Lin Wei's mind buzzed with questions, but a prudent reminder of the system's limitations urged him to withhold them. Restraining his curiosity, he refrained from delving into inquiries he knew the system wouldn't entertain. "System, can you tell me how many wishes I've got?" he ventured cautiously, his voice tinged with uncertainty.
"Simply say Host Interface Window or just will it to display the Host Status window " the system replied promptly.
'As expected,' Lin Wei mused internally, a wry smile tugging at the corners of his lips. Having read countless novels in his past life, he anticipated that every system would come equipped with an interface depicting its master's status window.
"Host Interface Window."

*Strontest Person in the Current Area: Martial Emperor Realm (will only show the major realm the person is at)
*Minor Wishes Available: 5
*Major Wishes Available: 1
As Lin Wei examined the system interface, a mix of thoughts swirled in his mind. 'I anticipated having only 3 Minor Wishes, akin to the magical lamp or the Dragon Balls. But 5 isn't a vast quantity either,' he reflected, adjusting his expectations. 'Nevertheless, it should suffice for the current place I find myself in. I can use 1 wish for the strongest cultivation in Dragon County, while the rest would probably be techniques equipment and other things that I will need'
His attention then shifted to the solitary Major Wish available, prompting a sense of surprise. He had assumed that acquiring a Major Wish would require completing missions or achieving significant milestones. However, upon further consideration, he realized that this must be a bestowed gift from the system.
"You're correct, Host," the system interjected, preempting Lin Wei's inquiries. "The single Major Wish serves as a foundation for you in this world, and at the same time, it's a form of compensation for the system's late awakening."
Upon hearing the system's reply, Lin Wei nodded in acknowledgment, unsurprised that the system knows what he's thinking.
Lin Wei hesitated, torn between the two types of wishes. After careful consideration, he choose to use the Major Wish first.
"Now, what should I wish for with the Major Wish?" Lin Wei pondered, with uncertainty. "I'm not sure if the Major Wish will only grant me wishes confined to the Dragon Empire or this world."
"But didn't the system say that the Major Wish is not bound by any of the rules the Minor Wish is? So maybe, the Major Wish can grant wishes that are only exclusive to the Universe?"" Lin Wei's thoughts spiraled from organized to chaotic as he grappled with conflicting ideas.
"No, the system said that was just a possibility," Lin Wei muttered, grappling with his thoughts. "In the novels I've read, there's always a higher world," he continued, his mind racing. Shaking his head, Lin Wei corrected his assumptions about the novels' structure, "Although those novels depict a higher world, logically speaking, they're still connected to one universe. But then again, the system said it was only a possibility that I can only wish for things bound to this universe."
Lin Wei's conflicting thoughts churned within him for what felt like an eternity, before finally arriving at an answer. "Hmm, I'll just wish for things that I perceive to be beyond the universe. If it doesn't work, I can always fall back on wishes bound by this universe," he resolved, his voice tinged with determination.
"Now, what should I wish for?" Lin Wei hesitated, his gaze fixed on the holographic screen as he weighed his options. "Should I wish for strength or heaven-defying talent?"
After painstakingly deliberating the pros and cons of each choice for almost half a day, Lin Wei brainstorming was abruptly interrupted by a sharp knock on his door. "Hey, brother Lin, the Young Miss ordered you to drive her to the city square!" a voice called from outside his servant's quarters.
"I'm sorry, brother Ling, but the supervisor granted me a day off today," Lin Wei explained as he opened the door.
"Brother Lin, the young miss will be furious if you refuse her order," the servant insisted, trying to persuade him.
"Brother Ling, I'm truly sorry, but I cannot comply at the moment. Please find someone else," Lin Wei apologized, his tone firm but apologetic.
"Hmph, Lin Wei, I warned you. If the young miss punishes you, it's your own doing," Brother Ling retorted coldly before storming off.
Closing the door behind him, Lin Wei shrugged indifferently, his thoughts turning to the system he possessed. 'Why should I fear punishment when I have the system at my disposal? With a mere wish, I could ascend directly to the Emperor Realm,' he reasoned with himself. 'But there's no need to waste a Minor Wish on this. What I'm about to wish for should rival even the Emperor Realm.'
