Third person POV
And then, a group of adventurers was about to enter the Tokap Stenen Caves when Gregory saw them and said to them, "Halt! Don't enter that cave!" The adventurers didn't and glanced at them, only to be surprised by his presence because…
"Sir?" one of them responded.
"Gregory-sensei!" another added
Most of the adventurers were Gregory's former students.
Gregory saw that it was his former students who responded to him but focused on his task of hiding his radioactive discovery.
As the adventurers watched in curiosity, Gregory dug a hole under a crystal, placed his testing box, and buried it, before blocking it with the bottom of the large crystal. "There, so no one would discover it, ever," he said to himself while being relieved, before leaving the cave. Outside, one of the adventurers asked him, "Um, sensei, what is going on?"
"Oh, Steven, it's been n while since you kids graduated from the academy a few months ago," replied Gregory back nicely and positively.
"Hi there, sir!" another adventurer greeted happily.
"Ah, Annie, long time no see, too."
Russell and his party were surprised to see that Gregory knows them well.
"So, how are you, kids?" Gregory asked the adventurers.
"We're doing fine!" one of the adventurers, Steven, replied back happily.
"We used what you had taught us in our journeys," his companion, Annie, added positively.
"That's good," responded Gregory back brightly. "It seemed that you had used what I had taught to you kids."
"Also, why are you forbidding us to enter that cave?" another adventurer asked him.
"That one is full of radioactive crystals. Remember that topic of radiation in physics class?"
The group of adventurers then tried to remember that in school and did so.
"Oh…"
"That one was dangerous…"
"So that means that cave was full of that radioactive crystals?"
Gregory then nodded. "Yes."
He then looked at the entrance of the cave. "One of you had earth magic, right? Can you cover the cave's entrance, please?"
"Got it!" Steven, who had earth magic, responded with volunteering, before going to the front of the cave's entrance.
The adventurer and earth mage then used his earth magic to cover the cave's entrance, covering and sealing it away from anyone who would want to enter it.
After that, Steven ran back to Gregory and said to him, "Done!"
"Good," responded Gregory back. "Now let's flatten the surface to look as if it was a mountainside."
So, the adventurers, alongside Russell and his party, flattened the dirt on the sealed entrance to make it look like a mountainside.
After that, Gregory was happy that the Tokap Stenen Caves was now sealed away forever and decided to reward his friends and the adventurers with refreshments at his place in Carelis. The May party and the adventurers were happy to hear that. So, all of them went to Russell's bus and boarded it, before Russell would turn it on, close the door, and leave the place back to Carelis. Later, back at Carelis, Gregory led the directions to his house, which is a big cottage home with a dedicated lab for his physics paraphernalia. That house was located in the northeastern part of town in some fields with a fence that separate them from the mountainside. There after all of them got off, Russell and his party were stunned with amazement at the size of Gregory's home, which was built by Gregory with the help of the townspeople. That house served as Gregory's residence and base of operation.
"Wow, your home was big…" Azalea commented.
"That was a bit smaller than my house…" Russell added with a nod.
"Yep, this is my home," Gregory said to them brightly.
The adventurers were positive because most of them who were his former students used to visit the place after school to spend time with him, watch his physics experiments, and study with him.
Inside the house, Gregory made a jug of lemon juice with sugarcane and ice cubes, which was made by Azalea's ice magic, and served it to them alongside some slices of whole wheat bread with strawberry jam and butter on it. Russell and the others were happy to have a nice afternoon snack after a hard effort to cover the Tokap Stenen Caves from being discovered of its murky and dangerous contents. The adventurers shared stories of their times with Gregory as students in their school days, and Russell and his party were amazed at their happy times with Gregory as Gregory smiled with good pride.
