Jason sniped the first ten enemies without failing even once, and he wasn't discovered either. Still, the difficult part was about to start… he had to deal directly with the others, so he headed toward them in a hurry.
"I should be able to do it… my mana is full, and with this much Regeneration of energy, I won't run out anytime soon," Jason thought while he was running.
Jason found one of them turning around as soon as he arrived in the area. The creature saw him and grunted before dropping the trunk on its shoulder. The others heard the sound and turned to the side, only to see their ally falling with an arrow on their head and then a puny human aiming at another.
Just as he had expected, the beasts charged toward Jason while protecting their heads and chests. That was pretty smart of them, they didn't underestimate Jason, but that wasn't enough. He soon put mana arrows on their legs and made them fall each one of them. The final one jumped after getting close enough to attack Jason, but he jumped to the side and put a Mana Arrow on its ear.
Despite their wounds, the monsters got up and tried to move toward Jason while still protecting their heads and chests. Their speed was laughable, so Jason took his time aiming at their elbows and destroying them so that they could not protect their heads.

The battle was over… almost. Jason left one of the monsters alive and was able to use one arm. In any case, he finished things quickly and with more ease than he had expected. Maybe he had some talent for fighting with a bow. Actually, maybe the fishing skills that he developed helped him with that. He knew how to control the line and the bait and how to throw where he wanted. He also was pretty good at catching them.
"Yeah, right… as if fishing and archery have anything to do with each other," Jason thought and then transformed his bow into the shield. "Hello, handsome. Do you care to give me a hand with this?"
The monster charged toward Jason, and while he blocked the attack with his shield, Jason was still pushed backward.

"Yeah, yeah, just like that," Jason said, his arms trembling. I guess the skill worked, but your strength isn't something to laugh at."
Although the skill worked, Jason still lost twenty points of health. That much was fine, though. Since he could recover all the damage in one minute… When he learned that, he felt a smile forming on his face.
"Whoops, I need to focus on this," Jason said and then approached the Enemy again. "I need to unlock the next weapon as soon as possible… The wind is blowing against me, so the smell of blood will soon reach their base."
At some point, Jason almost broke his arms, letting the Enemy hit him repeatedly, but at least he Mastered the shield in the blink of an eye.

Jason began to feel much better when he finished mastering the shield and then his regeneration increased. It felt like he was in a much better and younger body, and that was the thinking of someone who always had been fit and was only twenty-one years old.
"With this… maybe I can face the enemies head-on," Jason thought. "I can use mana arrows every three seconds, after all."
In the end, Jason slapped his cheeks to cool down his head. That morning, he was just an ordinary dude, and now, in the middle of the afternoon, he was killing crazy creatures… the blood was rushing to his head. There was no point in rushing to his death out of foolishness.
Still, Jason could only be so calm and cautious. Soon, night would fall, and he would get tired, hungrier, and thirstier. The answer for most of his problems lies in his infinite weapon. He initially thought that it was a simple weak item, even though it was that useful and had a Legendary rank.
"There must be others like this… and I should find them before others," Jason thought. "They will be in dungeons… still, why are they there and why did the bosses leave them there? Or did they?"
That didn't make much sense… At the same time, the part of the dungeon where Jason found it was too small for the boss… that was suspicious, but it was a problem for another time.
"I should focus on mastering as many weapons as possible and get more Bonuses," Jason thought. "and then attack the gray giants at night with the bow… they will have a hard time finding time. Let's focus on decreasing their numbers at close range, then."
