In the end, Jason had to help them because even the woman was shaking all over thanks to her hunger. It was insane, but it looked like she and the kids stayed hidden in a pile of rubble for more than ten days. They barely had the chance to leave and look for food thanks to the conflicts of those three factions.
In any case, the woman had been looking after seven kids and thanks to that, Jason's stock of food was finished in no time. At least the kids looked better when they finished eating… as much as one could look while covered in dust.
"What happened in that city?" Jason asked.
"... We had a camp and fought together when the monsters were only goblins, but then all of a sudden, two weeks ago, those three armies arrived with their dungeons in the city," The woman explained. "We found ourselves surrounded and unable to escape. All of the members of the group died after being found when they went to search for food and water."