With resolve in his heart, Lin Wei summoned his interface and uttered, "System, I'm ready to make a Major Wish."
.....
Within one of the courtyards of Fang Clan, the dimensions weren't grand, spanning roughly 1000 square meters. A quaint open pavilion stood proudly at its center.
In this tranquil setting, a sharp, angry voice pierced the air.
"That Baiyun Zhengwei is such a scoundrel," spat one of the women from the pavilion, her tone filled with indignation.
She appeared to be around 15 years old, dressed in a flowing hanfu adorned with soft pastel hues and delicate floral embroidery. Ribbons trailed behind her, swaying gently in the breeze. With glossy black locks secured by a dainty hairpin, her hair cascaded in gentle waves around her shoulders. She was none other than Fang Jaili, the youngest daughter of the Fang Clan's Patriarch.
"He may bear an upright name, but his actions speak otherwise. Sister, you must help me seek revenge," she implored, her youthful face contorted with humiliation and rage as she fixed her gaze on the woman opposite her.
"Calm yourself first, then recount what occurred," came the composed reply from the figure seated across from her, her voice devoid of emotion.
The women opposite her is radiating unparalleled beauty, she held the distinguished title of the most captivating woman in all of Dragon Tail County. Her skin resembled freshly fallen snow, her brows sharp as swords framing her flawlessly sculpted face. Adorned in a resplendent red hanfu dress embellished with intricate lotus motifs, she exuded regal elegance that commanded attention. Despite her breathtaking appearance, an icy chill pervaded the air around her, mirrored in the disdainful gaze of her eyes. With an aura of untouchable superiority, she was Fang Xuetong, the esteemed eldest daughter of the Clan's Patriarch.
After her sister's composed response, Fang Jaili took a deep breath, gradually calming her racing heart. With newfound composure, she recounted the events leading to their conflict. "I was en route to the Eternal Flame Alchemy Pavilion when I stumbled upon a 50-year-old Dusk Bloom Grass. Just as I was about to purchase it, that scoundrel happened to pass by and offered an even higher price in spirit rocks. Seeing an opportunity, I attempted to outbid him, as I needed the herb to concoct a pill that would aid me in breaking through to the Master Realm. Our bidding war escalated until he offered the shop owner 1000 Spirit Rocks, I didn't bring much money so I left, " she explained, her voice tinged with frustration. "But imagine my shock when, as I was about to leave, he made such an indecent proposition," Fang Jaili continued, her words laced with extreme humiliation.
"Oh? What did he say?" inquired her sister. Still as cold as ever.
"Hmph, he had the audacity to suggest that he would provide the herb in exchange for my body. What's worse, he deliberately raised his voice so that everyone could hear," Fang Jaili recounted with gritted teeth. "I ordered my servant to retaliate, only to discover that his attendant was at the Peak of the Master Realm," she added, her tone filled with dejection.
"I sought assistance from Father, but he's currently in seclusion," Fang Jaili lamented, her voice heavy with disappointment. "His attendant informed me that Father is on the verge of a breakthrough to the late stage of the Martial King Realm. That's why I've come to you for help."
"Where is he now?" inquired Fang Xuetong, her voice tinged with a hint of steel.
"I'll inquire with my servant," Fang Jaili responded, summoning her attendant. "Find out the whereabouts of Baiyun Zhengwei," she instructed.
"Yes, young miss," the servant acknowledged before swiftly departing on the assigned task.
After a tense few minutes of waiting, the servant returned with the requested information. "Young Misses, Baiyun Zhengwei is currently at the city square," the servant reported.
Upon hearing the news, Fang Xuetong wasted no time in issuing commands. "Prepare my carriage immediately, and summon Lin Wei to drive me there," she ordered briskly.
"Yes, young miss," the servant affirmed, hastening to carry out her instructions.
"Thank you, sister," Fang Jaili murmured, her voice tinged with gratitude, her eyes glistening with unshed tears. "You've always been so good to me."
"Hmph, this will be the last time I assist you," Fang Xuetong replied tersely, her tone betraying her reluctance.
