11:30 p. m
I was at my desk doing some of my pending paperwork when Lexi came.
"Ms. Ximenez, have you eaten already? can I accompany you?". Naka ngiting tanong nito sakin, habang panandalian naman akong napa tingin dito.
"Sure, I would be glad to". Wika ko dito at akmang aalis na sana kami ng bigla kaming harangin ni Marcus.
"Let's talk". Wika nito na tila nahahalata ang galit sa bawat sambit at pag bitaw nito ng salita.
"I'm sorry Mr. Valdez but we we're about to take our lunch". Singit naman ni Lexi.
"And I'm sorry Ms. Villanova but I wanted to talk to my girlfriend". Nagka tinginan ang dalawa at halos mag salubong ang kilay ni Marcus, I know he was mad about what I did the other day.
"Mauna ka na Lexi susunod nalang ako". Umalis naman ito at nag lakad patungo sa buffet area. Habang kami ni Marcus ay nag punta sa rooftop upang duon mag usap.
"Whats wrong with you lately then now you were with someone do you even know that Lexi is a lesbian?!". Pabulyaw na sambit nito.
"Honey are you jealous?". I was acting all cute while asking him that's all I can do he's so mad really pissed of.
"Who wouldn't be you don't want to make love with me then suddenly with someone you were having fun!". He shouted.
I then moved closer to him and wrapped my arms around his neck.
"Honey I don't want to be wed with a big tummy, I want to be the prettiest bride when you plan to marry me". I said acting all flirty with him. I know him he can't resist me, he won't resist me.
"Also she's just a friend of mine nothing special okay?". I assured him.
"Okay, just promise me one thing. That you were only mine Valeria, only mine". He said and hold my chin.
Disgustingly I just kiss him as an assurance that I'm only for him and him only.
Umalis ako saka dumiretso muna sa powder room I fixed myself at saka lumabas para hanapin si Lexi.
I saw her at one of the table eating alone kaya naman kumuha na din ako ng pagkain ko at lumapit dito.
"Did you wait too long?". I ask.
"For you I will wait even if it takes forever". Sambit nito habang naka titig sa akin.
"Then let's eat". Pag iba ko nalang sa topic namin saka kumain na din.
She's really flirty huh, but in a good way I think.
12:00 p. m
After we finished eating we get back to our work.
Naupo na ako sa aking desk habang si Lexi naman ay bumalik na din sa gawa nya.
4:00 p. m
I already plan to go home, I fixed everything and pass all the paper that is needed for today.
I get out of the building and waited for a cab.
Once I get home I take a bath and cook some food for dinner.
To pass of my boredom I plan on just doing some painting, one of my hobbies.
I was in the middle of painting when my phone rang.
I read the name and it was Marcus, I was relieving my stress and suddenly the stressor call. I picked up my phone and answer it.
"Honey, why suddenly call?". I asked in a cute voice.
"Because I miss hmm. Honey are you free? Let's eat outside". Pang akit pa nito.
"Sure I'll just change". Sagot ko naman.
"Yeah, I'll wait for you outside hmmm. I love you". Wika nito and ew it was actually disgusting, like yuck.
I change my clothes and fix myself after that I went out and I saw Marcus standing outside of his car.
He then open the door for me so I take a seat.
When we got to the restaurant he ordered, one of his most toxic attitude that I didn't notice back then because I was afraid to lose him. He control what I eat.
"Waiter". Tawag nito sa empleyado ng restaurant.
"Yes sir, Good evening what can I do for you?". Magalang na tanong ng dalaga.
"I'd like to order your giant burger with a fries on the side and a coke". He said.
"For the lady?". She asked.
"Just a salad for the lady, she doesn't want to get fat you know". Sambit nito at nanahimik nalang ako.
I know this well, because it actually happened back then and you know what's funny? I will pay for all of it.
Tahimik akong kumakain ng salad na inorder ni Marcus para sakin habang sya naman ay ini enjoy ang pagkain nya na burger at fries.
"Love, I'm sorry if I only ordered salad for you, I just want you to be in a good shape huh?". Wika nito at ngumiti nalang ako ng mapait.
Nang dumating na nga ang oras ng pag babayad ay ini abot na ng waiter ang bill samin.
Akma na kukunin nito ang wallet nya, but when he realize that he left it his eyes widen, na praning ito at tila kapa ng kapa sa kanyang bulsa.
"Honey?". Sambit nito sa malambing na boses.
"Can you pay for now? I don't have my wallet with me". Naka ngisi na sabi nito.
I just get my purse and find my wallet, I place the exact amount that was written on the bill.
"It's okay right? We are going to be a family soon so it's okay right?". Tanong pa nito.
Family my foot.
Matapos na makapag bayad kami ay naisipan naman naming mamasyal.
We plan to go at the park and just watch the starts.
"The stars are pretty right?". Maikling sambit ni Marcus habang ako naman ay hindi inaalis ang tingin sa ulap at mga bituin.
"Yes, it's pretty". Sabi ko nalang bilang pag sang ayon dito.
"It's so pretty just like you". I was in tears of what he said, napa buklos ako sa pagka higa namin sa damuhan at tumakbo paalis.
It was weird isn't it? I'm pretty well I wish what he's saying was true, he seems like he was full of affection towards me and I hope it was true but it wasn't and it hurts.
Tumakbo ako ng tumakbo at natigilan nalang ako ng mapagod ako, at kasabay nito ay pinunasan ko na din ang mga luha na tila kanina pa nagigilid sa aking mga mata.
"That crazy bastard, how dare he hurt me! How dare he!". Sigaw ko sa na naging dahilan upang mag tinginan sa akin ang mga tao sa paligid ko.
"Is she crazy?". Rinig ko pang bulong ng isa sa mga dumadaan.
Lumakad nalang ako pa layo at duon nga ay natag puan ko ang aking sarili sa tapat ng condo ko.
I walk into my room and just throw myself on the bed.
I'm tired and hurt.
