Chapter 219 - Chapter 219 - What the...? A Ferry in this World?!

Third person POV

A bit later, the group arrived at Blareween's port, which was a big, wooden one with a lot of room for all boats and ships. It was 9 a.m., and seeing their destination, Russell and his group got off and saw the panoramic view of it. A few wooden boats and ships can been seen loitering at this hour. But this bred a new dilemma for the group: the bus had to be left behind since there were no water vessels big enough to carry it. So, with a similar question in mind, Russell went up to a nearby crew member on the site and asked him about the possible ships coming to the place. Hearing that, the crew member, a middle-aged man looked at him and replied back, "Oh, there is one, young lad."

 "What was it?" Russell replied.

But then, as the dock crew was about to continue his explanation, a ship's horn broke through the quiet, coastal atmosphere in the pier. Russell and the others on the pier heard that, and Russell was stunned with shock, knowing that…

"Wait…" his mind said, "…only modern ships can make that sound, so that means…"

Russell then looked at the sea, only to see a modern ferry coming to the port.

This shocked him, a lot. "What the…? No way!"

He couldn't comprehend what he had seen and fainted from shock.

The ferry, manned by an Otherworlder who was an Otherworlder, was a modern one with 4 decks (plus the car deck), and it was made of metal that is rust-resistant. That ferry, known as SS Athelstan, comes to that port 2-3 times a day and doesn't do ferry voyages at night and during stormy days. But back at Russell, Adrian and the other boys saw him fainted on the ground and went to his aid while the girls stared at the ferry with awe on their eyes.

 "Woah…"

 "It's like a sea castle…"

 "So big…"

As Russell regained consciousness, the same port crew member who explained to him about the ferry said to him brightly, "Ah, there she is, the SS Athelstan, the big fish of the seas…"

"Woah!" Russell replied back in awe and shock. "So huge!"

 "Yup, lad."

Russell's mind then wondered, "I wondered if the owner of that thing was an Otherworlder, too…"
