"Duke!" He shouted in alarm. Duke turned to him and noticed Dominique's eyes weren't on him. They were fixed on something behind him. As he noticed Dominique's eyes dilated, instead of checking what it was, he ducked out of the way, narrowly avoiding a sharp tail that had managed to slice through the air, cutting between the pillars Duke had previously rested on.
As Duke turned to stare at the creature, his eyes widened in shock.
He knew instantly that if he was going to get out of here alive, he needed an option Six or even more
Dominique grabbed Duke's shirt, tugging him away from the path where the creature had struck, causing a quake. They hastily retreated to another pillar, far from the one they had previously sought cover in. Once safely behind the new pillar, they cautiously observed the vicinity once more, scanning their surroundings for any signs of danger.
