6:00 p. m
As the first rays of sunlight paint the sky in hues of gold and pink, Me, Valeria, Tita and Tito step onto the fertile soil of the farm. The air is crisp, carrying the scent of earth and the promise of a day filled with possibility. We are greeted by the farmer, a weathered yet kind-hearted soul, who guides us through the rhythms of farm life.
Naisipan namin na mag hiwa hiwalay para mas mabilis kami matapos sa gawain sumama ako kay Tito since kailangan din niya ng katulong pag bungkal ng lupa para sa mga bagong pananim.
"Are you sure you can do it?". Tanong ng ama ni Valeria sakin.
"Tito hindi man ako tunay na lalaki pero yakang yaka ko yan". Tumawa ng bahagya si tito at nag umpisa na din nga kami mag bungkal.
May iba pa din kaming kasama na tauhan nila dito ang iba ay nag papakain ng baboy, may ilan na nag didilig at nag papakain ng iba pang mga hayop.
Maayos ang buhay ni Valeria dito pero syempre kagaya ng alam ko may pangarap siyang tao at gusto nya na gumawa ng sarili niyang pangalan na kanyan talaga.
"Tito, buti hindi ninyo pinigilan si Val nung gusto nya mag abroad ano kahit maganda naman na yung magiging buhay nya dito kahit hindi sya mag trabaho". Wika ko.
"Hay naku sa totoo eh tutol ako kaso wala akong magagawa, kilala ko yan, alam ko na pangarap nya yun kaya kagaya mo sinuportahan ko nalang". Sambit nito at hindi man lang nag angat ng tingin at patuloy sa pag bungkal ng lupa.
As the sun climbs higher, I and Tito go back to the cabin to take a break to enjoy a rustic farm lunch with other farmers the ambiance was filled with joy, people keeps on talking and laughing about stories that they are telling with each other. We savor the flavors of freshly picked vegetables, we taste a testament to the labor of their hands.
In the afternoon we engage in the art of harvesting, our hands deftly plucking ripe fruits and vegetables from the bountiful fields. They revel in the vibrant colors and the sweet aroma that fills the air.
It was honestly my first time in a farm and it was such a great experience, especially that I spend it with Valeria and her family. I was happy seeing her smile and laugh while having conversations with her people.
But I felt a sudden pain in my chest as I remember, she only has three days with me.
"Yeah, are you okay?". Nagulat ako ng bigla kong mamalayan na nasa tabi ko na pala si Val.
"Oh, I'm okay". I said as I continue to pluck a tomatoes on the tree and put it inside the basket.
It was probably going to be a bittersweet memory that I will reminisce when she's gone.
As the sky becomes red we gather our things and clean the place before getting back to the house.
"Sit down I'll just cook some food for you all. Water? Do you want?". Tumango naman si Tito at Val kaya daglian nag labas ng tubig si Tita.
"I'll go back to the kitchen now". Sambit ni Tita sumunod naman si Val saka tinulungan ang ina.
I watched them and saw their laughter, how tita taught Val what to do.
"Ay baka matunay anak ko nyan". Nagulat ako ng biglang umimik si tito.
"Ah pasensya na po namamangha lang po kase ako kapag nakikita ko yung bonding ng pamilya ninyo, ang saya po ano napaka simple ng buhay". Napa ngiti naman si tito sa akin saka ay umimik.
"Alam mo ba sikreto sa masayang pamilya?". Tanong niya. "Pagmamahalan at pag intindi sa isat-isa, dapat mahal ninyo ang bawat isa kahit pa malayo kayo sa isat-isa". Wika nito.
I looked at them again, ito yung pamilya na gusto kong buuin kasama si Valeria, balang araw.
6:30 p. m
Our day has come to an end and all I can feel was a pain in my back. Napagod ata masyado.
"Does your back hurt? Do you want a massage?". Tanong sakin ni Val saka kinuha yung pang haplas na nasa drawer ng kwarto namin.
"Lay down I'll massage you". Sambit nito so I lay on my back and remove my clothes.
"Ugh". Hindi ko mapigilan na mapa ungol habang minamasahe ni Valeria yung likod ko, sa sarap sa pakiramdam ay napapa lakas pa nga ito.
Nagulat pa ako ng may dumapong halik sa likod ko.
"Umm...Val what are you doing?". I asked.
"Your back look so sexy". I was deeply shocked and was shy about what she said.
I put my clothes on and lay again on the bed on my back, gosh I'm shy.
"Hey?". Sambit nito saka inundayan ako ng sanday.
"Stop Val, I'm getting shy". Sambit ko, narinig ko ang mahinang pag tawa nito.
"Allright I'll stop just face me, will you?". I face her and the moment I knew she suddenly kiss me.
"I love you Lex". She said out of the blue.
"I love you more th-". Natigilan ako sa pag salita ng muli nitong idampi ang kaniyang labi sa akin.
"Thank you for making this thing happen". Yumakap ito ng mahigpit sa akin.
This girl really know how to make my heart skip a beat, and I like it, I love it that she knows me too well.
