Gesine
As I arrived, I saw Cassius wearing an all-black suit. It was obviously suspicious, but I didn't think much of it.
He said he wanted to go meet a friend, so maybe he is being genuine. I warned him about coming home late since tonight I will be cooking dinner.
And I want him to taste it. Will it be weird? Acting like a couple? I'm so stupid. I didn't know it, but my face was redder than usual. Must be from the heat, right?
But at this moment, he was still not home. I warned him, and he didn't follow it, so naturally, a bad boy must be punished.
So I stayed up the entire night to wait for him. As I waited and waited and waited, I eventually grew bored. But that was until I heard a knock and knew immediately who it was.
He continued to knock on the door, but I didn't open or even answer. Instead, I waited for him to open the door since I had unlocked it. As he did, he looked at me first, my body, and then straight in the eyes.
"Where have you been?" I asked.
"As I said, I just met up with a friend."
"Have you realized what time it is? I cooked dinner a few hours ago, and now it has gone cold."
"I'm sorry." I looked at him, and it didn't feel like he was really sorry. I did want to ask what he did, but that would make me look like I'm interested in what he is doing.
"Eat your dinner and sleep since I'm going to bed." I stood up and went to my room and closed the door, but not entirely. I left a small gap so that I could see him.
He took off his shirt, revealing a muscular body and scars. Did he live in a battlefield or something? Those scars and wounds are quite big and severe. How did he manage to survive all those?
"What should I do?" he started talking out loud. Does he do this when he's alone?
"What should I wear tomorrow? Probably not something flashy or I will stand out like a sore thumb," I wondered about where he is going to go.
"That damn Lucas tying me up with his sister," huh? Sister? Does that mean he has a girl already? Wait, no, he said tying him up, meaning the man named Lucas is trying to make his sister be Cassius' girlfriend.
He yawned and went to his room; he didn't even eat yet, the dinner is still on the table! Does he have some memory loss? Then the door to his room opened, and he was in a sleeveless shirt as he sat down at the dinner table and ate the food I cooked.
With that peace in mind, I washed my face and headed straight to bed. It's time for peaceful and quiet sleep.
A few hours later...
I anticipated too much; my hair was messy, and I had black circles below my eyes. My face looked ragged; it started a few hours back.
As I headed to bed, I was really sleepy, and so I thought I was asleep. When I woke up thinking it was morning, it was still in the middle of the night. I tried to sleep again, but it happened over and over again. I've come to a conclusion.
Am I jealous? Me, a beautiful girl, jealous of a girl I never met? I can't sleep; I only thought of Cassius in the city with a cute girl wearing a skirt. I'm going crazy.
I drank a few glasses of water and tried to sleep. This time it was getting hot. I slept soundly, but my dream was horrifying. No, I can't call that a dream; it was a nightmare.
Every time I managed to sleep, I saw Cassius kissing another girl! What the hell? Since when have I fallen for him? He's just a handsome pervert bastard. Huh, did I say handsome? Forget that.
I kept on punching the pillow, and without knowing, my face was as red as an apple. I'm embarrassing myself.
It has been going on for a couple of hours now. I looked out the window and the sun had already risen, and I hadn't gotten a wink of sleep.
This is a curse. I got out of bed and tidied it before leaving my room. As I headed towards the kitchen to grab a glass of water, I saw Cassius.
"Oh? Good morning, Gesine—wait, why do you look like that?" I look like what? I didn't get an ounce of sleep, so what can I do?
"It's nothing. I just had stuff to think about last night," I glanced at him, "nice outfit."
He looked like a noble from his outfit, and as usual, his favorite colors are black and purple. It suits him.
"Thanks," he looked at the mirror and fixed his hair before going out the door, "I'll be back!"
And there he goes. He usually asks for permission to go out, but this time he didn't. Then the door opened again, and it was Cassius.
"Aren't you gonna ask where I'm going?"
Huh? He came back just to say those. Well, isn't he a good boy? If I did ask him, I bet he would just lie, right? Hiding a date, stupid.
"No, just go wherever you want for all I care," that sounded mean.
"Alright then," he left again. This time he didn't come back.
Whether he ends up in the castle or the deepest ocean, I honestly wouldn't care. Is what I thought, but here I am in the center of the inner city, watching Cassius waiting for his date.
There were girls that looked at him every time they passed by him. Is it because of his looks?
"Hey!" There was a shout in the distance, a cute girl wearing a skirt and a beautiful purple-colored long-sleeve outfit. She was cute.
"So that's your date, Cassius."
