He was surprised when he realized bodyguards were following him within the house. Joe wiggled his head. He went to the dining room and after he had eaten. He was accompanied by the bodyguards outside.
Joe was met with another big surprise. A ready-prepared luxurious car was waiting at the front of his house. That car cost about ten million dollars.
While he was still in awe, a young damsel approached him. "Young master. The car is prepared and the driver is ready to drive you to wherever you want. Mr Morgan will join you soon." She bowed as a sign of reverence.
Joe nodded his head. He was accompanied by his bodyguard to the car. Joe was met with another surprise when the door was opened for him.
It wasn't too long that his father joined in.
The driver started the car and it wasn't too long until they got to the company. But Joe's father received an urgent call. He wouldn't be able to go in with his son.
"Son, just go into the company. I just received an urgent call. I will join you soon."
The car doors were opened. Joe stepped out of the car. He walked into the company and he was shocked at the sight of who was before him.
Kane and Sophie; his ex wife. He wondered what they were doing in the company and immediately those two saw him, Sophie was hell-bent on finding out what he came there to do.
Joe wasn't surprised when they approached him. "What are you doing here? Hun!" Sophie's voice pierced Joe's ear and he shot a deadly glare at her.
"And why do you care?"
Sophie chuckled. "Who the hell are you that I would care about you? I am just beginning to think why would a scumbag appear at such a prestigious company? Or do you plan to apply as a cleaner?"
Joe was taken aback by that statement. "So you belittle me this much?"
Kane cut in. "You are a nobody afterall. And why are you putting on such an expensive dress? This is worth a fortune."
Sophie chuckled. "He probably must have stolen it." Joe couldn't believe his ex-wife would say such a thing.
"I didn't steal it. It was given to me by Mr Morgan."
Kane swallowed the saliva in his mouth. "Huh. That would be for charity. Mr Morgan is such a kindhearted man."
"A charity? You must be kidding."
Kane was taken aback. "Who do you think is joking with you? You this scumbag!"
Joe gritted his teeth. "You are not in the position to call me a scumbag. Who do you think you are?"
Kane chuckled. "I would have loved to introduce myself, but you are not worth it. If not for the contract I am here for, we won't be speaking at all."
Joe hissed aloud. "You are such a shame! After taking my woman, you are still planning to get a contract? I would make sure you don't get it."
Kane was surprised at his gut. "And who do you think you are to stop me from getting the contract? Remember your place and don't overstep your boundaries."
Joe smirked. "If I do, what can you do about it?"
Sophie and Joe were shocked at those words. "I will make sure I deal with you after getting this contract, so I can seal those lousy mouth of yours." Kane clenched his fist.
Joe scoffed. "I wonder who will be dealt with at the end of the day."
That word pierced Kane's ear, his eyes widened. Before he could speak, Joe walked out on them. That only made Kane furious.
"Who the heck did he think he is? I will make him regret his actions." Kane was thrown off balance. He almost lost his sanity.
Sophie held his hand. "Don't overwork yourself on that scumbag. I heard Mr Morgan came with his son." Kane widened his eyes.
"His son?" Sophie nodded her head. "Yes. I heard he found him not too long."
Kane raised his head slightly. "I must get to meet his son before anyone else so I can impress him."

After so many hours, Mr Morgan arrived in the company. He was welcomed by the members of the company, but before his arrival Kane and Sophie had left.
Mr Morgan had to postpone the meeting due to the urgent call he recieved earlier and that was the reason Kane and Sophie left.
That day, Morgan acquint Joe with everything in the company. It wasn't an hassle to understand the nitty-gritty of the company.
From that time, Joe enjoyed his newfound status. Until the day he would be announced as the new CEO of Bestling company.
He was about to shock the world. Joe had been informed of that great day and when it came, he was ready to show himself to the world.
He freshened up and got himself ready. He walked out of his room and he joined his father at the table.
"Son. You really need to be fast. A lot of people are waiting for your arrival."
Joe nodded his head.
Kane and Sophie had heard about the schedule for the announcement of the new CEO. They prepared gifts so they could impress the CEO. Kane and Sophie made sure they arrived early. They stood where the CEO would see them clearly.
Little did they know that they were about to face the shock of their life.
When Joe was done eating. He walked out of the house. Joe's driver started the car engine. Several other car engines were started. As Joe's car moved, several other cars followed - it was a convoy of black calibar cars. Each of them worth Fifty million dollars each.
It wasn't too long when Joe arrived at the company. He was surprised to see the company's staff gathered around.
As if the surprise wasn't enough, he was soon shocked to see Sophie and Kane bearing gifts in their hand.
He giggled. 'They must also be here to impress the CEO.' He thought in his head.
It wasn't too long that the door of Joe's car was opened. It was more like suspense to Sophie and Kane. They were eager and so, they got so close to his car.
Joe stepped his feet outside the car. Sophie and Kane's eyes bulged with shock. Their are mouth widened with bewilderment. 'He is the new CEO?' Kane felt his heart skip for a second.
Joe shot a deadly glare at them. What happened next was something unexpected.
