progress and relay information to their allies positioned further behind. These scouts engaged in hit-and-run tactics, using their agility and knowledge of the terrain to create obstacles and buy time for their allies on the base to prepare.
This experience showed the clear differences between fighting humans and battling monsters. Monsters, driven by primal instincts, often attacked head-on with brute force, making their strategies more predictable. Human opponents, on the other hand, employed cunning and strategy. They used scouts to gather intelligence, set traps, and create diversions, making the battlefield more complex and dynamic.
