Third person POV
Later on, at 7:21 p.m., Russell, his friends, and Janet are in a restaurant in the city eating a nice meal. The food consisted of hot porridge, some roasted mutton, a bowl of Caesar salad, some sides of Munster cheese, and a few slices of whole wheat bread. John had some whole wheat bread and roasted sheep meat. All of them are having a good time while drinking some very light beer and fresh water. Janet whined, wishing to have a phone to take a selfie picture of her and them.
"Well, does your Tech Smart ability allow you to at least have a phone with a camera built into it?" Russell asked her.
Azalea raised her eyebrow for a bit, wondering what a camera is.
"In my current state of it…" replied Janet back while thinking, "…no…"
"Oh…That's okay. I'll write this moment in our lives on paper," Russell replied back in understanding, "and I'll even bring Nathan-san here and ask him to take a picture of us."
"Really?"
Russell then nodded. "Yes, next time. Is that okay?"
Janet was happy to hear that. "Okay!"
After that delicious meal, Russell and Janet paid for their meal, and they, Azalea, and John left the restaurant together, going back to the Bazaar Street to buy some stuff and household items for themselves and their friends and associates. Janet knew that tomorrow was the birthday of one of her students, a noble boy named Daniel Tűzkristály, so she decided to buy a mug for him as a gesture of kindness and thoughtfulness for him. Russell, meanwhile, bought a set of ceramic cups for Nathan and James, intending to give them to them tomorrow. Azalea, meanwhile, bought a scarf with blue and red, the colors signifying Garion City's identity and symbol in their banner, lines running down the scarf.
After all that, all of them went back to Janet's house to rest up for the night. There Russell, Azalea, and John rested in their room while Janet was in the dining room doing some evening work as a professor, grading her students' final scores in their recent exams, which was in Language Arts. She was doing it so she could submit them to her school's archives for exam scores. But as she was doing her work on her laptop, she felt something uneased. This was Brygida's bullying towards her at school. She felt that the mean senior professor was looking down on her for being a Renad. But in reality, she didn't know the true reason why Brygida was targeting her always. So, she just shook that thought off and resumed her work. At the same time, Russell recorded his times with Janet in his leather-bound journal with a quill pen.
The next morning, after a light breakfast, Russell, Azalea, and John were ready to leave for their day of work and quests. So, the three of them, with their belongings in tow, said thank you to Janet for letting them stay at her place for the night and for everything she had done for them. "Yes, you're welcome." Janet smiled at them. "You can come here anytime, albeit the best time should be at 3 or 4 in the afternoon because, you know."
"Yeah, we know why," Russell replied back while chuckling for a bit. "Okay, bye!"
He and his party then boarded Russell's bus as Janet bid them farewell.
Russell started the engine of his bus, and the May party left the scene while Janet went to work. Along the way, the party stopped at an urban street in the city to wait for any potential passengers. Russell put up a long wooden sign that says, "Marewell Town via Rossley, Leafmight, and Wallisville."
After a little bit of waiting, 15 passengers came and boarded the bus.
Among them is a Renad plumber named Samuel Homer, who had a client in Marewell Town who requested a toilet and piping installed in his home.
With that, Russell closed the door and left Garion City for Rossley. Along the way, Samuel, a tall young man with brown hair and dark blue eyes while sitting in a front row, asked Russell with a heavy British accent, "Excuse me, young man, are you a Renad, right?"
Russell, while driving, was surprised upon hearing that and looked at him through the front mirror. "Yes, I am. Why?"
As Russell focused back on his driving, Samuel replied back briefly and calmly, "Because I am a Renad, too, my friend."
This shocked not only Russell but also Azalea and John, too.
"What?!" Russell's mind responded in shock. "No way!"
But Russell decided to wait until he had arrived in Rossley later so heck could ask Samuel some questions about himself.
