Third person POV
So, at 8:49 a.m., the bus had arrived at Rossley, and Russell opened the door, before telling them the fares for this route: 12 gold coins, 16 silver coins, and 21 copper coins for each. So, 5 of the passengers grabbed their belongings, stood up, and went to the front, paying the fare according to their current funds before getting off. Since one of them had some wooden planks tied on the roof of the bus, Russell helped out getting them for him. Luckily, Russell had bought two add-ons called Cargo Roof Rack and Ladder, plus some free ropes to hold them, for his bus, and these only cost 20 Renad Coins. These add-ons are for cargo on the roof of his bus. And so, after that, Russell gave the cargo to the man, who was a carpenter, while saying, "Here you go, sir."
Receiving his wooden cargo, the carpenter nicely replied, "Thank you, sir."
"Yes, you don't have to pay for the cargo fee. That was included in your fare."
"Ah, okay. Thanks for that."
As the carpenter and the other 4 passengers left the scene with their belongings, Samuel observed from his seat, thinking about Russell's model for fares and job as a bus driver being more unique than the ones found in the real world.
After that, Russell counted his money and placed them into his money box, before closing the box and locking it with its key. Then, he looked at Samuel and asked him about him being a Renad and his previous life. "Yes, indeed, my good sir," responded Samuel back, "I am a Renad in this life, and a British plumber in my previous life." Samuel then went on to tell him and the others about his previous life.
According to him, he was a British plumber based in Devon, England, UK. His previous identity was that of a young man called Peter Everton, a man of humble origins in the same town. His background and childhood are very good, and upon becoming the town's local plumber, he loved that job and did it very well. But then, at the age of 26, while visiting Yorkshire for a client at his job, he got hit by an upcoming car, killing him instantly. But then, he was reincarnated by Ester as a plumber in that new fantasy world. His new identity is Samuel Homer. And ever since then, he has been working as a plumber. As of now, it's been 8 months since his reincarnation.
After that long story, Russell and the others were stunned. Samuel nodded and explained to all of them that he had one Primary Novel ability and two Secondary Abilities:
Primary Novel ability: Installation (S-ranked) - an ability that allows users to install modern plumbing in homes
Secondary abilities: Earth magic (B-ranked) and Water magic (A-ranked)
Furthermore, Samuel revealed that he had the ability to buy household goods like faucets and pipes and then install them into homes. These things really stunned Russell and the others onboard.
"Wow…" Azalea commented.
"So cool…" Russell added in amazement.
"Yes, and in Marewell Town," Samuel solemnly and briefly replied back, "I'll install plumbing and a toilet for a client."
"Wow, that's amazing!" Russell enthusiastically responded. "That was really cool!"
Samuel was a bit flustered by his compliment.
Shortly thereafter, Russell went to James' printing shop to give him one of the ceramic cups he had bought at Garion City last night. There James was surprised to see it and accepted it, before saying thank you to Russell. James then repeated his thank you, this time, in Indonesian, and Russell knew that it was, according to his guessing ability. After that, Russell left the shop and went back to his bus. Back at his bus, Azalea had bought some hot bread with melted cheese in it, so she gave one of them to him. Russell accepted it and ate it with thankfulness and happiness, before drinking some fresh water from his metal canteen. John and Samuel had some of that bread for themselves, and Samuel had gotten off and bought some while Russell went to James' shop.
Later, at 9:30 a.m., it's time for Russell and his group to leave Rossley for Wallisville. Luckily, another 5 passengers boarded the bus, planning to go to Leafmight and Wallisville. So, Russell closed the door, and the bus left the capital for Wallisville. 10:04 a.m. came, and the bus arrived in Wallisville. 7 passengers paid one of the following fares before getting off with their belongings:
5 gold coins
11 silver coins
16 copper coins
Russell was happy in his service, earning even the least amount of money. After some waiting and 3 more passengers boarded the bus, Russell closed the door and left Wallisville for Leafmight.
