Chapter 176 - Chapter 176 - No to Nuclear Weapons in this World!

Third person POV

But then, after entering another passage of the crystal caves at 14 feet from the surface, Gregory's Geiger Counter detected a slightly higher amount of radiation in it, alerting everyone. "What? Radiation here?" Russell responded to this.

 "What is that?" Kelly asked.

"Yeah, what is that?" Rai added.

Azalea looked concerned.

Seeing the reading on his Geiger Counter, Gregory looked at them. "Guys, let's get out of here before we get more radiation exposure."

Thinking that the caves were dangerous after all, Russell and the others agreed, and all of them ran back to the surface and the front entrance.

There all of them panted to catch their breaths while being relieved of getting out of there before getting more radiation exposure, which in turn, would lead to damage to their physical health. "That was close…" Gregory responded as he sighed in relief.

"Yeah, let's hope we weren't exposed to any more radiation…" Russell replied while sighing one more time and looking at his clothes.

To make sure that all of them didn't have any more radiation exposure, Gregory used his Geiger Counter to measure any amount of radiation on himself and the others.

Rai and Ria marveled at the machine's ability to do that, while Russell explained to them how it works to the best of his knowledge.

After a bit, luckily, all of them didn't have any radiation on them, and that radiation must have subsided after all of them left the caves, much to their relief. But thinking that the caves were dangerous to explore, Gregory planned to block the cave's entrance to prevent anyone from entering it for safety reasons. But before that, the reincarnated physicist decided to test the crystals for any, literal radiation by getting some powdered samples with his hammer. So, he did so, went to a hidden field, and laid down his backpack, which contained his handy, handheld equipment to test for radiation, to test the sample out. Russell and his party were surprised and gathered around him. After doing a series of procedures to do the testing, Gregory did so, and the result was…radiation.

Gregory and Russell were shocked and surprised, while Azalea and the others were amazed instead.

 "Radiation…" Gregory commented.

"…in this world?" Russell completed his sentence.

Not wanting that thing to cause harm in this world, Gregory shut the testing box and said to them, "We had to hide this. No one should use or utilize this in this world."

"Right," Russell agreed without a second thought.

As Gregory carried the testing box and stood up, Azalea asked, "Um, why are you going to hide that?"

"This one is dangerous," Gregory responded while running to the caves with the testing box while being careful about handling it. "We're saying no to nuclear weapons or power in this world!"

Russell followed his lead.

As she and the others ran to catch up with them, Rai responded, "What are nuclear weapons?" But Gregory was still running and focusing on hiding the dangerous discovery, not listening to her question.
